Sara was fantastic, fun and positive! She did everything from start to finish. We only had to show up! She not only has a wonderful tour, she pre-bought our train tickets having them ready for us to go to Naples from Rome, before we even met her at the train station in Rome to go to Naples. We enjoyed that she took us to places that most tourists do not typically see, and taking us to places where locals eat. Sara was able to show us hidden gems along our tour that we would have missed if she was not with us. She would patiently wait as we went into places she suggested, or if we stopped to buy pretty jewelry from street vendors. She knows exactly where she is going and was observant regarding time. When we would go to Foodie places, we did not stand in long lines. She went to the front person and they immediately had our food ready. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. She suggested for us to have WhatsApp on our phone, which was very helpful in conversing with her prior to the tour and for an easy meeting point. We were delighted to spend time walking around with Daniele. He was kind enough to meet us in our hotel which was a bit away from the usual areas. We went into churches that we would definitely have missed without him. We also caught the changing of the guard at the presidential palace and had a nice beer and a chat in a rooftop bar. We spent four epic hours with Max, who was able to keep the whole family entertained and captivated with Roman stories. We hit most of the hotspots (which can be catered to each family/group) and all feel we learned ao much about what the city has to give. There is what we read in guide books, and then there are those stories which can only be told by someone who has lived and breathed a city with so much passion and curiosity. The tour was both entertaining and enriching, catered for both myself and my two boys (aged 9 and 11). We walked for miles, but all felt light and manageable - even in Rome’s organised chaos!! I couldn't recommend Max more! Thank you so much for making our Roman adventure ao special. Amazing guide with captivating stories

We booked Bado for a city walk guided tour, with our 2 kids, aged 7 and 15, while we were visiting Rome for the first time. Firstly, Bado is really friendly and so easy to chat to. He balanced history, culture, architecture and story-telling perfectly. It wasn't too much info so as to overload the kids and he was so happy to answer their questions and pick up on what interested and engaged each of them. We covered a lot of ground, all the 'showstopper' moments (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum) and stopping regularly along the way for views you might not get on a larger more generic tour, and of course breaks for gelato and snacks (crucial when touring a city with kids!) This kind of personalised pace is something you simply cannot get when joining a big group. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Bado!Super Experience with Bado!

Sara is an amazing guide because she is not just well informed but intellectually honest with that information! She is super knowledgeable about art, Roman and church history and is happy to tailor the tour to what most interests you. We had other guides, but they often presented the material as a laundry list of facts and dates whereas, Sara is conversational, relaxed and responsive to your perspective (and not without a clever sense of humor.) She knows the Vatican like the back of her hand, which is very helpful when you need to navigate around all the crowds and lines. On the practical side: she was very easy to reach and was able to offer suggestions about other places to visit and good neighborhood restaurants. We highly recommend Sara!!!Fantastic Vatican Tour!

We spent a long time with Sara, where she showed us all of the secret, non-tourist spots during our tasting tour. The best pizza, the best gelato, different styles of Italian cuisine... she not only knew where to go, but was quite often recognized by the owner of the establishment who was more than happy to give us special tastings of their dishes. I’m a bit late writing this review, but I still often think about the mini tour my partner and I did with Daniele in late February. The slower pace was exactly what we needed, it gave us space to take in the beauty of Rome without rushing, and to really appreciate the city from a local’s perspective. Daniele’s thoughtful, relaxed style made the experience feel authentic and personal. He introduced us to several local spots for snacks, all of which we loved—especially the Trapizzino! We had a really wonderful time with Max, from the moment we met up near Piazza Navona. Not only was he incredibly kind, personable, knowledgeable, and charismatic, he also deeply cares about the history of Rome and sharing it with us. His joy and expression when we engaged him with questions and excitement about what he was sharing, only made him want to tell us more. We stopped in a local wine shop for a glass of wine and a cafe for espresso. he spoke about the frescos and gave us a history on Rome. We explored alleys and stopped in a garden in a library. Our tour with Paola was like a relaxed stroll with an old friend. As we wandered & chatted through Monti (the Suburra in Ancient Rome), Paola pointed out interesting sites, streetscapes off the tourist tracks, as well as highlighting Rome’s ancient, medieval, renaissance & modern history. As it’s a jubilee year, we visited Santa Maria Maggiore’s holy door & then to Regoli’s pasticceria to sample the seasonal (& delicious ) beignet di San Giuseppe. I have been on many tours of Rome and throughout the world, and this tour stood out to me as far more superior than other tours. First, our tour guides had an incredibly deep knowledge of their city and country. Emanuele and his son were professional, clear, and most importantly passionate about their hometown. Passion makes the difference and you can see it and hear it in their stories. I felt as if my good friends were touring me around their wonderful city. Next, if you have seen the main attractions, such as the Vatican, the Coliseum, etc etc, then you can customize and they will get you to some of the most interesting sites that you would typical miss on a large tour.
