Trotz unserem verspäteten Eintreffen am Treffpunkt hat Lian uns freundlich und nett empfangen und und ohne Eile durch die Altstadt von Montevideo geführt. In sehr gutem Englisch hat er uns Hintergründe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben und spontan jeden Stop mitgemacht. We had a nice and informative walk with Liam. Meeting him worked perfectly and he told a lot about the city and country. No question unanswered. As we were only in Montevideo on a Sunday and everything was closed, but also as it was extremely hot, we ourselves concluded the trip a bit before the agreed end time, but that had nothing to do with his quality. Very nice and informative

Die Stadtführung war sehr informativ mit kurzer Führung durch das Gaucho Museum , mit Blick in eine alte Apotheke die jetzt eine Bücherei mit Café ist und einer kleinen Käseverkostung. Wir bekamen einen guten Überblick über Montevideo. Die Wege waren relativ kurz . Tips für den nächsten Tag hatte Liam auch noch zu genüge für uns. Danke. Es hat sich gelohnt. Es wäre noch gut wenn der oder die Stadtführer/in ein Erkennungszeichen am Treffpunkt hätte....Alles okay

Lian was an extremely attentive and knowledgeable guide. Lian made contact with us before the tour, on the morning of the tour and after the tour to ensure a complete tour experience. The pace of the tour was excellent and Liam’s English was perfect. Lian was able to share the history of his beloved city and also some quirky stories about Montevideo. Mirtha was so smart. She shared her love for Uruguayan history in wonderful detail. She approached that history from multiple angles, including geography, early Uruguayan history, European influence, anthropology, psychology, art, music, culture, and more. Mirtha introduced us to three special places in the food world of Montevideo, having us taste many specialities. The port market was delightful, so much so that we returned on our own the next day to the same place (which mixes many locals with the tourists). Mirtha also shared her local knowledge of other restaurants and sites not to be missed. We followed her advice and went to the Gaucho Museum, and Garcia where we finally had the steak that everyone raves about. All in all a very fun day and good and easy introduction to Montevideo and all it has to offer.Fun day exploring Uruguayan food and more

Mirtha created a custom tour from two tours (TenTastings and Highlights & Hidden Gems) for our group of 4 in Montevideo. Mirtha and our driver met us at the cruise terminal in a new 8 passenger van for the six hour tour. She gave us a tour of the greater Montevideo area, visited the highlights and included stops for tastings. The tasting were more like three meals. All the food was delicious. It was a weekend so some of the sites were closed (probably best to pick a weekday) but we still had a very nice tour, and Mirtha gave us many tips on seeing other things. Very nice tour

We booked this tour as a surprise for our brother who was in Montevideo on his 50th birthday. He had a very nice experience, very much worth it, he told us. Lian explained him a lot about the city and the communication in English with Lian went very smoothly. Before booking the communication with Lian was also very good. We did a tour which included seeing, and in some cases visiting, a number of the most interesting buildings and attractions in Montevideo. Plaza Indepencia, Palacio Salvo, Ciudad Vieja, Mercado del Puerta, Taranco Palace Decorative Arts Museum. Martha was a fantastic guide. Lain was charming and low key. He provided a good introduction to the Old City and its highlights. The food samplings were good. Because there was a cruise ship in town, service at the places we went was slow so that cut into our tour a bit. But no way Liam’s fault.
