Ali was great. He was very knowledgeable and took care of everything. He picked us up at the hotel and dropped us in the evening. Mont st Michel was breathtaking! I recommend using his services for every tour you want to take. I suggest wearing comfortable shoes because you will do a lot of walking. Don’t pass up this opportunity because it is a once in a lifetime experience!!Loved it!!

Ali was great and was flexible when we were a bit late with Uber troubles, and also with my 75 year old mother in law's limited mobility to set the pace for her to keep up (which is why we got a private and not group tour). The only suggestion is that I wish there were more savory stops as it was a little on the sweet heavy side.Great private tour for mobility issues

I scheduled our 10 Tastings of Paris guided walking tour with Ali specifically at the beginning of our 10 days in Paris and that turned out to be a top decision. Amazing experience. Fully reliable counterpart, replied to all queries beforehand, good ideas and suggestions on taking the tour. Opt for Segways! I had so much doubt - was perfect, by far better than bikes. We did not even notice time elapsing. Two hours was short. Would not mind going longer! Stops and pics whenever opportunity came by. Do not hesitate!

We told him we couldn’t handle much alcoholic beverages during the day so he switched our itinerary to be more food based. We enjoyed our "Fairy Evening in Paris" with Ali. He is very knowledgeable. My suggestions for improvement is with "With Locals." Guides need to be able to be identified easily - name badge, a "lollipop" as used by Viking, a flag, an umbrella, etc. Secondly, the use of a a "voice box" with microphone for the guide and earbuds for the guests. Our walking tour with Zoltan in July 2022 was WONDERFUL! Zoltan is thoughtful and extremely informative. Zoltan tailored our tour to our interests. Zoltan paused several times and asked us what we would like to do or know instead of giving us a scripted tour. Zoltan even included instruction on how to use the Metro.---we used this several times! This is the BEST way to get to know Paris. You can not cover all the areas and sites by yourself. You should book with Zoltan! Please do this tour FIRST so you will be able to get around in Paris! We had contracted Zoltan for a private walking and foodie tour of the Marais. He was at our hotel to pick us up on time.....and we had the greatest day. My girlfriend and I walked with Zoltan all over the Marais. We were taken to the best patisseries, boulangeries, shops, cafes, etc. along with all of the history of the area and monuments we needed to see. Zoltan was so pleasant, knowledgeable, and knew every inch of the Marais. We stopped in a cafe for wine and refreshment.....and he took us for bites of great food of all kinds. Zoltan was one of our favorites guides and helped make our first trip to Paris even more special and memorable. He is flexible and was able to customize our tour. He met us at our apartment and helped us navigate the metro. My husband really wanted to see Notre Dame so Zoltan showed us the way. We also got a chance to see Hotel De Ville, Shakespeare and Company, and walk around the Latin Quarter as well as Le Marais. We stopped at a few shops along the way that peaked mine and my daughter's interests. I was thrilled to find a beautiful vintage pair of Chanel earrings that a Chanel associate at 31 Rue Cambon, later inspected and told me was a great find! We also visited a few places for macarons, including Maison Georges Larnicol - delicious without the high prices at Laduree. Zoltan also told us about the Kouginettes, a puff pastry they sell here. I LOVE the homemade salted butter caramel. It melts in your mouth and just thinking of this special and amazing sweet treat is making me crave for it all over again. They're even better than the macarons. Zoltan is extremely knowledgeable about food, history, culture etc... It was as if we were being shown around Paris by a dear, close friend. He is so fun, laid back, and easy going. We had a great time hanging out with him and learning about Paris. He also takes great pictures! Our time with him flew by. He told us about La Vallee Village, an outdoor shopping center with 100+ luxury brand outlet stores and how we could get there by metro. We bought several bags at a reasonable price at Gucci and Karl Lagerfeld. We just wish we had Zoltan with us because, unfortunately, we got lost several times navigating public transportation on our own and grew extremely weary, frustrated, and exhausted. We wasted a lot of precious time trying to figure out how to get back to our apartment until we finally ended up calling Uber to drive us 40 minutes back to Paris. Needless to say, this not so fun experience on our second day of our vacation made us steer clear of using the metro during the rest of our trip in France and Spain. We would definitely hire Zoltan again the next time we visit Paris. Thanks again Zoltan! Zoltan Helped Make Our Trip Even More Memorable

Ali was a perfect host. We were running late (which we communicated to him) and he was patient and greeted us warmly with appreciated bottles of water. My two cousins and I had a wonderful day with Zoltan touring the castles and wine tasting in the Loire Valley. Zoltan is very personable and has a great personality which made spending the day with him very enjoyable. He picked us up at our VRBO right on time and was a very safe and careful driver in his nice and clean mid-sized SUV. Zoltan went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the day's itinerary and had excellent suggestions as to which castles to visit and where to eat lunch and go wine tasting. A previous private tour to the Normandy Beaches was cancelled at the last minute by another tour company that we had booked with prior to learning about WithLocals. My family and I were fortunate that it was cancelled because we were able to book with Zoltan. It was a long day but Zoltan treated us like family and his high energy allowed us to see all of our bucket list items plus many more. Zoltan is very pleasant, very engaging and so very knowledgeable about the Normandy area and what happened on the fateful day of June 6, 1944 and afterwards. He walked with us through the museum at the American Cemetery and told us many stories and provided historical information about the D-Day invasion. We were able to have lunch at a local cafe on the beach which was both pleasant and relaxing. Zoltan was always willing to take our pictures at the different locations. We had a fantastic day in Normandy and the D-Day beaches and it was mostly due to Zoltan. He was very open to adjusting the day's sights and activities based on our wishes and bucketlist. He was informative not just about the food but also about the history behind it, the kinds of foods we sampled were varied and delicious, and he infused the tour with a ton of fun and knowledge. I want to appologize to Ali for this very late review. My husband Dave and I went to Paris in July of last year 2021. We booked Ali to show us Normandy and nearby towns for the day. My husband is a huge history buff. I could not of asked for a better guide. Ali picked us up at the train station and had arrange for us to have some fresh croissonts and coffee upon arrival. The day simply went flawless! Ali is a smart, kind, patient and listens to his clients concerns and needs. I would book Ali a million times over! The Normandy experience we had would of never been as great as it was without Ali. I am a very picky New Yorker and Ali was perfect for me and my husband.
