Everything was smooth and easy with Roxane, from corresponding with her before the booking to meeting up my first morning in Vienna. She was willing to accommodate my request to get oriented to the transit system, including stops near my hotel, how payment works, and pitfalls to avoid. We talked about the history of Vienna and myths that make for great stories. You should ask about her thesis on cultural culinary institutions in Vienna! After our time together, I took our same route into the city center a few times and never felt lost. As a solo traveler in Vienna, I always felt more confident traversing the city because Roxane made key landmarks familiar. It was truly the best way to start my time there!Roxane was a delight!

The second tour was towards the end of our trip and she offered to change our initial plans to allow us to see parts of Vienna we knew nothing about. We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Lisa Maria. At the start, she asked us whether we already knew Vienna a bit and asked us what we'd like to see, or whether we wanted to leave it up to her. We let her take the rudder and she gave us a fascinating two-hour tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and always made sure the kids could follow her explanations. We all learned a lot, had an absolute blast and can't recommend her highly enough. Wonderful tour!

Roxanne gave us a fantastic introduction to Vienna and helped us get our bearings on our first day. She was very quick to respond when making the arrangements, prompt and extremely friendly. We loved the flexibility of her adapting the walk to include things we had mentioned e.g she took us to see a Klimt painting in an auction house after we had said we were going to the Belvedere. Afterwards, we wished we had asked her to give us an overview of the history of the city at the start of the walk, as this might have helped with the context of some of the stories about different areas and buildings, but we enjoyed looking up more information ourselves later. A wonderful host and I would highly recommend Roxanne.Engaging walk

A very knowledgable guide who was very enthusiastic about the cultural and military history of Vienna. In a short space of time it was a lot to take in. While interesting, as an orientation tour it would have helpful to learn more of life today, good areas for restaurants, bars and the like. Good circuits for a walk, must do visits and even maybe areas to avoid! I realise it’s not easy to please everyone and we enjoyed the walk, but breaking up the history with a little diversification would, for me, have improved the 2hrs hours spent with her.
