While waiting for train to Howth , Kate asked us what we each were looking for in the tour. My husband loves history and I enjoy architecture and gardening. Kate made sure to include those items and more. I am hearing impaired and I had no trouble hearing or understanding her. Our tour was very fun and we learned a great deal. She was very attentive and caring about us as we walked along. Before leaving at the end of the tour, she let us know about some very good restaurants in the area, which we took full advantage of. Finally, Kate invited us to text or email her with any questions for the remainder of our time in Ireland. Exploring Howth with Kate was delightful.

We wanted a day outside of Dublin and had a wonderful trip to Howth with Eamon. He met us at our hotel and started filling us in on some of the history of the buildings we were passing and of Ireland as we walked to the train station. Our time in Howth was spent mostly on the hiking trail that goes along the coastline - beautiful! Eamon is very engaging and knowledgeable and will provide the experience you want. We booked Ruairi with just a days notice! He messaged us right away that our Howth day trip would be less than ideal in the rain. On very short notice he came up with a great tour of Malahide castle. We spent the morning exploring the castle and the gardens. He taught us a ton about Irish history and answered all our questions. In the afternoon he showed us around Dublin and we ended the day with the best toastie & pint of our trip. Absolutely amazing. We had a magical day hiking Howth Cliff with Ben. It was our favorite tour that we did while visiting Ireland. Ben was a great tour guide. My family of four (including two picky teenagers) LOVED our time in Dublin with Eamon. We did two tours with Eamon--the Dublin kickstarter tour and the day trip to Howth, both of which were pretty perfect! Eamon was a fantastic tour guide. He met our family of 5 at our Air B & B and gave us a brief walking tour of Dublin on the way to the train station. From there we took a quick train ride to the beautiful seaside village of Howth. Along the way Eamon shared his vast knowledge of the history of Ireland. Once in Howth we braved cold howling winds from Storm Dennis but that didn't dampen Eamon's spirit and the absolute beauty of the cliff walk. The day was definitley the highlight of our trip. We did a 3 hour walking tour of Dublin with Hugh and we had a great experience. First, let me start by saying that Ruairi was so accommodating for us. We had had some travel challenges and ended up arriving in the city 14 hours late. He changed his schedule to accommodate us and then shifted the tour to start at our hotel and then gave us a truly marvellous tour of all of Dublin’s hidden gems. My sister and I took the Kickstarter tour on our first night in Dublin. Even before our tour, Ruairi communicated with me and gave me great recommendations to maximize our time. We told him we wanted stories, not just pointing out buildings, and he delivered! We had a lovely tour ending at a proper Irish pub, where Ruairi shared a pint of Guinness and an extra hour of conversation with us. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Ruairi, he is funny, and the history and stories shared were priceless. The area selected for the tour was great, and filled with amazing shops and restaurants, you could sense the local vibe. The reason for my rating was the food, I thought that for the price and number of stops (10 locations) only two were true meal samples: a falafel and a tiny beef stew. The rest were pubs, nuts, cheese sample, a couple pieces of chocolate, and ice cream. At the end, I was still a bit hungry. Great guide, great area, food was average
