May 6,2019... Spent 1/2 a day with Claudio with my travel partner exploring the Dutch Villages Volendam and Marken. He was very knowledgeable about the history and current affairs of Amsterdam, and presented the information in a non hurried fashion allowing for questions in between. Not only did we discuss the tour but talked of all sorts of things, it was like spending the day with a good friend. I would encourage everyone to book a tour with this good soul. If we could have requested the most knowledgeable (historical, current trends, political reasons and why it all fits to make Holland work today) guide we picked a winner in Marten. He couldn't have been more personable, knowledgeable and an extremely able communicator. We felt like old friends chatting about everything from our first handshake to our last goodbye. I can not say enough good about Claudio! From the very beginning of our reservation he was very helpful, replying to messages immediately and helping us feel at ease in the meeting spot/time since we were on a tight schedule. Then our flights were changed and we had to move dates, he was not obligated to accommodate but had the new date available, so we were all set. But Delta made our time in Amsterdam go from 9 hours to one hour so our tour was off. Through the entire process he was great, and we plan on a longer trip to Amsterdam in the future and hope he will be available! Thank you.Amazing Service

My father and I had a wonderful time with Claudio exploring the small towns of Volendam and Marken. We were there during the off season which allowed us to experience the town without a sea of other tourist’s. It is a beautiful place that you must experience for your self. We spent 2 hours with Arunabha in the Rijksmuseum where we learnt a lot abour Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Vermeer and other painters of this time. Arunabha has a great knowledge of the painters and their life - we discovered some hidden connections between these different artists. We also went to see the dolls houses, which are very special, and the wondeful museum library. We very much recommend this tour.A lovely introduction to the Rijksmuseum

My wife and I had limited time in Amsterdam, as we were only staying 1 day and flying out the next afternoon. Not really knowing what to do or see, we booked this tour. Olga did an amazing job walking us around the main areas and then off the beaten paths where there is a more local vibe. She showed us several preferred location where you will get local prices and food / drinks - to include a bar, a bakery, and a cheese / bread shop. You also get away from the tourist areas which is what we prefer to do. It was a wonderful time and we highly recommend this for anyone staying in Amsterdam - if you have a longer stay, do this tour early on and you can ensure you get them most out of your trip. My husband and I had the best day with Olga for our food tour! She took us to some fantastic hidden gems and we got to try all the best traditional Amsterdam snacks we were looking forward to! We had a great time with Arunabha- he was knowledgeable, friendly and good with the kids. My only constructive feedback is this tour would have been more accurately named "Basic tour of Amsterdam" or "Highlights of Amsterdam." There weren't really any hidden gems. We got pretty much the exact same tour on the canal cruise we took. As a guide, he was great and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for something different than a basic tour I am sure he can accommodate if you send him a message beforehand. So to sum it up we really has a great time and liked him a lot, just wanted some more "hidden gems", meaning more locally known spots we wouldn't necessarily see or know about. Marten was full of stories, interesting facts and funny anecdotes as we walked around parts of Amsterdam that I doubt we would have gotten to on our own. Marten was prompt, and our time with him seemed to fly past - an indication of how absorbed we were, as we reimagined an Amsterdam of old or projected into the future of where the city is going. Olga was very nice, informative, open to questions, even when unrelated to the tour (suggestions on best ATM's to withdrawal cash). Gave us suggestions on restaurants and popular food stops on social media. She was a fill-in replacement for our originally scheduled tour guide, and voiced that she preferred not doing shorter tours like we had scheduled, which made us feel like we had made a bad choice. Annett was very kind and helpful throughout the tour. Much of the art has been moved which may have affected her tour. I wish we learned more about the history of the art itself. At times she would read the plaque, which we could have easily done ourselves. I think I just needed more history and understanding of the art itself. We arrived in Amsterdam late on a Thursday afternoon and traveled with Christa for three hours the following morning. She was a wealth of information. Walking with her through the streets of Amsterdam gave us a helpful introduction and suggestions of where to return. She offered information about the history of the city from the perspective of a local that we may not have learned on our own. The highlight was eating lunch at the American Cafe while listening to Christa play the piano. Her skills and energy were impressive. My wife and I took a highlights and hidden gems tour with Tommi and had a blast. We covered a lot of the city that we would have been apprehensive to check out on our own.
