TRAIN RIDE FROM NICE TO MONACO!!! Six of us had the pleasure of meeting Diana. She was a gracious, patient, flexible and extraordinary host!! Our ship arrived in Nice a bit late. We contacted Diana and she was able to adjust given our limited time. Diana was very friendly and knowledgeable about her city. We learned so much about Monaco!!! Its a beautiful city!! We started off by Diana asking us to be an hour earlier than planned. We abided. Then Diana was 45 minutes late with excuse highway was closed. (We think she had child care issues on her phone all day. She told us trains were delayed to Monte Carlo. It didn't seem people were waiting for delayed trains just she didn't want to go. We paid for an Uber including her with no offer to pitch in for anything the entire trip. When I was in USA I copy and pasted a reservation I had made for lunch. She took us to places we didn't request. Also, I missed my lunch at Cafe de Paris because she told me you can't eat there. She took us to a restaurant by the Port and it was terrible. She Ordered the most expensive thing on menu and never offered to pay. She bought one small snack for two of us. I wanted to shop and she took me to a bathing suit store. I didn't want this. She hurried us to get back from Monaco and we couldn't even have a drink at Cafe de Paris because she had to get back. NEVER choose her for Monte Carlo on a Wednesday. She is great for facts about Monte Carlo but never a personalized tour.Diana the sad

We met up with Natalia on the morning of our first day in Nice. The meeting location was very easy to find and she was prompt on messaging to find each other. We did a tour of Old Nice which we have now been back to three times to scope out some of the best items that she recommended. We then went on a walk up to the castle so got a lot of the history of the area and there’s a playground up there that the kids played at while we got some more recommendations of local things to do. We loved getting this insider view of the city. Have already recommended WithLocals tours to family and friends.Family friendly tour! Great time!

Do not hestitate, book Natalia! She is very friendly and accommodating to her audience. We were travelling with 3 kids, and tours with lots of story telling and historical facts do not really work with children. We have a new friend for life with Natalia!!! This may have been my favorite tour of a 2 week trip. Okay, yes I like to eat and this was a tasting tour, but we got the best treats along the way. Natalia is charming, easy to talk to and we definitely formed a bond. She showed us all around Vieux Nice so that we were comfortable knowing our way around for days after the tour. She pointed out the best food stops, restaurants and shops and remained available after the tour if we needed anything. She not only showed us the most beautiful spots in the city but also always responded to our questions and shared many interesting stories about the local shops. The visit to the Castle Hill was particularly impressive, where we learned quite a bit about the history of Nice. We would have loved to hear even more information during this part of the tour, but overall, it was a wonderful time. We booked a food kickstarter tour of Nice that included 6 food tastings. We expected this to be like other WithLocals food tours where we would walk & talk, stop to eat, walk & talk, eat, etc. Unfortunately that did not happen. While Karin was a pleasant and informative guide, we only stopped for food once 1.5 hours into our 2 hour tour. When I pointed out that we were not getting what we had paid for, Karin said the company writes the description but that is not the tour she does. Lesson learned is to always confirm the tour specifics with the guide. We complained to WithLocals and got a credit and we learned a lot about Nice (which was helpful) but we were disappointed since we did not get the experience that we expected. Pleasant guide, but not the tour we booked
