We greatly enjoyed our tour of Lecce with Eleonora. She is an amazing guide with great knowledge of history and culture of Lecce and the region. Eleanora advised us that she was ‘not a book’, when we first met her. We were not quoted facts and figures, but instead told the story of Lecce as it occurred over the centuries. Eleanora is professional, bright and personable, with a passion for Lecce and its culture. Of course she is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Lecce both past and present. We had a wonderful tour of the magical city of Lecce with Eleonora.
It was an extremely hot day and we had my elderly parents with us, and Eleonora ensured that there were plenty of rest spots and shaded routes to keep us out of the sun - whilst still showcasing the best of Lecce.
Eleonora also gave us lots of information for other interesting day trips and excursions for us to take advantage of whilst we were staying in the area, which was above and beyond.

We spent an enjoyable morning with Clotilde. She is an excellent guide who showed us the hidden gems of Lecce & brought the history of the city alive. One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to the atelier of Stefania to watch her make her wonderful paper mache figures & chat about her work. So interesting! Francesca was the absolute best guide! Not only did she give me a ton of history about my family’s home town of Gallipoli, she also helped me with a ton of family research (which I booked separately with her outside of the kickstarter tour). She helped me make some connections to other local residents that continue to help me with family research. She is super knowledgeable about Gallipoli and had a great tour planned. We were touring the Castello In Gallipoli when I learned, to my surprise my GGG grandfather was rather well known. It was so exciting to share that with her. She also assisted in arranging a meeting with a gentleman who manages the church records and researched the records with me! When I come back in 2026 we will explore other towns in Puglia! Eleonora contacted me to ask if we wanted to start the tour early, which was fine with us. We had booked a food tour with her, but she also explained about the history of Lecce, she was clearly very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic and we were all stuffed by the end. We went to lots of different spots to sample local food and she explained about the history of it too. Overall this was a great tour which I would recommend to anyone.Great tour

Francesca was our fantastic tour guide! She agreed to host 12 adults (which was a lot) and did a fabulous job! We learned a lot about the beautiful city of Lecce. Along the way we sampled several local treats. We were so full towards the end that some of us had to decline the final tasting.
