Daphne is a great host. She showed us very beautiful locations at the northern coast of Taiwan and took care that we experienced moments that normally only locals do. Daphne was an fun and wonderfully intrepid guide, who braved the rainy weather with three Americans and showed us some of the wonders away from downtown Taipei. From helping us across the stunning geopark at Yehliu, where she kept track of us among the many other umbrellas and pointed us to some of the most delicious ginger tea we've ever experienced, to the magical town of Jiufen and its sublime snacks (nougat crackers!) and tea, Daphne was a pleasure to be with. She was an expert driver and led us through the labyrinthine covered paths of Jiufen with confidence and ease, and always had a fun place or bite to point out. We would never have experienced these amazing places without her inside knowledge, and our trip to Taiwan owes a lot to her companionship and highly professional service. Thank you, Daphne! I miss Taiwan very much, and hope to return someday! Best Day Ever!

I’ve had a great day at YangMing Mountain hiking trail. Amazing weather and great accompany of my tour guide completely made my day. Based on Daphne's experience she wouldn’t suggest to plan this hiking trail during the end of August , beginning of September due to heavy rains and typhoons that will be all over island. We’ve walked a lot and I felt that I’ve almost seen an entire Taipei city at some point on that hill. According to my guide, if you are lucky you might be able to see cows and sheep that are freely walking on those hills…Apparently it wasn’t my day or they were somewhere else :( Daphne, thank you for everything...you are 10 out of 10 Such an authentic experience!

Following instructions from Daphne, we met at our rendezvous after a short trip on the MRT. We simply bought a day pass at the booth and used it during our tour. We had a thorough and informative talk about the dictator Chiang Kai-shek while walking through the park. We visited the old town and stopped for a beer near the river before continuing our tour of the Lungshan Temple and ending our tour. Daphne was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and very patient when waiting for us to inspect local crafts and stalls. We would highly recommend her as a guide.Taiwan (not on our own)

Daphne was not only exceedingly professional, she was attentive, provided commentary and advice handily in both English and Chinese, and made helpful suggestions for other parts of our journey as well. Even though we had only engaged her for a day trip to Yilan, when she heard of our plans to Nantou, she offered to help arrange for transportation which we hadn’t planned for yet. In mere hours, she had a guide arranged for us and even the next day, after our engagement with her directly had ended, she checked in on us to make sure we were ok. I visited Tainan City, Taiwan for business and left myself 1 day and night for sight-seeing and exploring in the Taipei area. Daphne organized a perfect day for me to see historical and cultural epicenters filled with several traditional experiences: traditional Taiwanese tea time, barbecue by the biggest waterfall in Taiwan (!!), and paper lantern decorating and release in a local village. Following our day, Daphne shared some of her favorite cocktail bars in the ‘hip’ Xinyi district where each had a different vibe. I am looking forward to visiting Taiwan again within the next few months and going on a different adventure with her!Taipei in a day!

Daphne was an excellent tour guide Showing us the magic of an old mining town and a town filled with good food, plenty of souvenirs, and incredible scenery. She was patient and allowed us to do the tour at our own pace. She introduced us to many wonderful people. I had always wanted to Jun release lantern With heartfelt wishes into the air and she took us to a Very professional shop Daphne coordinated an excellent driver who was able to navigate through some Windy roads safely through the mountains. We were actually a group of five and she coordinated a larger van for us which enabled us to have a more comfortable transportation. I highly recommend using Daphne as a guide. Ask her command of English is impeccable and she is prompt and his excellent communication skills. We are a family of 6 with our youngest at 11. She speaks English extremely well and took us to many cool areas around Taipei. I never felt pressured and she was very patient with everyone. My wife and I booked the Highlights and Hidden Gems tour in Taipei with Daphne in February 2024. We had just arrived in the city a couple hours earlier and we were eager to get started and learn more about Taipei. Daphne wasted no time as soon as we met up with her getting started and it felt like our 3 hour tour flew by. Walking and taking the MRT around the city with Daphne felt like a combination of seeing some of Taipei's must see tourist attractions (such as the changing of the guard) and walking around some lesser known or less talked about areas of the city. For much of the tour, my wife and I were pointing out places or making note of where we'd want to come back to later in our trip and spend more time. Daphne was an INCREDIBLE guide. She’s knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and could answer all of our questions. She’s friendly with locals so we had many people greeting us as we walked, which was very charming. She took us to places we wouldn’t normally visit and pointed out small interesting details. She let us set the pace and gave us time to stop in shops when something caught our eye. My friend is a tea enthusiast, and Daphne guided us to a shop where we could not only sample and buy local teas, but also experience the Taiwanese style of preparing and drinking tea.
