We ate, we drink, and we had such a lovely evening with Karman. We are still talking about the squid ink risotto at the first restaurant, which was divine.
Karman gave us a great recommendations for the rest of our trip and we had such a wonderful night learning about restaurants, and life in Dubrovnik and Croatia overall. I highly recommend booking with her.

It was the end of a very long travel day and we weren’t sure we would be able to stay awake for our tour. We had a lovely evening with Jadranka. She was very sweet and knew lots about the city of Dubrovnik. She was also flexible, allowing the men in our group to get beer instead of wine which was very much appreciated. The tour itself just wasn’t quite what we were expecting. We thought we’d be making three stops for different types of drinks and hotspots. It was more of a wine and tasting experience since we only stopped at two wine bars instead of 3 diverse nightlife spots. The boys in our group don’t drink wine so we never would have booked if if we knew that’s what the tour entailed. We did have a lovely time but it wasn’t what we were hoping to experience.Fun but not what we were expecting..

The best introduction to a City is sipping wine and getting to know someone from that city. Mia greeted us with the warmest smile and the friendship bond grew from that moment. Even before our trip, Karmen was organising the tour , asking for details so she could cater to everyone in our group of 11! She was so helpful with recommendations on what to do after the trip.

Tourist guide Zuzanna showed us around the beautiful Dubrovnik. I am very grateful to her for showing all the places that interest me. What an amazing time we spent with Mia! She is extremely knowledgeable, charming, and fun to listen to. We heard and learned so much. She provided an in-depth historic timeline and provided amazing insights and stories, even her personal experience of the war. We also enjoyed spending some relaxing conversation time with her in a restaurant, and she provided us with useful tips for restaurants and excursions. Karmen gave us a wonderful introduction to Dubrovnik perfectly tailored to children, and made sure I could bring the stroller for my youngest. Although my two girls were incredibly shy and didn't talk the whole time, all Karmen's commentary all went in and they were captivated. I have been amused to hear from my daughter's teacher that when she went back to school she educated her whole class on the history of Dubrovnik, the Saint, why there are cats etc. The school were impressed and I said it was our fantastic tour guide!
Karmen also took us into a fun Christmas shop, and to a handful of other stops including a great craft beer bar that made my husbands day, and also gave us great advice.

We had a five-hour walking tour exploring Dubrovnik’s history as well as a broad selection of the region’s typical food and wine. She adapted the tour to perfectly match our interests. We were on a cruise and Karmen’s tour was far better than those in other ports organized by the ship.
Karmen is extremely knowledgeable with respect to Croatia’s and Dubrovnik’s history, culture, and food and wine. She planned our itinerary to stay away from the hordes of tourists in Dubrovnik by taking us to off the beaten path locations—a beach, several small local snack bars, food markets, and a wine store and wine bar—to expose us to excellent food and wines we never would have experienced. The history and culture portions were also complete and interesting.
Karmen paced the tour to match our walking speed ( not so fast) and minimized stair climbing as much as possible.

Jardanka showed us Dubrovnik old town in a way that we could appreciate her town without being overwhelmed with history. She pointed out the less obvious things around old town away from the crowds. Her recommendations lead us to explore Lokrum island the following day which is a gem especially if you want to get away from the crowds and hike around the island. Mis was great about contacting us immediately upon our reservation and again shortly before we arrived. On our one day in Dubrovnik we met Mia and got her unique perspective along with some ancient and recent history of the city. She is very energetic and upbeat, intelligent and easy to talk with. We had an amazing private tour of Old Town Dubrovnik with Karmen. Karmen was friendly and knowledgeable. Karmen showed us cool lesser known spots in the Old Town, as well as all the main sightseeing spots. Karmen also offered helpful tips for our trips to Mt. Karmen is irrefutably one of the Best guides we have ever had in our travels. She was incredibly interesting, informative, and just so knowledgeable about everything Croatian and the surrounding area, not to mention just a really enjoyable, nice person.
