Anoj picked us up, he was already waiting in front of the port while we arrived by ship. The car was comfortable, although is was not the newest model. We had a very nice trip one day before Hindu new year. We visited a famous Hindu temple, a turtle station with beautiful turtle from new born to very old. We could hold them, and were explained a lot. Fascinating ! The we visited Galle with its famous fort and a spice shop and tea house. Driving back in typical afternoon rain through a beautiful landscape. Was a very nice trip with Anoy. We fully recommend him. Wonderful one day trip to Galle

Wir haben einen Tag gemeinsam mit Anoj verbracht. Wir haben mit Fort Galle begonnen, danach ein tolles Lunch am Strand, weiter ging es zum Schildkröten Observations Zentrum und schließlich zur Boots Safari. Der ganze Tag war gut geplant, unser Guide konnte uns vieles Interessantes erzählen und war immer sehr freundlich. Ein kurzer Abstecher bei ihm zu Hause mit erfrischendem Getränk hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Den Tag haben wir in einem schönes Restaurant ausklingen lassen. We were a party of 4 English adults from 40-60 years old. I’ve used Withlocals before as it is considerably better value and better delivered than the hotel or travel agency excursions. We wanted a totally packed day and squeezed in a crazy amount of activities in 10 hours. It was non stop (our choice) and Anoj was excellent - on time, courteous, knowledgeable and fun. Strong spoken English too and knew his subject matter. We had beautiful, serene moments at a temple and being blessed by a monk all the way through to driving a Tuk Tuk and getting deep in the mangroves awaiting sunset and the return of the birds. Not to mention those little turtles and charging around Galle and the fort. A tailor made day. Choose how you want your day to be with Anoj and just enjoy it. A wonderful day!

We contacted Anoj only 24hours before we started our trip with him. He responded fast and suggested different options of what we could do together and showed how flexibel he was. Anoj is an extremely down to earth person.I was there for a week with my elderly parents. He is very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and is extremely flexible with plans. He is very understanding of our needs. From climbing the hills to bringing us to great places to eat, he makes sure our comfort is his top priority. During the trip when my dad became unwell, he was 200% on his feet to make sure everything was properly done. With Anoj around, language was never a barrier as he is always around to ensure a smooth experience. Driver Rajitha is also very caring. I found Anoj on my hunt for a local guide on google. He was very responsive with my queries from the moment I contacted him. He was punctual in picking us up…on the first day & for the remainder of the trip. We are an elderly couple and he was extremely aware of our needs and went over and beyond his duty in making sure that we were comfortable and safe….especially while climbing up the Lion Rock. He educated us on the history of Sri Lanka….it’s culture & customs. We had arrived by cruise ship and had limited time for a tour. The booking process was very easy, communications were timely and Anoj was waiting for us as agreed. We had booked a tea factory tour, fort tour and beach. The aircon minibus was clean and comfortable, the driver was safe and Anoj showed us as much of Galle and it’s surrounding areas as was possible on a four hour tour. We absolutely loved it. My husband & I enjoyed the time with Anoj. We can talk almost anything just like friend. He arranged the activities for us at reasonable price. Like entrance fee, Yala Safari, whale watching. I know of some guide make a hefty profit out of it. At times, the day before, I decided to change my itinerary, of course within reasonable distance and time along the way, he is accomodative. He also brought us to reasonable places for meals. Knowing that we cannot take spicy food, he always ensure eateries have both local food in case we want to try and western cuisine. When I run out of LKR, he went round looking for it along the way despite a public holiday. Together with his driver partner, we really enjoyed the whole trip with Anoj. We arrived in Negombo late and stayed the night before meeting up with our driver. We were greeted by Chaminda at breakfast, as Anoj' s wife just had a baby and could not come with us for that reason. Nevertheless we surrendered to the capable navigation skills of "Chammie" as we started to call him. We were extremely releaved to have taken the "hire a car with driver" decision as only after a short while in the near new 6 seater van we understood that we don't understand the traffic rules or the lack of them nor have the patience to deal with all elements of traffic - dogs, bikes, tuk tuk, busses, cars and pedestrians in no particular order. Chammie drove the 5 of us skillfully through villages and townships. He organised last minute activities and was always punctual to pick us up the next morning. His sense of humour resonated with ours and we had a lot of laughs along the way! We can highly recommend the team of Anoj/Chaminda, as prior to the actual arrival we had good communication with Anoj in regards to the actual itinerary of the tour. So when actually in Sri Lanka we had a customised itinerary which made the trip a Super Experience all in all!Super experience of Sri Lanka

Anoj provided a professional and prompt service when I enquired about a customised trip around the best sites in Sri Lanka. He put together a fab itinerary for me, which visited all the sites I wanted to see during my 6 day whirlwind trip, including Sigirya, Dambulla rock temple, Polonnaruwa archaeological site, Kandy, Nurawa Eliya, Horton National Park hike up to World's End, a Tea Plantation, Yalla National Park safari and Galle. Then reruned me to my hotel in Colombo. My driver was Ashan who is the younger brother of Anoj. He was friendly, fun and spoke good English. We really enjoyed Madhu River safari with Anoj. He him self is a nice and humble person. Communication and price for the trip very reasonable . Most importantly he covers the area, normal boat trip doesn’t. We manage to see crocodile, temple island and off the track mangrove cave. We were surprised to see monkey and lots of native birds including kingfisher. Whole trip was done in a friendly way without any rush. Definitely I recommend this trip to anybody, who wants to see more for the same price. Best Srilankan experiance with Anoj

Great trip. Raji, Anoj's brother, along with Arjun were on time to pick us from Colombo. Showed us all the main attractions on the route to Galle. Everything went really fine. We have been picked up by Anoj and his friend in Colombo . On our way to Galle they showed us a temple, a mask factory, a moonstone mine, a turtle hatchery and a Spice garden. We also had nice lunch by the sea. In Galle Anoj showed us the old city and we watched a beautiful sunset at the beach. It was a long day, but we enjoyed every minute . We booked the 5 Day Sri Lanka Tour with Anoj and here is our review. In Brief: It was great :-) Anoj responded quickly when we made contact. He proposed a tour visiting Sigiriya, Dabulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Hoton`s Plains and the Yala National Park. This tour was surely best suited to visit some Sri Lankan "must haves" with limited time. With car and driver you can reach every place easily which public transportation proves sometimes difficult an takes much more time. Anoj told us a lot about his country and it`s history and we immediately felt like travelling with a local friend. With a guide lika Anoj you simply feel closer to the people and culture of Sri Lanka. Our tour was always very relaxed and Anoj showed us some special "secret" places on our way, that not every traveller will see. Anoj was always open to our wishes and made great suggestions as well, for example a train ride through Sri Lanka`s beautiful upper country to Ella, which we recommend strongly. He also made great suggestions for beautiful hotels on our way and helped us to manage our bookings. We always felt kept well and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
