Jose took us to a day trip in Dubai. We saw many shops in one day. It gave us a good idea what is Dubai all about. Sandy took us to a day trip to Abu Dhabi. The highlight of our trip was the Grand Mosque. Without Sandy’s guide, we couldn’t manage to see the place. It was so many people there. My wife and I took a layover tour with Sandy Nat on 18 January 2025. Sandy was very good in communicating with us prior to arriving. He monitored our arrival and met us at a convenient airport location. Having arranged it ahead of time, they were prepared to accommodate our luggage in their vehicle as we toured the city. They then dropped us at our departing terminal with ample time to check-in and pass thru security. Sandy was an excellent tour guide. He was patient with our questions and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city. We saw all the sights advertised and had several short walking tours. He purchased some local light street food for us to try and it was excellent. While Sandy was our tour guide, he had another partner who drove the vehicle, allowing us to walk areas and get picked up later. This maximized our time by not worrying about parking and back-tracking to the vehicle. We would highly recommend Sandy as your Dubai tour guide. Great tour of Dubai!

I texted with sandy and Gomez a number of times and they made me feel very comfortable that I would be in good hands. Unfortunately my trip was cancelled at the airport due to a passport issue and I didn’t get to meet them. Even though I did not meet their cancellation policy I think it would have been very hard to find anyone to make the cancellation or seek a refund. The trip was not cheap lol!If only i got to meet them!

I did a layover tour with Sandy in Dubai in May 2024 and really enjoyed it! There was clear communication prior to my arrival and Sandy and the driver were there when I landed. We went to several different landmarks in the span of 7 hours and Sandy was able to keep the conversation going all day, which I appreciated. For our first visit to Dubai, my wife and I wanted to do an individual city tour. During our search, we quickly became aware of Gomez and Sandy's interesting-sounding and highly rated tours. From the start, the contact was first class, very quick and super friendly. After we had described what we had in mind, we were suggested the tour "Dubai in a Day - Ancient & Modern city Experience", which actually suited us perfectly. Sandy was our guide and was accompanied by an excellent and very nice driver. The two of them picked us up from our hotel at the agreed time in a new and sparkling clean car and gave us a great impression of old and new Dubai over the next 6 hours. Sandy answered our numerous questions patiently and competently and reacted completely flexibly to our wishes. For lunch he chose a wonderful Arabic restaurant right on Dubai Creek for us (Bayt Al Wakeel), which is really recommended: great, inexpensive food and very friendly staff. If we had wanted to eat something else, that wouldn't have been a problem, as Sandy also offers food tours and therefore knows a lot of great restaurants. Folks, this is it, go with these guys. If you’re looking for a fantastic experience with warm, hospitable, and expert hosts, look no further. I took a 6 hour tour of old and new Dubai during a recent layover. Sandy was right there when I arrived, off to a comfortable private vehicle, and then an afternoon of seeing the sights, then back to the airport for my evening flight. Couldn’t have been better! Our 6 hour tour of Dubai during our 13 hour layover period was the best thing we could have done as nd exceeded our expectations! It was a bumpy start as a different tour guide and driver than announced got in contact with me at the airport. As I was a solo female traveller and it was my first time with withlocals.com I was a bit worried. But after this, the tour was everything you could wish for. Sandy (real name: Ikram Ul Haq) - not Sandy Nat - and the driver Ranju did their very best to show me the Highlights of Dubai. It was fascinating! Sandy answered all my questions and we had interesting talks about history, religion etc. Ranju was very friendly and gentlemen like opened my door every time we stopped for sightseeing. Vielen Dank für die tollen Eindrücke und Erlebnisse aus Alt- und Neu-Dubai! Alles hat toll geklappt. Sehr höflicher, lustiger und zuvorkommender Tour-Guide und Fahrer. Ich habe es nicht ein einziges Mal geschafft die Türe zum Wagen selber zu öffnen, immer hatte sie mir der aufmerksame Fahrer bereits geöffnet! Wir konnten in der Tour die Highlights aus Dubai an einem Tag sehen. Somit hatten wir die Informationen für die kommenden Tagen welche Punkte in Dubai wir genauer und ausführlicher anschauen wollten. From initial booking, communication was prompt and detailed, meaning an easy meet and greet with Sandy upon our early morning arrival at Dubai airport. The warm and easygoing nature of Sandy immediately set us at ease, and it wasn’t long before we benefited from the wealth of his knowledge of his home city. A whistle stop tour of all the major sights in the new city and marina as the sun rose, before heading to the old city for an abra ride across the creek and a tour of the souks. We had a great time with Sandy in the old part of Dubai and the souks. He was informative along our drive, answered questions, was super responsive to any and all requests. He made sure all the members of our group were taken care of -- and we felt so comfortable walking around. As a short stopover to continue flying, fully booked for a day to see as much as possible in as short a time as possible. The guide was fantastic… his knowledge, friendliness was phenomenal. There was also a car with a driver with air conditioning and drinks, so that we did not lose a second. We were also able to personalize the tour in consultation with the guide, who also thinks along. We even saw and did so much that we didn't get to the booked full day and added a few extra hours. The tour was phenomenal as a family with son. What we have all done are not only memories, but also these experiences are etched in our memory. We will definitely come back to Dubai.Memories for life.

I went to Dubai during Ramadan and I was really interested in seeing all the main tourist spots that Dubai has to offer (and there are a lot). I read the reviews of course of the different guides and I ended up going with Gomez & Sandy Nat. On the day of, Sandy Nat and Ranju (the driver) picked me up from my hotel and were extremely punctual. It was a fun filled day with seeing alllllllllllll the sites that you can imagine in both the older parts of Dubai which is so rich in culture and then the newer, "more hip" areas. I feel like I got SO MUCH out of this tour and it's a must for any tourist. Sandy Nat is funny and you feel like you're hanging out with your friend the entire day. He has a lot of enthusiasm, has a lot of knowledge that he shares with you along the way and of each stop, is so friendly and filled with excitement despite how many times he has probably done the same tour before. The tours I did with Sandy Nat, this one (Ancient & Modern City Tour) and also the Day Trip to Abu Dhabi are both the highlights of my entire trip. The request I had was ambitious: I was going to be in Dubai on a 21-hour layover and i not only wanted to visit the must-see sights but I also wanted a desert safari adventure. On top of this, I wanted to do this with a nap, shower and lunch baked in. AND I wanted the tour to be engaging, informative and adequately-paced for my son -- a 13-year-old traveling companion. Gomez and Sandy not only delivered -- but exceeded. Exemplary communication: I had reached out to several companies with my request. Gomez and Sandy were not only the quickest to reply but, in subsequent conversations, they helped me tweak my itenerary with logistics in mind. This doesn't mean I had to water down what i wanted to see. It meant they worked with me on the logistics to ensure I was able to do everything we wanted without diluting the experience. Incredibly informative tour: Sandy arrived in a very comfortable ride right on time. For the next few hours, he took my son and I to all the sights we wanted to see -- getting us through lines promptly, answering all the questions from a curious 13-year-old and offering not just facts and information but also trivia. He also knew the best photo spots, and was kind enough to snap the photos. Efficient handoff: For the safari portion of the tour, Sandy ensured that the tour guide was filled in on what we wanted to see and do. And here again, we got everything we asked for and much, much more. Here was our itenerary 5a: Arrived in Dubai airport 6a: Checked into hotel, napped, showered, had breakfast 9a: Sandy picked us up 9a-1p We toured Old Dubai Rode on an Abra on Dubai Creek Drove by the Gold Souk (We didn't want to visit, but you can if you want) Wandered through the Spice Souk Saw the Dubai Frame, the Grand Zabeel Mosque Posed for photos outside the Zabeel Palace Visited the Musem of the Future (but didn't tour it because that would take a while) Walked on Jumeirah Beach Stopped outside Burj Al Arab Visited The View at the Palm to get a bird's eye view of Palm Jumeirah (you pay extra for these tickets. Alternately you can just drive through and go to the Marina but then you don't get the view) Got dropped off at Burj Khalifa. (We had lunch reservations at At.mosphere, but you can also just go to the top. Both will cost you extra) Sandy then handed us off to Khadir for the desert safari where we : Dune bashed Sand surfed Walked through the desert Visited a camel farm Rode a camel Watched the sun set sitting on the dunes Visited a camp for dinner and activities (This whole seconf part takes six hours. We wanted to do it in four. Sandy made it happen, but we skipped the dinner and activites portion) The tour guide returned us back to the city, because we wanted to go atop Dubai Frame. But Sandy gave us detailed directions on how to get from the Frame to Dubai Mall to see the fountain show -- and then get back to our hotel. Finally, he checked in to see if we made it in on time and according to plan. I give this experience a 10/10Exceptionally good!

We had a long layover in Dubai and wanted to check out the city. Sandy picked us up from the airport early in the morning in a comfortable, clean van with an excellent driver. He was knowledgeable and informative, giving us an excellent introduction to the city in the short time we had. We had a great tour with Sandy. He and his driver (I can't remember his name) picked us up at our hotel and took us around modern Dubai. The car was A/C'd and comfortable, and Sandy didn't overwhelm us with information but just told us in bits. He had a lot of knowledge, but was very good at "reading" us and working out when we were zoning out. The tour itself was well organized and logical. On my recent trip to India I had a 10 hour layover in Dubai. My niece who is a flight attendant arranged this tour for me. I was very nervous at first but I loved being able to communicate directly with Sandy and Jose. They answered all of my questions within minutes. They gave clear instructions about how they would meet me at the airport and they were there exactly on time. I was also dropped off at the airport at the exact time we agreed upon. They were willing to cater the tour to include everything I wanted to see and I saw so many amazing things. We drove all around Dubai! It worked out so well having 2 guides, with 1 driving and 1 accompanying me when we stopped I was never left alone. I really liked the short boat ferry trip, the shopping, sampling camel ice cream, the marina, the indoor ski hill, the Burj Khalifa and the day time and night time images of the beautiful architecture. As a 65 year old traveller I was so reluctant to do this tour but I felt so safe the entire time. Sandy was so knowledgeable and I learnt so much about Dubai. I highly recommend that you tour with Jose and Sandy I know that you won’t be disappointed.So glad I did this!

My family of 4 had a day-long stoppver in Dubai and we did a 6-hour tour with Sandy. He is punctual, very welcoming, friendly, flexible and has great insider knowledge of Dubai. He knows all the great spots for photos with iconic Dubai landmarks and gave us good tips on where to buy the spices we wanted at a local prices. The car we used was spacious and comfortable and the driver was very attentive. Sandy made us want to come back to Dubai again to explore more…we never knew there was so much to see and do! We spent the day with Gomez having designed for us a custom itinerary. It was a great way to see the city in a short time, as we are only in town for a few days. Gomez met us at our hotel a few minutes earlier than our meeting time, with his driver and a clean, spacious and air conditioned car. Fantastic day spent with Gomez. We basically had one day in Dubai and wanted to see and do as much as possible. With Gomez's help, we agreed an itinerary which ticked all the boxes. We had an evening tour with Gomez which proved to be very enlightening. After spending some time getting to know him we realized what an inspiration he is and what a hard worker he is! He took us to all the main sight seeing areas but also took us to places only the locals go to, away from the tourist areas. We tried local food which was delicious. We were very comfortable in his vehicle. We stopped for photos in several areas and felt we saw all the main icons and interesting places in Dubai. Gomez gave us a lot of info as we were driving pointing out important landmarks and sharing the history of Dubai. He is very flexible and will try to accommodate your timeframe for the tour as well as work with you to plan the perfect tour for you. He speaks many languages and is still studying to improve himself. His work ethic is commendable. You will not be disappointed if you book a tour with Gomez! I chose Gomez because he had way more reviews than other guides, so I knew It would be a great experience. From the start, everything was pretty smooth: the logistics, information he gave etc. He showed me places I never thought I would see in my life. I find that I really enjoy the guides that I connect with on a personal level. Gomez was no exception, his story of how he became a tour guide is inspiring. It’s a story you must ask him about. We booked Dubai day tour. Jose customised it as per our need. Jose is very friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. He is well read. We learnt a lot about culture, history, local people and Dubai City. It was worth to understand background information about tourist attractions. He provided very good explanations and information during exploring gold and spice souk. Oh, one more point: He is amazing photographer:) highly recommended. Informative and worth of doing it

We did the full day tour and it is very recommendable. Mr gomez was very nice to from the beginning, since he picked us up at the airport. He took us to a very nice local kekab to have lunch, and his explanations were really good and you could see that he really loves the city. We did not use Mr. Gomez tour services because he emailed he had a fever the day before. Then he wrote another email on the day of the tour saying he would send his wife who also did tours. By then, we decided to make other arrangements for the day. We did not hire her services and she was exposed to whatever her husband had. We did not feel comfortable being exposed to some virus or infection since we were just starting a 3 week tour of Egypt and I was still recovering from a respiratory illness. It was unfortunate but we felt the best decision was not to go. Actually, we were very disappointed it didn’t work out because we were so looking forward to seeing the city with him.
