We had a truly lovely morning with Alessandra ! She was incredibly knowledgeable and we felt we had found out so much about Sorrento. She introduced us to places which we wouldn’t have found without the tour and the top tips came in very handy ! She recommended places to eat and we had the most amazing lunch on her recommendation. I would definitely recommend a tour with Alessandra - she is such a lovely lady . Wonderful tour!

We did the kick starter tour and it was so fun, so informative. He is from Sorrento and knows everyone. “Gianni Red” is just awesome! He pointed out the best places to eat, gave us some history of the area and best of all, shared some fun things for us to do while we were there. You need to take the tour shortly after you get there so you get a feel for the area. You really can’t go wrong with Giovanni’s tour.Giovanni is AWESOME!

I’ve never used this website before and it popped up when searching for things to do. Such a great idea and we had a lovely time being shown around Sorrento by Giovanni. Alessandra was a wonderful and gracious guide for us in Sorrento. We only had 2 hours to see the highlights of this wonderful port. Alessandra was very knowledgeable about Sorrento and guided us to all the lovely local places that we wouldn't have been able to figure out on our own. After a long and harrowing drive from Sienna to Sorrento, my wife and took a couple of days to acclimate ourselves to Sorrento. Truth be told, the views from the cliffs surrounding the Bay of Naples, with Mt. Vesuvius and all the barrier islands can occupy your time for a while. It's a view you don't want to miss or compromise in terms of time, if you have it. If you dont, make it. We decided on our third day to book a tour with Alessandra to learn more about Sorrento and the surrounding hillsides. Seeing a place is one thing, experiencing a place and its people with someone who lives there takes things to an entirely differnt level. This is what we love about Withlocals. Alessandra was quick and efficient with her communication as we met her promptly under the statue of Sorrento's patron saint, Saint Antonino. From there we were guided through the streets, shops, cafes and cathedrals that define Sorrento. Along the way, Alessandra peppered our views with perspective and an understanding that no guide book or wikipedia page could ever hope to provide. Highlights included Via Santa Maria della Pieta and the Basilica di Sant'Antonino among many others. Alessandra's pride of place was infectious. The enthusiasm and joy she exuded while sharing stories, not just photo opps, was wonderful. In our experiences with Withlocals what we have come to enjoy as much as the knowledged gained about where we are, it's the new and lasting friendships we have made with nearly all of our guides. It just transforms any place we are lucky enough to enjoy and in Sorrento, with Alessandra nothing could be more true.Alessandra the Great
