Sophie was great for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers! She was super easy to communicate with even helping me with some London specific questions I had before we traveled. She met up with us at our hotel which kicked the tour off to a great start! Everything about our time spent with Sophie was enjoyable! More about me

Hello! I'm Sophie, a London-based tour guide for the last eight years. Originally from Norfolk in the East of England, I moved here back in 2013 and loved it so much that I stayed! I find London to be a fascinating city, full of history, culture and fantastic views. I love showing people my favourite parts of the city and sharing stories from London's extensive history.

I always joke that I did things the "wrong way around". Instead of studying history and doing theatre as a hobby, I studied theatre and did history as a hobby! I never really enjoyed history at school, but you'd always see me exploring historical sights like castles and roman ruins. I prefer history "brought to life", and I try to bring this kind of experience to my guests.

For me, meeting people from around the globe is one of the best parts of this job. I'd love to share my culture with you and hear more about yours!
