We visited three bars and had a variety of beers and bar food. (I never thought I’d like cheese with mustard, but it was amazing). The local Belgian drinks lived up to their expectations. Elodie was fantastic company. We had a fabulous tour with Elodie. We highly recommend. Elodie educated us on traditional beer and brewing and she was able to suggest drinks to suit what we liked. Even if you are not a beer drinker this tour is great. Cherry beer is great for first timers ! Elodie also offered local hints and tips. We ate at a traditional restaurant Elodie recommended and it was also amazing. We also visited beer houses off the beaten tourist path as part of the tour that we wouldn’t have normally gone to and the accompanying snacks with the drinks were lovely. Really recommend this tour. We enjoyed our Beer and Bites tour in Brussels! It exceeded all of our expectations. I booked Elodie’s tour for my partner and I on the first night we were in Brussels. It worked out perfectly since Elodie gave us many recommendations throughout the city. Elodie started off our tour a bit of Belgian history and then we were quickly off to our first bar. We had 3 stops and at each of the bars we had one drink and a small table snack. Elodie gave her recommendation of beer for each bar and shared some history behind the breweries and/or type of beer too. She did not steer us wrong either! We had a fantastic evening together full of laughs, good stories, and learning about Belgian culture from a local’s perspective. I HIGHLY recommend Elodie.A night we’ll remember forever.

We are so grateful to have had Elodie as our tour guide, she is a truly wonderful tour guide! Elodie was very proactive in communicating with us before our tour, provided excellent directions, and met us (early!) at the appointed location. Our party of 4 had an unforgettable beer tasting experience with Elodie. She started the evening by asking about our tasting preferences and expectations from the evening and she was able to tailor perfectly the tour to our needs. All 3 places we visited were mostly “local” and Elodie always encouraged us to try some new beer, but for those who insisted to stay within the “tasting territory” they like she also found a perfect match. The biggest discovery for us was a lambic beer which Elodie reserved to the third bar. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would strongly recommend to book this tour for those who’d like to expend their knowledge and learn new things about Belgian beer and have a real local experience with a great guide. I've never been a big beer drinker, but my sister is a fan and where better to go on a beer tour than in Belgium! We met our guide Christophe in the afternoon and on our 2 hour tour tour we stopped at 4 different establishments and drank 2 different beers at each location. Christophe was a wealth of information about Belgium beers, its history and how to read a beer label. He even taught me how one should approach drinking a beer - not to take large swigs from the start, but rather slowly introduce the flavors of the beer by taking first a small sip, second taking a slightly larger drink and let the beer roll around in the mouth for a moment before swallowing and then drinking the rest of the beer as you like. Following this process allows one's tastebuds to get used to the flavors of the beer which will allow you to enjoy it more. And indeed these steps worked! I ended being able to enjoy all 8 of the various beers we were introduced to and infact think I will return home to seek some out - espeically the triples and sours! My sister was also very pleased with the tour and the information Christophe shared with us. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone - even (maybe especially) to those who think they don't like beer!Beer Convert!

We traveled from the US. Christophe was wonderful. He is a true beer connoisseur, knows Belgian history, and is very personable. Due to time constraints we did the 2 hour tour which was awesome. Though I would have liked the 4 hour tour, I still feel like we got a great taste for Belgian beer. Would definitely do again. Fun experience, highly recommend
