It was great to see and hear about parts of Berlin we wouldn't normally have experienced on a big tour. Lee was interesting and informative and was happy to answer our questions. Juan has lots of knowledge and history of Berlin and shared in an entertaining way. We visited 4 different Christmas markets along the way. The tastings were not the expected result- one pretzel, one beer, one hot drink and one bratwurst and shared berliner…. Not what a sampler tasting of 6 would suggest for the price of 95 euros a person.Great knowledge but lacked value

Lee was excellent in introducing us to some of the main aspects of the modern history or Berlin. A really friendly and engaging style using historical photos to compare what we saw on the tour with pre the wall coming down.
Our first time in Berlin and we were keen to spend sometime with a local to get an overview of Berlin and some thoughts of things to do / see, Lee was really informative, our only regret was we hadn’t booked a longer tour.

My wife and I live nearby Berlin and had two Chinese/American visitors over for whom I had mainly booked the tour. We were all extremely impressed with Juan's tour and his abilities as a guide. It turned out, even I did not know the majority of the sites and attractions myself, and - if I did - Juan always had a take on things that shone a new light on them. He is super enthusiastic, lives in Berlin for 25 years and has a profound knowledge of Berlin's history, architecture, arts, culture, libraries etc and obviously loves the city. He is very communicative, answers all your questions, also says when he does not know something (hardly the case though), and often shows you pictures on his tablet. on what places looked like in the past so you can compare them to what you see, today, so you can really get a very good impression of the changes that Berlin underwent throughout history. Juan also suggested two restaurants, one of which we went to after the tour, which was exactly the right thing and reasonably priced. This was a great 3 hour tour through Berlin which deeply impressed us and we can only wholeheartedly recommend Juan as a guide!Outstanding tour and guide!

Uygur took us to several great places to sample Turkish and Lebanese foods. Every dish was very tasty and Uygur went out of his way to make sure that we were tasting foods that we had not tried before.
