I had a great time with Patomporn, or JoJo. I was 1/2 hour early, and she came right away to the meeting place. She thought her English was not that good, but she was able to explain everything to me. There was only one word for a local fruit that she had to look up on google, and it did not have an English translation. She had to ask for thai chili peppers and spices for me. She was also able to get only a couple fruit to try instead of a kilogram of fruit. I highly recommend her, but you should have two people. It was a lot of food for one person, and I took some back with me.

Arriving in Bangkok with a 19 hour layover we thought, why not do a food tour to experience the best food Bangkok has to offer. Nastassja was so welcoming, friendly and shared her passion and knowledge of food with us. I don't usually eat chilli's, but Nastassja asked me to take a very small bite with ginger and eat it with the pork sausage. I was impressed by how good it tasted, despite the heat. We really enjoyed trying all 6 dishes on this culinary experience. Would definitely recommend this tour if you're in Bangkok! An unforgettable foodie experience

Araya was an exceptional tour guide, good at communicating with us from our first contact. The tour itself ran really well and she listened to our likes and dislikes. The food she introduced us to was amazing and she even sent us a list of what we had tried for our reference later in our trip. What we didn't eat she collected and donated to the homeless which sums up her wonderful character and personality. Great market tour by Araya (very knowledgeable about the food, history, culture, people of Thailand). We tried many delicious fruits and had a yummy lunch: Plango, Durian, Mangosteen, Rose Apple, Green Curry with Beef, Pork Satay, Spicy Chicken Salad (Larb Kai, in Thai), Mango Sticky Rice. Araya is an experienced tour guide with a deep knowledge of Thai cultural history - she provided me with a lot of information that went far beyond the food we sampled. We had such a lovely time with Araya on this food tour! We visited a beautiful market, learned a lot and sampled so many delicious fruits and prepared foods. We had so much food that we ended up taking some leftovers back to our hotel! Araya was able to adapt the tour to accommodate for two of us who are vegetarian. What an amazing tour! Araya is an outstanding guide very attentive and informative, the food was spectacular in one of the nicest markets I have ever seen. All delicious and each food was accompanied by history and its origins. Araya showed us the food market, and we got to try some of the special fruits i did not know before (not the standard things like mango). After that she showed us the rest of the market and gave us some nice background information. Next she ordered us some food. Luckily she suggested some of the dishes herself as I was completely overwhelmed by the large variety. Finally we had some traditional thai tea/coffee. This tour provides a good starting point for exploring a local market and trying various food on offer. Araya was a brilliant host who took time to share her knowledge and answer our questions about the items on sale. When it came to tastings Araya suggested a few key dishes and also let us make our own choices based on what we had seen as we walked around. We would never have been confident to order from some of the stalls otherwise. This tour was within a covered area so no need to worry about the weather. I would recommend this tour if you like to eat a lot of food but don't want to walk too far.
