Natalia was delightful. She gave us an excellent introduction to Nice, and took us all around the town to places we would not have discovered on our own, such as Cadran Soliere. She pointed out some amazing trompe l'oeil that we would have missed. We had a very enjoyable few hours with her and then felt confident enough to explore on our own. As a result we are going to make some plans to revisit for a longer stay at some point in the future.Genuine love and passion for her city

Natalia did an amazing job taking us around Nice. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. We were running late due to our flights being delayed. I notified her and to start our tour, she came to our hotel instead of meeting us at the previously arranged meeting place. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and day trip options. Our tour was scheduled for 11:30. We’re staying in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, so checked bus schedules and selected a route that would put us at our meeting place, Place Garibaldi, by 10:50, well in advance of our tour start time. I shared that information with Karin via this app and got a positive response. Our first bus had a 20 minute delay when 18 Chinese tourists attempted to board the bus, and great confusion ensued. I sent an update to Karin advising of the delay and stating our arrival now looked to be 11:31. She acknowledged and told us she had a 2 pm booking, so would need to limit our tour to the original end time and I replied we understood. We missed our next connection by a minute and had to wait another 20 for the next bus. I again reached out to Karin via this app with an update, yet received no response. When we reached the airport, our choices were tram (30 minutes travel time) or Uber (40 minutes travel time). We chose tram. I sent Karin a final update setting our newest arrival time at 11:55, 25 minutes late for our tour, and reiterated that we understood our time with her would be limited. No response. We arrived at the meeting place at 11:55 only to receive a message from Karin time-stamped 11:37 stating she had left after waiting nearly an hour for us and saying the last message she received from me said we would arrive at 11:31. I messaged her saying we made every effort and couldn’t understand why she would leave 7 minutes after our tour was to have taken place. Her response was that we should have taken an Uber and left earlier to ensure we would arrive on time. Given we left SPdV at 9:30, I believe we planned as well as we could. I also told her the time differential between the tram and Uber and finally stated she may have mistaken the start time to be 11:00, not 11:30. No response received. Bus Delays and No Guide

My family and I booked a culinary tour with Natalia during our 4-day trip to Nice. We really really enjoyed our time with her! She was knowledgeable about Nice, super friendly, and organized. She answered our questions about the history of the area and gave us great recommendations for things to see on our next visit. We got to sample delicious local food and she was very accommodating of our dietary restrictions (no alcohol, pork, or shellfish). My parents are still raving about the tour. My only regret is not booking the tour earlier during our stay so don’t make the mistake I did. Book with Natalia and do it early on during your stay. You must book with Natalia!

Notre tour gastronomique dans la vieille ville de Nice avec Natalia a été une expérience merveilleuse. Natalia était très chaleureuse et a su s’adapter parfaitement à notre groupe. Elle était très bien préparée, même si nous étions en janvier, une période où de nombreux établissements sont fermés. La visite nous a permis de découvrir le charme de la vieille ville tout en dégustant des spécialités locales accompagnées de vin ou de bière. Natalia nous a également partagé des anecdotes intéressantes sur la culture et l’histoire locales, ce qui a enrichi notre expérience. We really enjoyed our food tour with Natalia. We caught the tail end of a storm and Natalia kindly waited with us for 45 minutes for the torrential rain to stop before starting the tour. She was able to answer our many questions about Nice and sent us additional information afterwards. We booked the 7pm 10 Tastings of Nice in October for two. Karin was pleasant but the tour fell greatly short of expectations. Karin was a last minute transfer from another guide, who said she couldn’t do the tour because she wouldn’t give us the experience of 10 tastings due to the time and season. Without my consent she transferred it to Karin who agreed to the tour. Karin was nice but she chose one restaurant where she ordered very light appetizers and spent the entire time disclosing personal issues. We then did a walking portion, which on its surface, was good but the stories were disjointed and plainly confusing. We had substantially less than 10 tastings and left feeling emotionally drained, uncomfortable and exhausted from the experience. I contacted the company and received a refund but thereafter Karin somehow found my WhatsApp account (didn’t give it to her) and sent me paragraph by paragraph text messages and ended it with saying that I was a “back stabber.” The whole thing was so frankly unhinged and we are leaving Nice early now. Disorganized and not a good value

Natalia is a warm, friendly person who knows everything about Nice. From the history of the food, which we sampled and was very tasty. To the history of old Town and cities history over time, which was very interesting. To the architecture and fake painted shutters you would have never noticed without her pointing them out. She is simply the best, felt like we spent an evening with an old (new) friend! It didn't end there. Afterwards she had remembered ALL the things we chatted about and sent a comprehensive list of restaurant, bars and shops for our reference. As a solo traveler, I appreciated that Natalia curated the tour to include spots that she gathered from our conversations I would enjoy (non-touristy gift shops, great local cuisine, and outdoor parks). We did our tour the day we landed from the US and met Natalia a couple hours later. Despite being jet lagged she was very friendly and helpful as we made our way around the city trying all sorts of delicious food. She also gave us plenty of recommendations of other places to go during our stay. I would like to note that we went on a Monday when a lot of things are typically closed, however this did not deter or seem to take away from Natalia's plan at all. We've done food/wine walking tours in many cities and this one was not what we expected. We booked the tour on a Monday simply because it was our first day in Nice, and food tours are a fun way to get familiar with the city on the first day. However, when we met up with Sara she was repeatedly telling us everything is closed on Mondays, she doesn't normally do tours on Mondays, and we wouldn't get to go to the best places. Given this is a private tour, I would've expected some outreach when we booked to advise that we select a different day of the week - we would have happily rearranged our plans. But honestly, the food we tasted was great and we wouldn't have known any different if Sara didn't keep telling us it "wasn't the best". I appreciate she was trying to be honest, but it was just a strange experience when you pay to enjoy the local food and culture, but the guide is repeatedly telling you she doesn't really like the places she's taking you to. It also seemed Sara was behind schedule so we were walking very fast through the city just going from point A to point B instead of stopping to learn about the history. When we tried the food she didn't really have much to tell us about it - it felt like we just paid her to order for us and not much else. It didn't seem like she was all that knowledgeable about the food or the city. Sara did give us great recommendations to check out during our stay and was very friendly and pleasant, but compared to similar tours we've done in other cities this one was really lacking and not worth the price. My husband and I had already been in Nice for almost a week when we met Sara for our tour. We we had previously seen many of the regular “touristy” places, we requested that she show us restaurants, bars, parks, streets, etc., that were “off the beaten path” — Sara did not disappoint! As we are older seniors, Sara took plenty of time, walking us slowly up the mountain on a back path that didn’t involve so many stairs. She pointed out small squares, bars and restaurants and even a couple of places where one can hear live music! At the end of the tour, she left us at a tiny Filipino restaurant where the food was out of this world! Since our tour, Sara has kindly taken the time to send me info on other places she thinks we will enjoy which is very much appreciated. If you want a tour that is thorough and tailored to your liking, Sara is your person!Lovely tour with a lovely guide!!
