We had a really great evening and learned a lot about the food, the way it is made and the culture. It was really nice to learn about local cuisine and skip te really touristy places. Long was very considirate and well mannered, answering even all our non-food related questions. We booked the tour with Long after reading all the great reviews and it did not dissapoint. We had a quick tour with Meng just after our arrival to Siem Reap and it was a lovely way to start the visit. The tour started in a location that was easy to find, Meng was there waiting for us, and we immediately started eating. We were concerned that we would have to go somewhere else to go eat after our "tastes", but we were full before the tour was finished and couldn't try the last tasting. The tuk tuk ride gave us a chance to see some parts of the city we probably wouldn't have visited, and Meng provided us with some interesting bits of information about the city. We met Chan just after sunset, and instantly knew we were in for a flavorful evening! Her passion for food and travel was palpable as she walked us to our first stop. She excitedly explained every single dish we tried, recounting to us the memories of eating these same dishes when she was young. We would never have experienced the dishes or markets we visited that evening. We finished with a divine tasting of all of the different fruit we had never seen or heard of. We had booked a night street food tour with Chan. Little did we know it was to be one of our top memories from a wonderful visit to Cambodia. Chan's communication, promptness, friendliness, knowledge and enthusiasm was second to none. On her request, we met earlier than anticipated. She took us to many culinary delightful spots that evening. (We suggest to share food with people in your group to be able to have room for all the culinary tastings that she takes you to. I will not tell you about the wonderful foods that we traveled around town by foot and on Tuk Tuks, but rather to let everyone know that Chan also goes the extra mile. In between courses, we found ourselves in a classroom of teenagers being taught English supported by the Buddhist monks. Chan would explain her views on the all the culture and social history of the country. The evening was never ever dull, in fact we all enjoyed each other's company that the night went way later than expected and when we thought it just couldn't get any better, we ended up meeting with her the next evening for a wonderful and fun evening spent with the Lady Boys. What fun!! I hope to return to Siem Reap one day and would book another food tour with Chan well in advance. She is a highlight!Fantastic Memories In Siem Reap With Chan

Long, the guide, did an excellent job as far as taking us to very local places for food. We went to a few spots were there were only Kmeh people which is always a great sign for authentic food. We also had excellent conversation with Long and learned about Cambodia and the local culture. I do have to take off one star because, although we liked and enjoyed the local cuisine, we didn't find it phenomenal like we did in Thailand. In all fairness, that could very well be a personal taste issue though. I would for sure still recommend this tour.Recommend for a true taste of local cuisine and great conversation with the guide about Cambodia and the culture.

Chan was lovely and made a great effort to tailor the streetfood tour to suit us. We had booked the tour weeks in advance and my husband had communicated to Chan that we were vegetarians. She made sure that each dish was unique, and that everything was suitable for our dietary requirements. Chan was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. During the course of the tour, I mentioned that I am an pescatarian and she went out of her way to take us to a fantastic stall for the local delicacy - fish soup! We really felt that we were taken to food stalls off the beaten track and that we really had a wonderful "local" experience.Great tour, great tourguide!

We had a great time eating out with Long and our tuk-tuk driver Va. Long kindly adjusted our itinerary to suit us. He showed us a variety of great food, and explained the facts and stories behind them. We really enjoyed the Cambodian noodles at Road 60, the jackfruit sticky rice dessert at the night market, and the milkfruit from the fresh fruit stall nearby. After a long day of travel, our 8 year old son fell asleep on the tuk-tuk soon after our tour started at 7.15 pm. We had 2 options - abandon the tour, or drag along a sleepy boy. Long offered something else - he made sure that Va's tuk-tuk is parked an arm's length from where we ate, so that our son can continue sleeping on the tuk-tuk while we ate. Va then came round the back of the tuk-tuk and fanned our son whilst he slept. We did not expect such care and kindness. We booked Long for another tour (Angkor Wat), and we certainly would look for him again next time. A wonderful night out

I had a private tour with CT because I was staying in Siem Reap only for a couple of days. I booked an evening food tour which had to start late due to my schedule. Nothing was a problem for CT, she had everything planned out despite the late start. She took me all over Siem Reap and I enjoyed 10 very unique and distinctive dishes. They were all absolutely tasty and to some places I even went back twice the following days. CT is full of enthusiasm, she loves food and loves being a guide. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her about food, Cambodia, the temples, and other general things. Her English is perfect and you’d to well to have her as food guide or temples guide. Her knowledge of the temples was very extensive and she gave me local and unique tips on where to go and what to see when visiting the temples. All in all, a true gem! Long took me on the Evening Street Food tour later that day. Since I was the sole traveller, Long offered that we explore the city on his motorcycle and travel like a local - an experience which I would never trade off for anything! Thank you Long! I have never been much of a street food person; in fact, travel advisories often tell us to steer clear of foreign street food to avoid falling ill during a trip. I can tell you that the stalls which Long have picked are perfectly safe, and wonderfully delicious. We've tried satay, Khmer noodles, Banh Chao, grilled fermented fish cake (I forgot the name...), and several others, including fruits and dessert. Long explained to me how each dish was cooked, the ingredients that were used, and the best way to eat them. This was indeed a perfect way to end an evening.Surprisingly Good Food!

Samnang was great at communication throughout the process. He's a trained tour guide with very good English which was a great blessing. The tour itself was designed in a manner that tool us to places I would probably not have ever visited on my own. Sam was very accommodating for my dietary restrictions (I am Muslim and can only eat Halal meat). I didn't anticipate the amount of food on offer and as a result could only sample the things on offer, which was my loss. Thoroughly recommend Sam as a guide, especially for Muslim visitors. Long is the man! He is VERY knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He told us the history of the different temples and was patient when we asked questions. Since he is a former school teacher, you can really tell he has a passion for teaching. In the morning, Long met us at our hotel on time and knew the best spot for seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Throughout the tour, he took great pics of us in scenic spots and his tuk tuk driver always had cold water available. He was a pleasure to talk to when traveling between temples and we learned about Cambodia and its more recent history. He gave us many good restaurants to try and even a recommendation for a private driver to Phnom Penh. We had a great day with Long at the Angkor Wat temples and during the sunrise tour. He gave us new insights into the temples by explaining the history and importance and was very kind and considerate along the way. Long knew all the great spots to take photos and offered to make plenty of them. He also gave great insight into modern day Cambodia and how the locals live by talking about his own experiences. Communication was easy through WhatsApp and he was on time on both days we were going on a trip with him. The tuktuk was also great, they always had cold water waiting for us whenever we left the temples (it was needed, it was very hot). We had the best experience of Angkor Wat solely because of our tour guide, Long. He is extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of not only Angkor Wat but also Siem Reap. I had a great tour of Siem Reap with Long. He was great about getting in touch early and shared so many interesting insights as we walked around the city. My focus was history and culture, so we visited two pagodas, walked along the waterfront, and he even guided me in making a small offering at a local shrine.
