Noureddine and I exchanged several messages in anticipation of our tour which we were both looking forward to. Unfortunately I took ill on the day of our tour and due to a lack of phone service was unable to contact Noureddine. He waited over an hour at our meeting place. Elhadi met us at our Rhiad and introduced himself as Jamal, presumably his first name. He gave a quick resume of our itinerary warning that we'd be using calories. We found Jamal to be respectful, well spoken in English and knowledgable, introducing us to history, areas and sites of interest which we wouldn't have discovered by ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Noureddine. His local knowledge and passion for the city was obvious, and his English is immaculate. We had spent the day before seeing some of Fes independently and he was more than happy to tailor the tour to our interests and take us through some of the lesser visited areas. As well as the usual information about Fes that you would expect, throughout the tour Noureddine took the time to point out small details of interest providing local insights into the city, whether it was unique architectural details, cultural observations, or tips for navigating the medina. Many guides could provide you with an introductory tour, but these were the details that you can only get from someone that really knows and has a passion for the city. Going on a tour with Hamid was very interesting and informative. He mentioned both the history, culture, architecture and the daily life. His english is very good and he was very engaged when talking about Fez. Two hours was a really nice amount of time to get a feeling of the city but also then have time to explore yourself. I based my decision of this tour on the other reviews and they are accurate too! However the price is the same if you are 2 or 4people so for me and my mom it got a little more expensive than what we initally thought. But it was alright :) Enjoy your stay in Fes!Fez tour

Despite some initial confusion about the time of the tour, Elhadi managed to solve the inconvenience in a professional way. Thank you for that. The tour itself was very interesting with a lot of good history explained. This tour especifically is, unlike any other, quite interesting. The role of the guide tour is to "kickstart" your visits to the different places by giving an introduction to the the place to later give you free time to explore on your own. The guide will wait for you to be done to head to the next place. It was an interesting experience that for us resulted quite comfortable. Noureddine was fabulous. My wife and I were very lucky to get him as a guide. His mastery of the English language allowed all three us to enjoy the city and each other. I have a tricky sense of humor and he was right there with me. His passion for the history and culture of Fes gave us incredible insight into the people ... their customs and traditions. He gave us everything we needed to continue to explore Fes on our own the following day. I had an afternoon solo — so I took a chance and combined the Hidden Gems Tour and the Food Tour. It was a great call! Driss was very professional. He contacted me via WhatsApp before I even left on my trip to confirm with me and give me some advice about my bookings. Driss truly seemed to know everyone — he was greeted by so many people, and he greeted many himself. It could have been awkward, being by myself, but it wasn’t. He made great conversation and spoke excellent English. The food was wonderful! The fried sardines and the “meat jerky” khleer (sounds like clear) were my favorite. But goat cheese tasting and the camel meatball sandwich (whatever its name is, I don’t know) were great as well. He would see a cart or a vendor as be like “Have you tried this?” Driss was able to recommend a hammam and show me there. I would absolutely recommend Driss. I felt safe, looked after, comfortable, and like he was interested in me enjoying myself.Great Day in the Medina

We had a wonderful tour of Fes with Noureddine!! He did a amazing job in showing us all the wonders of Fes. He was very knowledgeable and really took his time in answering all our questions. He tailored the tour to our interests and we all (including our two boys) really enjoyed ourselves. Noureddine also did a great job organizing all our transportation throughout our stay in Morocco. My wife forgot her watch in our Riad in Fes and Noureddine was able to arrange to have it delivered to us in Marrakesh which was 6 hours away! He really went out of his way to help us and we can not thank him enough. I would highly recommend Noureddine, you will not be disappointed!Wonderful experience with Noureddine

Jamal was a great guide, showing us all of the main sites in Fes medina and also talking about his own life growing up there. The guide also included visits to a tanning shop and a carpet shop, but there was no pressure at all during these to buy anything. Ons bezoek aan de medina en de souks van Fès samen met Elhadi en ons gezin was een geweldige ervaring. Elhadi nam ons mee naar de minder toeristische plekken en de beroemde leerlooierijen. Ook bezochten we een piepklein theehuisje dat we zelf nooit gevonden zouden hebben. Echt een topbeleving – ook voor onze kinderen van 14 jaar! ’s Middags aten we een soort bonen soep met olijfolie en look en een broodje met gegrilde vleesspiesjes bij een goed streetfoodtentje op straat. Ook dat was opnieuw een super ervaring. Het was enorm fijn om op deze manier een eerste goed beeld van de medina te krijgen, zodat we er daarna ook zelf op ontdekking konden. Elhadi is een zeer aangename man die zich moeiteloos aanpaste aan onze wensen. Ik zou hem aan iedereen aanbevelen!Bezoek aan de medina en souks van Fès
