My 11-year old grandson and I did two excursions (Kanchanabiri and Ayutthia) with Saravantin and both were great. She was very attentive to our unique interests and personalized the tours based on our wishes. She is very knowledgeable and communicates well. Moddy took us on the most wonderful day trip to Kanchanburi. She was exceptionally professional, corresponding with us will in advance of the trip to understand our preferences and priorities. The day of she and our driver arrived with extra time to spare making sure that we had everything we needed prior to our departure. We did a number of activities off the beaten path, tailored to our traveling style; huge photography fans as well as small children who love interactive experiences. From buying food from locals and trying all of the fruits and tasty treats that the roadside stands had to offer to spending time and small local villages where we got to see a piece of everyday Thai life, we could not have been more happy. Moddy is a gem and will be a topic of fond memories for many years to come. Wir (Familie mit 2 Teenagern) haben mit Sammy eine Tour nach Kanchanaburi gemacht - mit Floating Markets, Brücke am Kwai, war museum und Zugfahrt. Die Tour war von Sammy sehr gut und abwechslungsreich organisiert. Die Organisation war perfekt. Ein Highlight - vor allem auch für die Kinder - war eine Zugfahrt (mit einem regulären lokalen Zug) auf einem Streckenabschnitt vor der Brücke über den Kwai. Wer diese Tour macht, muss sich klar darüber sein, dass man viel Zeit im Auto (in unserem Fall ein sehr komfortabler Van mit separatem Fahrer) verbringt. Aus unserer Sicht hat sich das aber gelohnt (auch weil wir auf der Fahrt etwas Schlaf nachgeholt haben...). Abwechslungsreiche Tour nach Kanchanaburi

Saravarint arrived punctually for the trip. Very helpful. The driver was also on time and his vehicle was exceptional with comfort, reclining seats and AC. 10/10. The tour was great from start to finish. We went up the waterfall to all 7 levels. We then had a nice lunch down the bottom which was super reasonable. Then onto fast boat down river Kwai and the bridge. Again great fun. We also visited the war graves cemetery nearby in morning. Timings were spot on. Left at 6.30am from Bangkok and back by 6pm. We really had a great time with Saravarint touring Bangkok! We were here on business and had an afternoon to spare, so we booked a last minute tour. We met up with her and first asked if we could do some shopping to get some souvenirs for our wives. She took us to a place where the locals shopped and found us some good deals. Then we toured a few outdoor markets before heading to see the temples. She was very friendly and funny. We really appreciated her knowledge of the Thai history and culture. I was hesitating taking the trip to the floating and the train market considering it too crowded and too touristy. But with our local guide Nat everything went very smooth and the experience was very pleasant and interesting. We had a super short window in Bangkok and were honestly melting in the crazy heat, but Nok made our half-day temple tour an absolute breeze. She managed to get us through all three of the key temples, never once rushing us—even though we were slow thanks to the heat and our constant photo stops 😅 What really stood out was how thoughtful and kind she was: always checking if we had enough water, making sure we had bathroom breaks, even waiting patiently while we tried not to melt—and feeding us too! Really enjoyable tour. Sudarat was absolutely lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable. She introduced us to places and tastes we would never have found on our own. We visited a couple of eat-in cafes, explored a farmers market, and sampled eats at various food stalls. The variety of dishes was amazing, from morning glory to the infamous durian (which I liked!), and even some more adventurous options like fermented eggs (which I opted out of trying!). I am coeliac and therefore have to avoid gluten - something the Thai people aren’t familiar with so Sudarat was invaluable and did a great job checking ingredients and making sure everything was safe for me to eat. I could relax and not worry about what I was eating. Whether you're a foodie, got food intolerances, or just looking to experience the real Bangkok, I highly recommend this tour with Sudarat. The food is all included so we found it good value. Fantastic tour, ate lots and learnt lots!

We had an amazing day with Chatchai. He took myself and my two kids (8 and 11) out for a day of fun and learning. We loved each stop. My kids really loved the flower market, the smaller temple where they got to learn a lot, ask lots of questions and even get blessed by a monk, and feeding the turtles. Oh, and tuk tuk rides! Andy was a fantastic tour guide! He has a deep knowledge of the history and culture of Thailand/Siam and does a wonderful job weaving it into the tour, also explaining the different customs and traditions of Buddhism and Hinduism through stories and examples. We went on a 6 hour outing with Nat to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the Maeklong Railway Market. Not only is he an excellent tour guide, he is such an interesting person to talk with. We both felt as if we had made a new friend by the end of the tour. He knew where to go for good seats to see the train and got us to the market before it was insanely busy. We spent two mornings with Akarin. Prior to arriving in Bangkok, we shared the sites we wished to see and Akarin planned two morning tours for us. The first day we (my tween son and I) went to The Royal Barge Museum, a floating village and then to Wat Arun. After the tour Akarin made sure we got back to our hotel safely. He rode the ferry boat with us and then organized a tuk tuk for us. The second day some friends join us (3 adults and 4 tweens total) to see the Royal Palace and Wat Pho. Akarin was really patient with the kids and helped to make connections to the stories he shared to things they would understand. Again at the end of the tour, Akarin helped us to find a local spot for lunch and made sure we knew how to get back to our hotels. Akarin's English is excellent. He was able to share his knowledge and stories and answer any questions we had. I would not hesitate to book Akarin again.An Excellent Story Teller

This is one of the most confusing reviews I’ve had to write — and the reason is quite simple: we had a lovely tour that we truly enjoyed, led by a wonderful guide whom we deeply appreciated, but we didn’t exactly get what we had asked for. We had specifically requested a tour that would resemble a food tour. While we did buy food from three different places, we only ate at one of them during the tour — the other two we ended up eating back at our hotel after the tour had finished. That was the only part we didn’t really enjoy. Apart from that, Chef Hnoi was an excellent guide. She spoke very good English, answered all of our questions, showed us some beautiful and interesting parts of the city, and every recommendation she gave about Bangkok turned out to be spot on. Chef Hnoi provided us with a wonderful tour of the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, a long boat ride and more for a great introduction to Bangkok. We had a 16hr layover between flights. We wanted to see some unique sights around Bangkok during our short visit. So I arranged a tour with Chef Hnoi. She was very prompt in meeting us at the airport. Hnoi had the whole day planned perfectly. But she was also flexible to include whatever we wanted to do. We rode the train into the Mae Klong station markets. Visited a temple held up by trees and then took a boat ride to the floating markets. We enjoyed looking around. By then temperatures were soaring to 36 degrees so we decided to end our day at the MBK shopping mall in Bangkok. Hnoi had organised a fantastic private car for our travels and the comfy seats and safe driver were perfect for some weary travellers. Artty was one of the best guides we ever had! He gave us a deep dive into Thai culture and heritage and we were able to see a lot of real local sites off the usual tourist tracks! Having real Thai lunch with the locals at a tiny restaurant, seeing a beautiful temple where locals pray and experiencing some traditional rituals. Not to forget the many markets and trying some specialties you wouldn’t otherwise find. Artty was informative, a real pool of knowledge and super funny! I booked two tours with Nok while I was still at home in NZ, this is the first time I have used such a service and so was a little unsure what to expect. I also have a disability that can create mobility challenges (I use a walking stick) and was unsure also about how that would be accomodated. Nok took away any worries, the tour was at my pace and she was always highly aware of when I needed a break from walking, more water or something to eat. The two tours I went on were well worth the time and money and I could not have been happier. Nok is very knowledgeable and I was able to learn about local culture and history from someone enthusiastic about her country and work. We had an amazing time with Sudarat. We loved the fact that she took us to the reclining Buddha and showed us around and due to songkran were there were many events taking place. We got to do sand castles , add golden leaves on our buddhas. The kids loved feeding the turtles at another temple she took us , she got us traditional thai tea and the kids fed the turtles meatballs and papaya. We also loved the tuk tuk ride and walking through the flower market. Kids enjoyed their ice cream and we enjoyed our mango sticky rice! At the end she even organised for us to take a private long tail boat through Bangkok’s canals which was so interesting. The kids spotted lots of monitor lizards and we even fed the catfish that live in the canals ! Highly recommend ! Everything was amazing but I think maybe it was a bit pricey for what it was , but as parents with two small children (3 years old and 5,5 years old) I guess it helped not having to think or organize and queue for a long time. We just followed sudarat and that was nice ! Amazing experience with kids!
