⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience We absolutely loved our Drinks & Bites in Dubrovnik tour with Karmen! From start to finish, she made the experience feel personal, relaxed, and truly unforgettable. The food was incredible—we tried traditional Croatian dishes like šporki makaruli and crni rižot (black risotto), along with anchovies and so many other delicious bites. Karmen guided us through each stop, expertly explaining the dishes and helping us choose just the right things to try. The local wine she recommended was out of this world—easily one of the best we had on our entire trip. This tour was the perfect way to kick off our time in Dubrovnik. We booked this for our first night in Dubrovnik to help familiarize ourselves with Old Town more quickly. Ramona was punctual and knowledgeable. She took us to three different places where we tried local bites and drinks. Over our next days in the city we revisted one of the restaurants and relied on much of the info she shared with us. We ate, we drink, and we had such a lovely evening with Karman. We are still talking about the squid ink risotto at the first restaurant, which was divine. We had a lovely evening with Jadranka. She was very sweet and knew lots about the city of Dubrovnik. She was also flexible, allowing the men in our group to get beer instead of wine which was very much appreciated. The tour itself just wasn’t quite what we were expecting. We thought we’d be making three stops for different types of drinks and hotspots. It was more of a wine and tasting experience since we only stopped at two wine bars instead of 3 diverse nightlife spots. The boys in our group don’t drink wine so we never would have booked if if we knew that’s what the tour entailed. We did have a lovely time but it wasn’t what we were hoping to experience.Fun but not what we were expecting..

Karmen was a truly fabulous guide for our family of 4, my husband and me, and a daughter aged 19 and son age 15. As we know, with the ubiquity of smartphones in teenager's lives, their attention span is short. Karmen managed to keep their interest the whole time. She is a native to Dubrovnik and knows both the historical and the more recent history of the area equally well. She even threw in some fun Game of Thrones sites, complete with stills from the show to compare with the actual area in real life. She made things relevant but kept it fun. Loved seeing the hidden gems too! Please keep in mind that it is HOT in the summer, so book tours early or much later in the day. Karmen was a GREAT guide!Perfect intro to a beautiful city!

This was such a great thing to do on our first day in Dubrovnik. Barbara was so personable, kind and full of the most useful and interesting stories about the city. We learned about its history, its people, its day to day life, festivals, best spots and things to do, idiosyncrasies and the hidden things that guide books or larger tours just wouldn't tell you. Barbara kept us oldies plus our 13 year old and 18 year old fully engaged (and even squeezed in an ice cream stop to keep energy levels up!). Her stories of her childhood and family life in Croatiia really brought things to life. Her stories and the memorial to the Balkan crisis and siege of Dubrovnik was truly moving. Karmen was super kind, accommodating (like when we went to the wrong meeting point and she met us), and knowledgeable. She gave great explanations tailored to the levels of understanding of each person in our family, (2 adults and two kids, 7 and 13) and tailored to what we wanted to learn about Dubrovnik. Restricting my review to just Dubrovnik is too limiting -- we just toured the Old Town and City Walls of Dubrovnik and it was magical! Karmen does an amazing job of showing the entire city, highlighting the deep and fascinating history and even weaving in the obligatory Game of Thrones stops in a great 2 hour tour. She's smart, engaging and helpful and the best guide I've had in any of my world travels! I would rate 100 out of 10 if I was allowed!BEST GUIDE IN THE WORLD!!!!

Karmen led our family on a 1.5 hour walking tour through the Old Town Dubrovnik. We have 3 young kids (10 year old twins and a 6 year old very energetic kiddo!) and she kept them engaged and happily answered their MANY questions!!! She was full of fun details about the city’s history and gave the adults fun facts about where Game of Thrones was filmed. She paid special attention to the hot weather, finding shade everywhere we stopped. Her recommendations for ice cream and pizza were on point!!
