Wir waren 2 Tage in Manila und haben 2 Tage mit Juliet und Adrie gebucht. Wir haben den Vulkan und die Vulkaninseln besichtigt, hatten ein schönes Mittagessen am See. I booked tour guide Juliet for an all day private tour with driver and it was a great experience. My first time in Manila, so I wanted someone to show me around town, learn the history of this great country, and be easy to be with all day. Juliet and our driver Anton were fantastic. They picked me up at my hotel, they were early, and off we went. I highly recommend them to anybody wanting a custom tailored day with flexibility to see what you want. Worth every penny. We had a great time on our full day tour of Manila with Juliet and our driver Anton. We hit all the highlights and still had time for everything even though i asked her to adjust some things. The traffic was horrible but Anton kept his cool and did a great job negotiating the traffic. And as an extra, unfortunately we got sent to the wrong terminal at the Manila airport but I hit them up real quick on WhatsApp and they turned around, came back and got us to take us to the right terminal. We had a 13 hour layover in Manila and Juliet met us at the airport at 7 AM with her driver Anton (we actually landed at 5:30 AM but left ourselves 90 minutes to deplane, clear customs, change money, and have a coffee). They packed a lot of great educational information into 8 hours before dropping us off at the airport at 3 PM. Rizal Park and IntraMuras were both highlights. We had a delicious lunch of traditional Philippine BBQ, and were thoroughly impressed with the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, both the beautiful setting and quality of the video and displays. Wir waren Ende März für einen Tag in Manila und wollten soviel wie möglich sehen. So wurden wir morgens von Juliet und Adrie in unserem Hotel in Intramuros abgeholt. Adrie spricht als Holländer auch sehr gut deutsch, sodass wir uns teilweise auf deutsch und auf englisch unterhalten konnten. Für die Altstadtbesichtigung kam sogar noch ein dritter Stadtführer Marc hinzu, der uns die Geschichte der Stadt sehr interessant und kurzweilig vermittelt hat. Anschliessend hatten wir einen eigenen Fahrer, der uns in diverse Stadtteile Manilas gefahren hat. Bei allem wurden immer unsere Wünsche, wir mögen es gerne "landestypisch", berücksichtigt. So haben wir an diesem Tag superviel gesehen und erlebt, haben uns hervorragend mit unseren beiden wirklich sehr lieben Tourguides verstanden. Nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an Juliet und Adrie, wir würden euch einhundertprozentig weiterempfehlen!!!Manila in einem Tag - einfach toll!

Juliet was lovely person and her communications on organising the day were good and she was early at the hotel for pick up - all of which were great. However, she didn't really offer a lot of information about anything we saw - eg for the boat trip (£100 extra) she just helped us get the boat but although saying the boatman was unlikely to speak English didn't give us any information about what we were about to see or things to look out for. She answered about half of our direct questions with an actual answer but only the briefest of info, no wider context. She had said she would customise the trip and I had asked for culture history and food. So when the pick ladies convent was a new money maker I asked to see the church that was on the image on the guide page and she said we had already passed it. We had to ask for the bits of food we had heard of and wanted to try but no proactiveness was seen from Juliet. If we had paid less then this would have been OK but for 500Euros for 3 of us this was a complete rip off. More host than guide - no information

I cannot praise highly Juliet enough for the amazing and thorough job she did taking me and my family throughout Manila during our recent trip there. Juliet was prompt, patient, and friendly. She met us at our hotel early. The vehicle and driver were as promised. Very helpful as we were dropped off at various spots to allow us to maximize our sightseeing time. We saw absolutely everything we needed to see and then some. Me and my family felt very safe the entire time, which was critical to me. Booked a last minute tour and Juliette accommodate my schedule. Rizil Park, Fort Santiago, Intramuros, China town, mall of Asia and Okada Casino. Watch the pricing it was unclear when I booked and ended up being $420 USD. I travel all over the world and this is by far the most expensive tour. Juliette was great but the cost wasn’t worth it. Should you only do one tour while you are in Manila, then it has to be that one ! It is really amazing. Juliet will start the tour with some views of the volcano island before driving you near the lake where a boat will bring you to the island. From there, you can decide to walk or take a horse (at your own expenses) to the top. I would recommend to do as i did a horse back riding unless you are 100% fit as the path leading to the top (same for humans or horses) is a bit difficult on the last quarter. From the top, the view on the volcano inside lake is just amazing. A must see tour.Taal volcano : a must see

I was unlucky to make this tour at the time a typhoon was touching Manila area. That means lot of rain and violent winds. However, Juliet manage to make the best of it under those difficult circumstances. Not only we made what was planned to be seen but Juliet manage to add a couple of things to it as a visit to a casino and the american cemetery. Manila may not be the most well known capital in the world but i would however recommand the city tour to have an idea of the city rich history.City tour of Manila

I would definitively recommend this tour as your first tour to do in Manila the next day after you landed. It is very relaxing and do not need too much energy. The natural pools allow you to swim and relax. Perfect to make your body adjusting to jet lag. Juliet allow you to stay as long as you want in the different pools. I was a party of four which included two senior citizens. Our tour guide, Juliet, prepared a perfect tour itinerary for my group. Her knowledge of Philippines history was very inviting. We always wanted to know more about the history of the Philippines. In addition, she left more than enough time to take pictures, walk around and enjoy the sights, as well as time to do some souvenir shopping. This was such a wonderful experience! Juliet was a phenomenal tour guide. We loved that she reached out personally after we booked to introduce herself and let us know of the other tours she offered, as well as advise us to dress fairly light since it would be a hot humid day. She was well informed and knew her stuff. She met us at our hotel 30 minutes prior to the tour to discuss where and what locations were a must for us to see. From there we created an itinerary. We started out at the cemetery for American and Filipino soldiers. Intramuras was fascinating! We were able to see so many parts of Manila that we never realize were there. Juliet was very open to schedule changing and adding destinations stops, of course within reason. One of the last minute changes was going to Luneta park and watching the changing of the guard. At the end of the tour, she even surprised us with a stop at Okada- a spectical to be seen! I must mention the driver, Juliet hired an experienced driver. This was the first time we have ridden with such a smooth driver. Past experiences with hired drivers were usually a whip lash fest. Thank you Juliet for an amazing experience! My girlfriend and I wanted to visit the famous Taal volcano when we arrived in Manila but it's 2.5 hours away so only a tour could give us this experience. We looked online and found Juliet, we saw she only has 5 star reviews so we knew we could trust her for a fun, great learning experience. She and her husband picked us up at our hotel on time and accommodated to whatever we needed. This is a much more personal tour and it was a day all about us and what we wanted to do. If we wanted to look at the mountain shops or go wherever we wanted, they were more than willing to take us anywhere we wanted. They were very friendly, willing to answer any and all questions we had about the Philippines and the culture. We opted for a homemade lunch with Adrie. We particularly enjoyed that we could interact and send messages with our host prior to our travels and were able to tell him of any specific food requirements as well. We arrived into Manila via a cruise ship and Adrie and Juliet (his wife) were waiting to greet us when we disembarked. They drove us back to their home to partake in the local cuisine. On the way to their home, they pointed out the sights, history and gave us local insights into life in Manila, which was a fantastic way to spend the journey. When we arrived we were graciously received by their family and given a drink whilst we waited for lunch to be served. Lunch itself consisted of multiple dishes and dessert, most memorable was of course the traditional chicken Adobo dish, along with variety of other local inspired dishes, which were all cooked to perfection and delicious. Adrie and Juliet went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and at ease throughout our entire time with them. They even went that extra mile by finding a local mobile phone vendor to purchase a data (internet) card for us. Overall we give them two thumbs way up! We couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience and are so grateful for the time spent with them. We highly recommend their service to anyone traveling through Asia. On top of my experience with the Vulcano tour I had the pleasure to stay with Adrie, his wife and family for some days on a Bed and Breakfast basis. This gave me the chance to just live the life as the locals do and enjoyed the food in their house. Adrie's wife Juliete is a perfect cook and she wants you to taste every local food that you can imagine. I enjoyed all of it and I must say everything tasted better than at home…. but then we do not have such tasteful fruits in Europe. While I was there I also learned about the other tours which I can definitely recommend. A day at the Hacienda Escudero seems a very relaxing day if you like culture, nature and easy going wandering around the park or have a swim. The tour has everything in it as far as I could see as well as another opportunity to relax if you want to go a day at the beach, like to Nasugbu Beach where you can get a day pass to enjoy the beautiful scenery, swimming pool and food. My stay at the Philippines for business and pleasure was a very positive one in all its essences and specially enjoyed my time with Adrie and his family. It already started with the booking with a very quick response, good ideas which ended up in the B&B possibility which solved all my logistic problems. Their warm welcome, hospitality, the drivemenship of Adrie (as I used him as my "taxi" driver to all the places I needed to go for my business) was amazing. Specially in Manila you need someone that knows the place and can drive like the locals do. All in all a big thank you for all the experiences and there is a lot to explore in the Philippines! I had a wonderfull day to Tagatay and the visit to the Taal Vulcano island. It is a must-see experience. The beautiful views while driving down hill to the boat, the boat tour was refreshing in the hot warm summer and the climbing up to the crater was easy to do only when its warm better start very very early. The gift was a beautifull view over the green water of the vulcano lake. Everything was taken care of by Adrie and his wife so just relax and enjoy the trip.
