I can honestly say Elena changed our entire vacation for the better! We LOVED our morning with her and all learned so much. Valerio was a terrific guide who customized the experience for our small group and allowed us to see a great deal of Venice. In my view, absent a guide you will wander and not fully appreciate what you are seeing. Valerio was not only knowledgeable but managed to give us context and make all the arrangements necessary to see all of the important sites. He then gave us time on our own to explore but again providing the us the guidance as to how to get around and what to do and see. He was enormously helpful in arranging for great restaurants and ensuring we had great experiences there and the food at all of the establishments was excellent. I would highly advise using Valerio as he greatly enhanced our total experience both through his knowledge and making the arrangements to see a great deal of Venice and the islands of Murano and Burano. He also guide us to places to shop that were reputable. Venice is a marvelous city but crowded and absent someone to guide, would be, in my opinion, overwhelming. Valerio truly enhanced our entire experience and our entire little group was very appreciative of his knowledge and providing us an unforgettable experience. Outstanding experience

We met Valerio at the Murano Faro lighthouse with three other friendly participants. He began by providing an engaging historical overview before guiding us to an exclusive display of glass art and impressive chandeliers, showcasing the potential beyond vases and cups. Highlights included visiting a the Wave glas factory to watch authentic production (not a staged demo), followed by a lovely lampworking demo + workshop with Monica that contrasted nicely with our own technique background. Valerio also arranged a stop at the Effetre Murano factory we really wanted to see since we used to source our lamp working rods there and was super helpful with logistics before the trip and tips afterward. An awesome, memorable experience—highly recommended.Fantastic tour for glass lovers!

Romy was lovely but we did not feel this experience was worth the money. The flexibility in the itinerary was nice; however, as first timers to Venice, it’s hard to know what to see and how to structure an itinerary. Romy did not offer a structured plan for the tour, we just walked around and chatted briefly about each landmark. It was not the more in-depth history tour we were expected. We felt like we had to ask questions to get information, instead of having the tour guide present information. It felt a bit half hearted and we were disappointed with the tour. If you are looking for a casual tour or have been to Venice before, this might be more fun.

She helped us get oriented, showing us both the must-see highlights and hidden local spots off the beaten path. She thoughtfully customized the tour to avoid bridges as much as possible, which was incredibly helpful since we had a wheelchair with us. Elisabetta met us where we were staying, the day we arrived in Venice. It was the perfect way to start our trip, we walked most of the city, learning bits of history along the way. We stopped at what became our favorite cafe of the trip - with the most delicious pastries and cappuccino. It felt like walking through the city with a friend, so relaxed and welcoming. Elisabetta gave us a wonderful restaurant recommendation, which ended up being one of our best meals on the trip. After being transferred to 3 different guides and them trying to negotiate a different time to what we requested, we were finally allocated Mina as our guide. And he did not disappoint!! He was incredibly knowledgeable, took us to all the popular tourist points but also took us down roads that were more local with less people. Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) had the pleasure of Elena's company for a couple of hours on our first day in Venice. She was such a great guide with a wealth of knowledge about Venice, it's history and the people. She told us lots of great stories that captured the kids attention. She was smart to limit the walking as it was the end of a long, hot day so we were all pretty tired. But we still got to see an area of Venice we would have never explored. Being from Venice, Elena has great insight into local life. For example, her family owns a gondola & she is teaching her own kids to operate it. Our day with Valerio was amazing! After meeting at the local fish market, we went to his home on murano to prepare a meal. It was delicious and so fun to feel like a local. Our tour of murano included stops to learn about glass blowing. Our daughter got to make her own glass bead and then we toured a glass showroom which was beautiful. as a true local marzia was engaging and informative she took us to a fantastic murano family gallery where we got to buy pieces directly from from the artist (an advantage marzia has of working in the trade) i suspect we could have done an amazing "other neigborhoods that tourists dont see" trip based on some of jer comments but we didnt have a extra day i would recommend everyone to spend time with marziaawesome (and made my wife happy)

Marza gave us a great tour our the islands of Marano, Burano and Mazzorbo. Marza communicated very well before and during the tour. She knows the area very well and has much experience in the Marano glass industry. She surprised us with a water taxi ride back to Venice rather than fighting the crowds on the public boats.
