Iza was just a wonderful guide as she showed us around her city. We stopped at local food shops and learned the history about the croissants, cheese, macaroons and other foods we enjoyed. In addition she told us about local perfume shops and compiled a extensive list of sights and places. Definitely book Iza as a guide. Warm, friendly and just a wonderful host. Wonderful tour

Overall, the tour was okay. We did the Kickstart to culinary Paris. We walked for about 20 minutes down Rue de Honare which is the luxury shopping street. Interesting, yet not why we were there and I don't care so much for fashion and designer stores, which we talked about for the 20 minute walk. During this 20 minutes, there were also no food stops, just to find out the first place was closed. I would have assumed the guide would know this in advance. During the tour, we stopped at only 3 places. First was Laduree, then a pastry shop, then charcuterie. so I was also expecting more stops, not many times at one stop. I would be unlikely to use this company again based off my experience. Not exactly what I expected

Maxime was gracious enough to extend our time with him to be sure we did not feel rushed and could get a true feeling for the Montmartre area. He took us to a few small vignettes which I feel sure we wouldn't have found on our own. We were pleased with his candid answers to questions about his life and educational opportunities and what living in Paris is like for many. He was personable and by the end of out hours together, we felt a genuine connection!Montmartre explored to the fullest

We loved our Mountmarte tasting, walking tour for 3 reasons: 1- Alexia, what a gem! And a true local, she was knowledgeable and gave us so many experiences we would never have known on our own. 2- the tastes! Again, nothing we would have known to try as visitors, and new and different things then i’ve tried before. Great balance of sweet and savory. 3-Anecdotes and history, alongside incredible views and sights. Incredible way to experience the city! While the quality of food samples shared on the tour were good the venues left much to be desired. It was awkward trying to enjoy the different foods while standing on the street. Also would have enjoyed hearing more about the details of the preparation of the different kinds of foods.Too much on the street food

Not only did we have great food, we got a nice overview of Paris and the neighborhood we walked through and excellent conversation during the meals. Alexia was a delight as she toured us through the charming neighborhood of Montmartre. She made sure to cater the experience to our tastes and was full of stories of the different areas we walked through. She knew the best spots to stop for a little snack (an amazing pastry shop and chocolatier!) and was a huge help in asking for recommendations for the duration of our Paris trip. Giedre was a gem. She was full of information and provided us with good samples. The tour itself was not what we were expecting. We assumed we would be sampling food in restaurants. Our first sample was in a restaurant and we did sit down and eat some cheese in the park and that was fine. Standing on a crowded street trying to eat a sample was not the most pleasant experience. I was expecting more drinks with our samples and I thought wine was included, but apparently it was not.Not the experience we were looking for

Andrea does an excellent job introducing many traditional French foods (well over the 10 listed) while taking you to quaint French bistros and providing a history of Paris. My wife and I booked an afternoon tour with Anukool around Montmatre. Met Anukool and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who gave us a great tour of the area and told us many things we would not have learned if we had done this on our own. He recommended some great places to visit and eat. Montmatre as a area is well worth visiting and whilst there are the obvious attractions such as Sacre Couer there also many hidden gems. Alex had a wonderful itinerary planned for us. She sent me about 5 options to choose from and I picked one that ended in and around the neighborhood where we were staying. I also let her know we love food! It was great to be able to tailor our tour to our interests. She took us to a handful of sweets shops with different delicacies along with a shop for us to purchase good pate and cheese. We got a lot of history along the way and got to see a few hidden gems as well. She talked with each of us individually as we walked. My 21 year old son and I had the best morning with Anukool. He took us to the most fabulous places to taste French delicacies each one better than the last. So three of us (adults visiting from Canada) did this tour with Anukool today. This should definitely be on your list to do while in Paris. He is very engaging, very knowledgeable. He knows the location of hidden food gems and delights in sharing them. There was lots of food, you won’t end hungry. Highly recommend this tour and any tour with him really. Anukool has lived in France for a long time and loves his city. He is very knowledgeable about French history and an engaging conversationalist. Wow, très bien, what a great tour, and Iza was merveilleuse (wonderful)! We had the best time wandering Montmartre, savouring its delights and hearing about its history, its characters and its sights, particularly the out of the way ones. Iza, our tour guide, was so flexible, changing our route as we had already seen some of the sights. And being a Parisian, she told us all the sights, restaurants, cafes and wine bars to go afterwards (and also the places not to go)! She was easy to talk to and knowledgeable and by the end of the tour Iza was our new friend in Paris. Would highly recommend this tour and, more importantly, Iza as a tour guide. Maxime was a fabulous tour guide! He went out of his way for us, waiting for us when we were running late and even helping us catch the metro for our next event! Iza is friendly and knowledgeable and really wanted us to enjoy our visit to Paris. She had lots of great local information, from shops, food, cafes, stores, sites, etc and also lots of interesting historical knowledge of the local architecture, parks and stores. Maxime is awesome! He is so knowledgeable and personable and has a wonderful sense of humor. His love for Paris and it's history is obvious. We learned much more about the Montmartre area than we could have ever learned on our own. He was patient with our questions and sensitive to our pace (2 of us are seniors). Spending three hours with Maxime touring Montmarte has been the absolute highlight of our tour, and there have been many (on our "sampling trip" that started at Budapest, to Vienna (via Bratislava) and finally Paris). To say Maxime is knowledgeable is an understatement. What stood out was who Maxime is: a very kind, empathetic, socially conscious and extremely personable young man. He truly won us over with his genuine love of this area and his understated passion. Even though he was somewhat under the weather, he spent more than 3.5 hours walking the hills of Montmarte with with us, allowing us to take our time to stop and pause at what may have caught our eyes and at each stop would give us insight into history, social, cultural and art background. I cannot thank him enough for being such a kind person and a wonderful tour guide. My wife joins me in wishing him the very best. My goodness! Where do I/we even begin?!
