This was our second tour with Adil during our trip. We met outside of the madina and Adil took us to places we would never have visited or would of found if we were on our own. He took us to some local places which had lovely food. Adil was very thoughtful and took us to places which suited us. Across the two tours we had with Adil we had great food with a great guide. Booked a tour with withlocals but our selected guide was changed a few days before the tour. No issue and so glad as Aimad was absolutely perfect for our visit around the tastes of Marrakech. We were a family of 5 with 3 grown up children and all really enjoyed the tour. Aimads knowledge and understanding of not only the food but all things from history and culture to religion and the way of life was amazing - such a great way to see many parts of Marrakech that we simply would have missed; you can tell he is very much a man who loves this city and all that it has to offer. With our family ( 3 generations) we made this wonderfull tour in Marrakech. It was a tour with a local but also between locals. We visited the places where locals eat so we were very happy to discover that. Adil took very good care of us, asked about food allergies or preferences of meat. Adil was very enthousiastic and talked about the food but also about Marrocans and their habbits, history.. and much more. The 3 hours passed very quickly for all of us so that’s a very good sign I would say! Book this tour with Adil, you will not regret it! We have had around 15 with local and other food tours all-around Europe and SE Asia and Aimad's tour is at the top. Showed us where the food is grown and how it comes to the retail market and insights on daily food buying and local laws. The stops were where locals buy their food and it was delicious. We were totally full at the end and now know a lot more about Moroccan food and culture. My daughter and I spent the most fun, educational, inspiring afternoon with Aimad last month! He gave us a primer on Moroccan history, showing us how people in Marrakech live, where they shop, how they think, all while taking us to the the numerous places where the locals eat. I informed Aimad in advance that we were absolutely NOT interested in looking at things to buy, and I deeply appreciated it that he listened and did not bring us to shops to be shown things for purchase. He focused on things that he knew interested us: history and food, primarily. I always hire a private guide in every new city that I visit, and I can assure you that Aimad is one of the very best guides that I have come across in my decades of traveling! Got stuffed with great food, and got us outside the usual tourist streets. Made 6/7 stops, everything from breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as desert and more. Ended the day in a blissful food coma. Our tour guide wasn't Elhoussaine, though - it was Mohammed, who said he works with Elhoussaine. Mohammed had great vibes and was very friendly, but his English was quite limited. Would have liked to ask more specific questions.Great vibes, tasty food, not Elhoussaine

If you need a perfect introduction to the souk/medina - do this your very first night. Mohammad will ensure you are well looked after and you will realize how safe and fun the medina is. He brought us to places you would never try - and in the next few days we ensured we went down the dark alleys and up to the second floor places, because that's where the value and best food is. We were given a little introduction to the history of Marrakesh and its culture and a tour of the market as well as some tastings which included a full meal as well. We were very full! Omar was a great host and we enjoyed the tour, especially the cake/yoghurt/pastilla stop and the visit to the herbalist and spice shop. However I would say that the tour is probably better for a smaller group 5 people or less due to the nature of the Medina. Lastly over half the party whilst enjoying didn't think it was good value for money at the price and we also didn't do 10 tastings Enjoyed it but better for smaller groups
