My 11-year old grandson and I did two excursions (Kanchanabiri and Ayutthia) with Saravantin and both were great. She was very attentive to our unique interests and personalized the tours based on our wishes. She is very knowledgeable and communicates well. Moddy took us on the most wonderful day trip to Kanchanburi. She was exceptionally professional, corresponding with us will in advance of the trip to understand our preferences and priorities. The day of she and our driver arrived with extra time to spare making sure that we had everything we needed prior to our departure. We did a number of activities off the beaten path, tailored to our traveling style; huge photography fans as well as small children who love interactive experiences. From buying food from locals and trying all of the fruits and tasty treats that the roadside stands had to offer to spending time and small local villages where we got to see a piece of everyday Thai life, we could not have been more happy. Moddy is a gem and will be a topic of fond memories for many years to come. Wir (Familie mit 2 Teenagern) haben mit Sammy eine Tour nach Kanchanaburi gemacht - mit Floating Markets, Brücke am Kwai, war museum und Zugfahrt. Die Tour war von Sammy sehr gut und abwechslungsreich organisiert. Die Organisation war perfekt. Ein Highlight - vor allem auch für die Kinder - war eine Zugfahrt (mit einem regulären lokalen Zug) auf einem Streckenabschnitt vor der Brücke über den Kwai. Wer diese Tour macht, muss sich klar darüber sein, dass man viel Zeit im Auto (in unserem Fall ein sehr komfortabler Van mit separatem Fahrer) verbringt. Aus unserer Sicht hat sich das aber gelohnt (auch weil wir auf der Fahrt etwas Schlaf nachgeholt haben...). Abwechslungsreiche Tour nach Kanchanaburi

Saravarint arrived punctually for the trip. Very helpful. The driver was also on time and his vehicle was exceptional with comfort, reclining seats and AC. 10/10. The tour was great from start to finish. We went up the waterfall to all 7 levels. We then had a nice lunch down the bottom which was super reasonable. Then onto fast boat down river Kwai and the bridge. Again great fun. We also visited the war graves cemetery nearby in morning. Timings were spot on. Left at 6.30am from Bangkok and back by 6pm. Moddy was an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly guide, who showed us temples, Chinatown markets and street food... we saw and heard so much in 5 hours! We had a fantastic time, she was patient, explained so much about Buddhism, the history of the kings of Thailand, and how the markets work. She also told us useful things like how to navigate the traffic and find "clean" street food, as well as which places had Western style toilets 😅. I would highly recommend Moddy for any tour of Bangkok! We hope we can see her again on our next visit.Fantastic city tour with Moddy 😊

Moddy was a revelation -: of professionalism, enthusiasm, energy, customer orientation, flexibilty. We had only 1 day to spend in Bangkok. At 9am sharp, pickup at Hotel. We had a (all included) minivan + driver at our disposal all day. 1 stop: Emerald Buddha Temple, Grand Palace. Comprehensive introduction from Moddy into the Ramakien of Phra Rama. 2. stop: Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market: wonderful and delicious (never mind James Bond and 'Man with a Golden Gun' absent). 3. Canal Tour (a must!), 4. Wat Pho, 5. Eagle Nest Roof top bar to end tour with a laaarge beer. 6. Drop off at airport. Advice: do not try that without Moddy: you would miss half of the impressions and almost all of the fun. We are very grateful to have met Moddy. We hope for another opportunity.Simply the Best!

Me and my two grown daughters had a lovely and exciting day out of Bangkok with Nok. We visited the train market, the floating market and then she even gave us to and extra experience by taking us to the mangrove forest and seeing the swimming monkeys. Nok is very sweet to talk too and we experienced so much in just one day. We only had two days in Bangkok so I’m really happy I booked the trip with a private guide to get the most out of it. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Ayutthaya with Nok. Communication before the tour was prompt and clear. Nok was flexible with the itinerary for the day, including the start time and the specific stops we'd make. On the day of the tour, Nok arrived right on time. She was a wealth of information about history, culture, food, and traditions. Our group included five people from three generations, and Nok was able to keep everyone engaged. She gave us ample time to explore while still ensuring we stayed close enough to the schedule to ensure we returned on time. As a family we do not tend to book tours but as we were visiting Thailand for the first time I decided to explore a day tour with a guide. Someone recommended WithLocals so I began to explore what was on offer in Bangkok. As a family who likes to learn about culture and also food, I was drawn to Chef Hnoi. She tailor made a day tour for us to have both a cultural tourist experience as well as visiting her local market for a culinary treat. From start to finish she was all I could have hoped for in a guide. Knowledgeable, full of interesting facts, she aimed the day at the correct pace and she took great photos of us the whole day so we can look back and remember the day. The food tour around her local market was a particular highlight as we would have never found or experienced it without her. I had a private tour with Moddy and truly enjoyed the time spent with her. She is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. While she is focused and eager to share her extraordinary culture, she is also flexible and attentive to her guest preferences. She has the gift to link past and present cultures without being overwhelming. I am most grateful to Moddy! Now I need to share a feedback about the value for money, for this price (154 US for 3 hours knowgin the cost of life in Bangkok) it would be expected that AT LEAST, 'withlocals ' organizes a pick up, rather than lets the guest struggles to find transportation, I arrived the day before from another hemisphere and urban culture. I was not familiar whether with Grab apps, the transportation system etc. I did manage but in ALL the other places where I organized a private guide a pick was almost set. However this has nothing to do with Moddy who is exceptional.

Artty was outstanding with the kids. In the heat and humidity of Bangkok he adjusted on the go to keep them engaged and having fun. They loved both the turtle and crocodile temples, as well as spotting monitor lizards on the canals. A fabulous tour and would highly recommend Artty. Great with the kids!

What can I say, Artty is one of the best guides I have ever had. He is a wonderful story teller - he held mine and my 15 year old daughter’s attention for the whole tour, and made it sound like it was the first time he was telling the stories. We really did feel like we saw the place as a local - while we walked to each of the temples we passed shops selling everything from birds nests to gold, Artty talked about it all enthusiastically and made it all so interesting. He has great taste buds - he picked out some good places to try snacks en route, and we had an excellent lunch in a local spot. He even took us through an incredible market so we could pick up some souvenirs. At the end of the trip he made sure we got on the right boat back to our hotel - he was so kind. Cannot recommend Artty more highly, we will definitely be seeing him when we go back to Bangkok.Wonderful storyteller

We loved our 5 hour Bangkok bike tour with Artty! Three of us had a day in Bangkok and wanted to focus on getting to know the city. Artty was easy to communicate with (before and during the tour) and took extra measures to describe the culture of Thailand, different religions, and different neighborhoods. He was fun to spend the day with. Artty set things up for us to meet at a bike rental shop. We set out from there and spent the next 5 hours riding through back streets, next to and over canals and the river, and getting personalized education at many temples, as well as some other interesting hidden spots. He took us to a train market for excellent local food and then had arranged for us to put our bikes on a private longboat for a long river boat ride back closer to where we started. He was thoughtful about taking photos for us the entire way and made sure we got back in time to Sathorn Pier to catch a hotel boat. We felt lucky to have made a connection with Artty and will definitely count this as one of the best ways to get to know a city in a short time. So glad we booked this activity!

Our family of 5 had the best time with Artty! In a few hours, that flew by, we saw so much of Bangkok and he managed to keep my kids attention for every second of it. Artty was super in tune with what we all were interested in and I feel like he adjusted the tour to fit our family perfectly. We had so much fun discovering hidden alleys, hearing stories in each temple, and racing through the city on tuk tuks. A perfectly timed rest to feed the turtles was also one of the highlights of the day. We have traveled a lot with our kids, now teens, and this may have been our favorite tour yet. Saravarint was right where we expected her to be at the meeting point which she customised for us which was very helpful as this is our first time in Bangkok. We visited three temples and the outside of the Grand Palace and wandered through Chinatown. Not to forget the coconut ice cream stop.
