   Starting to make a simple piece of necklace, how to end the core, how to attach the claps to the core etc.

6. Higher practice

   Move to another technique of beading, bead a simple necklace, choose any materials you like to make it, how to end the bead, how to use the claps etc.

7. Final Practice

   Make another necklace. Then learn how to make bracelet and earing to match with that necklace to complete the whole set.

Thien is such an amazing and kind woman. She taught me the basic techniques of making jewelry and we made an entire set; earrings, bracelet and necklaces. There were so many beads, shells and stones to choose from so you can truly make a jewelry set that fits your personality. Free water and fruit was included and Thien also told many interesting stories. Maybe doing a jewelry course on a trip is unconventional, but it surely was extraordinary 🩷Amazing!!

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! My kids (ages 10 and 12) and I really enjoyed this jewelry making experience and Thien as our host. We loved all of our interactions with Thien as she was very laid back, funny and super quirky! The experience was well run from start to finish and Thien did a great job of teaching us all the basics of jewelry making. She was also really good with the kids and helped us problem solve anything that came up quickly. She was patient with us even though we were late and at times were a bit indecisive. Seriously one of the best experiences I’ve ever been on! The icing on the cake was that kids 10 and under are free which made this experience the absolute best value. We will cherish our personalized self made jewelry and the beautiful memories that were created for years to come. Loved Every Minute of This Experience!

I had a fantastic morning with Thien yesterday. From the moment she met me I was made to feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Thien was super organised and taught me everything there is to know about the tools and items needed to make your own jewellery. She even gave me tips on where to find items locally and online. I was able to make a beaded necklace with matching bracelet and earrings, another beaded bracelet and two necklaces. The range of beads, clasps and threads was great. I thoroughly enjoyed Thien’s hospitality, amazing knowledge and skill, and her wonderful personality. I can thoroughly recommend this class. Making jewelry with Thien was a really nice experience. If you make jewels for the first time it's is worth going here. Thien is really friendly and likes to talk a lot about everything, she makes us feel like home. After this workshop she invited us to come over to here place to have dinner together with her brother. We really enjoyed walking through areas of the city we would not have found alone. The old coffee cafe Cheo Leo, the maze of markets, the bustle of the flower market, Chinatown. Thien is full of stories and a great conversationalist explaining so many things about Vietnam. Interesting way to see hidden gems!

My wife and I selected this tour to follow (the next day) the more extensive HMC tour. It was an excellent addition, no overlap with the first tour, and experiences that would be pretty difficult for us to do with Thien. Thien's knowledge and enthusiasm are great, her English is perfect, and we had a great time.An excellent extension to the other tours.

My wife and I are in Vietnam for the first time, only for 5 days. We were seeking a tour that would give us a good taste of HCM, insights into daily life, etc, that were different and more personal than the normal tours. We haven't worked with a guide before, we weren't sure what to expect, but it was exactly what we were after. Thien is very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about her home. Her English is "perfect", the places we went to interesting, and there is some flexibility to seek more depth in some areas and less in others. The places we went to would not have been accessible to us through other means. We did this tour on the first day of our staff and used it to help plan what we would do on the rest of the stay. It was an excellent choice for us.I would give more stars if I could...

My husband and I did the Ultimate Cu Chi Tunnels tour with Thien, and it was great! It was very authentic and not the typical tourist tour. We got to see not only the tunnels, but the re-creation of the destroyed village. Thien is incredibly knowledgeable and really made the tour special. Thien first took us to the oldest Vietnamese coffee shop in Ho Chi Min City which was fabulous. Three sisters run it and we saw how all the traditional methods and are still being used today. It was fascinating and the coffee was absolutely delicious - we tried both the hot and cold versions. Definitely worth a visit. We then went off to the Cu Chi tunnels. The tour started out with a very interesting film and then we moved to a traditional village set up which was both interesting and informative. Lastly we went to the Cu Chi tunnels themselves. Despite initially being apprehensive, we explored a number of tunnels as Thien relayed the history of how the tunnels were used and various other aspects showing how the entrances and exits were disguised. We spend one of hour 3 days in HCMC going to the Mekong Delta to experience local life. We chose withlocals to get away from the crowds and touristy areas and it was a great choice. We had a great day just our family and our awesome guide Thien and got to explore different areas of the river and local life around it. It was a rather long drive to the starting point from downtown HCMC but it was definitely worth it (and necessary to reach the Mekong) and we started out exploring a real local market at the starting point that was an experience in itself. I can only recommend spending that little bit extra on taking a private tour. You will still visit places with other tourists but it would be impossible not to but I really felt we were on our own in a very good way for the entire trip. If you want to explore the Mekong, go ahead and a book a trip with Thien. Worth every penny and minute!Lovely day trip to Mekong

Thien was such an engaging tour guide right from the start. I cannot say enough about what an incredible time we had touring the MeKong Delta with Thien. Her knowledge of the area, its history, and the people that live there was fascinating and she's an engaging story teller. We all learned so much from her. She has an easy going, funny, charming way about her that got all of us talking and engaging with the people we visited along the way. It really helps that Thien knows these people so well. She knows their history in the area and is able to create an authentic experience to share with us. Because she knows the area so well, she was able to take us on less travelled paths away from larger tour groups and while we did see those other tour groups a bit, we spent most of our time with just our little group, Thien, our boat captains, and the locals. This made the tour so special. I have amazing photos of us going down small tributaries of the MeKong river where no other boats or people were even seen. We visited a family to learn about straw mat weaving and stayed there with the family for a while. The kids were so excited to see us and my partner sat and worked on a straw mat for a while with our hostess for this part of the tour. We took the kids on a Tuk Tug ride, the first time they'd ever been on one. It was adorable. Thien has to be the very best tour guide I've had the pleasure of traveling with. She made this tour the highlight of our 3 weeks in Vietnam. We learned about the history of the delta, we talked about the history of the war, we learned about local fruit, food, and folk music, while interacting and visiting with locals all while traveling by car, motor boat, sampan, and tuk tuk. I highly recommend this tour with Thien, You will not regret it. The highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

Spent three hours with Thien exploring the markets, temples and streets of HCM. We started in an area where Thien was well known by all the locals which gave us great opportunity to chat and photography. I highly recommended this to any photographer. Thien was fantastic - not only she is knowledgeable and friendly, but also her insights into the history and culture she shared along the way were deeply interesting and we learned so much. We loved every element of the tour. You can really see how carefully everything is planned and we barely saw any other tourist throughout the time. The Tuk Tuk ride through a village and quiet rowing boat ride are absolutely fantastic. But the true highlight for us was the moments we shared with the local people - the two ladies at the rice paper place and the weaving family.
