The Polaroid-Tour with Francesco was the best tour we had ever done! Francesco is super simpatic. He realy talks with his guests and gives them good ideas what they could maybe fotograf. He explains very logical and easy to understand also for kids. He knows everything about Polaroid and very much about Florence. During his tour he shows a lot of nice places and shortcuts. This experience was the standout family favourite! Francesco is an amazing guide - taking his Polaroid tour was a perfect way to see Florence. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! He was so welcoming and put a lot of thought and care into our experience. Francesco showed us how to use the Polaroid cameras in terms of lighting, angles, composition and photographic techniques unique to Polaroid photography. My husband and I have fond nostalgic memories of using Polaroid cameras when we were children, whereas our cyber-age daughter was enchanted the novelty of the camera. We loved getting to explore the streets and scenes of Florence with such a friendly and knowledgable guide. Our favorite photo from the week in Italy was the photo Francesco took (with his own digital camera) of us holding the Polaroid cameras after we stopped to eat the best gelato in Florence (a shop Francesco recommended to us). This was the most fantastic experience. The weather was terrible and Francesco kept my kids engaged the whole time. He was very giving if his time and expertise and his local knowledge. He showed us hidden gems of Florence that we would otherwise have never seen. A must book tour for adults if you want to learn more about photography and get a nice souvenir from your trip. Francesco did a great job keeping our kids engaged during the Polaroid Tour. Love that he pointed out things about the city that were not obvious. He was accommodating to the necessary “kid stops” and saved the day with balloons both as props for the pictures and for the kids to play with. The kids loved him and the tour so much that they wanted him to come to Rome with us. 🙂 would book again or recommend in a heartbeat!

In august we spend a couple of hours with Francesco taking wonderful photos in Florence. The kids (4&7) loved it. He was very patient while the girls took their time to wonder the streets of this beautiful city. Having the Polaroid camera and searching for special places to take a picture made it very interesting. Because of the kids we had some extra breaks but this was no problem. Francesco did a great job. I would recommend him to everyone who wants to see the hidden gems of Florence. All in all a wonderful experience!! Wonderful tour!

A great, easy booking experience - super helpful before the kids arrived. I wasn't going on the tour but Francesco helped me arrange everything for my husband and kids, including extra cameras and making sure he had their names and ages before the tour. The kids said the tour was amazing - and I've seen the photos and videos and it looks like they had a great time - seeing the sights, taking photos, decorating paper, blowing bubbles and eating ice-creams. Als er een site ‘must do in Florence’ zou bestaan moest deze tour er zeker op! Francesco heeft ons gezin (kinderen 7 en 10 jaar) rondgeleid en het was super leuk voor hen om op deze manier actief bezig te zijn. Francesco was heel vriendelijk en aangepast op niveau: ze konden kleur toestel kiezen, hij had geweldige props (wij gebruikten bellenblaas) en toen een foto zwart bleef werd ook dat opgelost. Een heel bijzondere ervaring die dag zelf en super bijzondere een polaroids als tastbare herinnering mee naar huis. Must do!

Francesco was just what we needed for the kids to really see and enjoy Florence! He met us and gave all the kids their own Polaroid. We walked to many of the sites around Florence and he showed the kids how to take great pictures using the lighting and settings on the cameras. He took us to some spots we never would have known about. We all had a fabulous time, and the kids came home with souvenirs they took themselves! My kids are 12, 9, and 5, and they all loved it (as did myself and my husband) I highly recommend him! Amazing kid friendly tour!

This unique tour was the highlight of our family trip to Italy. Francesco was not only an excellent guide but so kind and hospitable to our family, especially our two sons, aged 10 and 6. Our sons were our principal photographers on the tour and they both rate the tour as their most fun experience of our entire 10 day trip to Italy. My 6 year old still talks about Francesco "sharing his camera with me" and can't stop talking about the tour and sharing his photos. There is something quite special about Francesco sharing his love of both Florence and instant photography and some of our favorite photos were taken with these cameras during this tour. Be prepared to walk and see famous landmarks as well as more local spots during this tour. My boys are very proud of the pictures they were able to take (with Francesco's helpful advice and guidance) on this tour. It's definitely a different kind of tour that you won't find many other places. I even found that this tour helped me think about my own photography and travel photos differently. You will not regret taking this tour and spending a few hours with Francesco!The highlight of our trip!

Francesco was such a great Guide! The tour itself is the perfect idea for kids, but Francesco was funny, informative and patient with my 10 year old, he went to all toiristic sights through streets we would never have found by ourselves. It was so hot and my son is the laziest kid when it comes to walking, but he was so busy with the camera and choosing the best spot to take his photo he didn’t even complain once! I really enjoyed this experience! Everyone always wants a souvenir from the cities they visit so I’m glad I got to participate in the making of mine this time :) Francesco was really great—very knowledgeable about photography and lighting especially using polaroid cameras! I was traveling by myself and signed up for this tour knowing almost nothing about Florence, or photography! Not only was Francesco knowledgeable about Florence (he was born and raised there, knew a ton about the history, and had plenty of secret spots and fun facts to share!), he was able to give me lots of technical tips about how to use my Poloroid camera, to capture the best lighting, framing, composition, etc. So it ended up being a photography lesson too which was incredible! Where should I start? My partner surprised me with this tour that I never heard of before: being armed with two classic old school Polaroid cameras, great sunny weather and an amazing tour guide, we started our Florence adventure. Francesco's Polaroid camera tour added a fun element of creativity to viewing Florence historical center highlights. Putting into action these old cameras brought back memories, but also helped us look for details differently with less passivity and more thought about them as we considered framing photos to shoot -- or not, as this is analog, baby, no digital free for all! He's a charming and personable guy, passionate about his instant photography pastime, patient enough to help in an encouraging manner and organized. It's nice to be shown around at times on a vacation otherwise full of self-guiding activity - with the bonus here of the take home photos. We spent extra time visiting after our tour ended, learning more and exposing ourselves to Italy from a different perspective as we enjoyed our time with this local.
