Juan has lots of knowledge and history of Berlin and shared in an entertaining way. We visited 4 different Christmas markets along the way. The tastings were not the expected result- one pretzel, one beer, one hot drink and one bratwurst and shared berliner…. Not what a sampler tasting of 6 would suggest for the price of 95 euros a person.Great knowledge but lacked value

We booked Michèle through a word-of-mouth suggestion and it was a great call. Michèle was exactly the right blend of knowledgable, relaxed and helpful. She didn't rush, she listened to our needs and preferences and tailored our tour so well. It was much more like being with a friend than a "tour guide". Not knowing Berlin really at all we were slightly apprehensive at the prospect of biking in a big city, but it was perfect - most of the tour is not on busy streets, and even the busier bits were relatively calm. Lee was very knowledgable and generous with his time. We took the kick start tour and off-the-beaten-track. Lee was excellent in introducing us to some of the main aspects of the modern history or Berlin. A really friendly and engaging style using historical photos to compare what we saw on the tour with pre the wall coming down. My wife and I live nearby Berlin and had two Chinese/American visitors over for whom I had mainly booked the tour. We were all extremely impressed with Juan's tour and his abilities as a guide. It turned out, even I did not know the majority of the sites and attractions myself, and - if I did - Juan always had a take on things that shone a new light on them. He is super enthusiastic, lives in Berlin for 25 years and has a profound knowledge of Berlin's history, architecture, arts, culture, libraries etc and obviously loves the city. He is very communicative, answers all your questions, also says when he does not know something (hardly the case though), and often shows you pictures on his tablet. on what places looked like in the past so you can compare them to what you see, today, so you can really get a very good impression of the changes that Berlin underwent throughout history. Juan also suggested two restaurants, one of which we went to after the tour, which was exactly the right thing and reasonably priced. This was a great 3 hour tour through Berlin which deeply impressed us and we can only wholeheartedly recommend Juan as a guide!Outstanding tour and guide!

Michele gave my husband and I a fascinating tour of all the main sites in central Berlin. We'd arranged this for the first full day of our trip, and I would recommend this timing as she also provided great suggestions of things to do on the following days. We learnt so much about the city and its history in a really enjoyable way, plus some great pointers as to where to find good craft beer. And we were lucky enough to manage to buy seats for the Berlin State Opera's wonderful production of Nabucco and watched Michele performing in the chorus! Brilliant & thought provoking tour.
