Arun was a great guide and knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood. Our feedback would be to add a few more stops and some more food? It started at 7:30 and by 10pm (the end) we had really only had food at one of the stops. We were hungry and had to find a place for dinner at a late hour. Great idea- but maybe add more food?

We met up with Olga on our first night in Amsterdam, after a less than optimal travel day. We were instantly comfortable with Olga and proceeded to take our tour. My husband and I had a great time with Claudio in the Jordaan! He is friendly and knowledgeable and We really enjoyed talking to him. We hadn’t been to the Jordaan before, so he showed us around and gave us suggestions for things to come back to, like the Monday morning market at North Church and an alternative to Winkel 43 for amazing apple pie. We sat outside of a really cute brown bar in a lovely plaza and had beer and snacks and chatted before resuming our walk. It was our first night in Amsterdam, and talking to Claudio was a perfect way to get oriented. Everyone should visit the Jordaan, and it’s even better with Claudio. We highly recommend this tour! We thoroughly enjoyed our Beer and Bites walking tour with Ente. Met us on time at the appointed meeting place and started with a brief history of Amsterdam. He pointed out unique architectural features and history of buildings as we walked through the Jordaan neighborhood. The two cafes we stopped at where filled with locals and we enjoyed the cheese selection at one and the Bitterballen at the other. We spent 2 hours with Arunabha in the Rijksmuseum where we learnt a lot abour Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Vermeer and other painters of this time. Arunabha has a great knowledge of the painters and their life - we discovered some hidden connections between these different artists. We also went to see the dolls houses, which are very special, and the wondeful museum library. We very much recommend this tour.A lovely introduction to the Rijksmuseum

My wife and I had limited time in Amsterdam, as we were only staying 1 day and flying out the next afternoon. Not really knowing what to do or see, we booked this tour. Olga did an amazing job walking us around the main areas and then off the beaten paths where there is a more local vibe. She showed us several preferred location where you will get local prices and food / drinks - to include a bar, a bakery, and a cheese / bread shop. You also get away from the tourist areas which is what we prefer to do. It was a wonderful time and we highly recommend this for anyone staying in Amsterdam - if you have a longer stay, do this tour early on and you can ensure you get them most out of your trip. My husband and I had the best day with Olga for our food tour! She took us to some fantastic hidden gems and we got to try all the best traditional Amsterdam snacks we were looking forward to! We had a great time with Arunabha- he was knowledgeable, friendly and good with the kids. My only constructive feedback is this tour would have been more accurately named "Basic tour of Amsterdam" or "Highlights of Amsterdam." There weren't really any hidden gems. We got pretty much the exact same tour on the canal cruise we took. As a guide, he was great and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for something different than a basic tour I am sure he can accommodate if you send him a message beforehand. So to sum it up we really has a great time and liked him a lot, just wanted some more "hidden gems", meaning more locally known spots we wouldn't necessarily see or know about. Olga was very nice, informative, open to questions, even when unrelated to the tour (suggestions on best ATM's to withdrawal cash). Gave us suggestions on restaurants and popular food stops on social media. She was a fill-in replacement for our originally scheduled tour guide, and voiced that she preferred not doing shorter tours like we had scheduled, which made us feel like we had made a bad choice. We had a lovely morning with Olga. Anyone who likes cookies as much as us (and knows the best place to go in Amsterdam to get them) was always going to be a hit! We had a wonderful time with our local food guide Olga. She brought us to restaurants that serve traditional Dutch food (which was my request) What I liked about the tour is that we were brought to restaurants were locals ate. We had croquettes, stroopwaffels, pancakes, herring fish and a lot more. We even tried a Surinamese-Chinese dish! She not only talked about the food but also tje history that came with it. If you want a way to sample some of the most famous and/or best bites in Amsterdam this is your tour. Our tour guide Elise was lovely and the food we tried was plentiful and delicous. But, this is not a city tour in any way. We walked through one street market and ate at food stalls along the way. Dispte claims on the website, there weas no "highlights of the city" or "walk through Amstrdam's neigborhoods." Nor did we learn anything about Amsterdam's culture or history. Again, what we did was lovely it just was not quite what was advertised. This is a food tasting not a food tour
