We traveled to Italy for our first time ever! We booked Dina for two tours in Florence. We love how flexible and informative she was in curating an itinerary for both days of our tours. The shorter tour we booked "Where the Locals Go" and she truly shared her favorite coffee shop, shops, and food places (and why they were her favorites) for example. On our longer tour we visited more historical places but every stop Dina had so much knowledge and insight to why and how those historic monuments/places came to be. My husband and I feel like we took an Italian history class in two days. Plus her English is excellent! More importantly she's truly passionate about her city and her love for it is imminent during her tours. Our experience started with great communication from the time of our booking. Dina was very attentive in responding to ensure we received her responses quickly so we could make our decisions and purchases as some attractions and times sell out. She provided full details of what to expect during the process on the bookings. Fortunately we booked well enough in advance that we were able to secure the tickets and times we wanted. As the trip approached, her communication continued. She coordinated our meet up location based upon where our tour started and the day before our tour communicated wonderfully on where and how to locate her. This turned out not to even be a search as she spotted us and approached unhesitatingly. She is an absolutely wonderful host in her city and started us off at one of her favorite historical coffee bars. Her knowledge and passion for her city and country is evident in her presentations during her tours. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience spending the day with her. Important!!! I hope I have your attention because giving 10/10 doesn’t do Dina justice. Dina went out of her way to engage our 17 year old niece during our 5 hour tour of Florence exploring and curtailing the tour to her interests! What an exceptional experience with Dina from initial booking through farewell. Dina immediately reached out to confirm our tour and asked about any special requirements (interesting for a 13yr old). She touched base in the days before our tour, including the evening before to remind us to have breakfast, bring water, etc. On the day of our tour it was 100+ degrees in Florence and Dina made sure to keep us in the shade, stop for breaks, and find the best shady spots. Her knowledge of Florence and its history is fantastic; she kept the stories interesting and engaged with our daughter throughout out the day. Dina was incredible! From our first contact, I felt I had a new friend in Florence. Myself, my husband and our 12 year old son booked a full day tour in Florence as we were visiting for the day from Rome. Dina was fun, friendly and knowledgeable about the art, culture and history of Florence. She was engaging and even kept my jetlagged 12 years olds attention. 4 hrs with Dina wasn’t enough and left us all wanting more! Dina was extremely engaging - thoughtful - and we loved her microphone - ear piece setup that made the day so easy to follow despite the “battlefield of tourists” we experienced at Uffizi and Academia on a Saturday. We learned so much - and she explained her favorite things that provided us a much deeper appreciation for key pieces of work from Michelangelo and other artists. Dina has a friendly exuberant personality. She is helpful and very knowledgable and we enjoyed our tour with her thoroughly. We did not have enough time to cover the Uffizi in depth so we were really bumped about it as we felt it would have been so much more beneficial if we had her insights on some of the more important artworks and paintings. It was really a lot of info to take in to be honest so I would recommend doing the Uffizi first when your mind is fresh and alert. Just my opinion. Also we had to climb the dome at a specified time slot so that ate away an hour of our tour time. A Passionate and friendly Guide

We were so fortunate to have Dina be our guide in Florence to visit the Accademia and Uffizi. My family of two adults, two sons (ages 14 and 10) had so much fun and learned a lot. Dina gives just the right amount of information to be engaging and insightful, but not so much that we were overloaded. She navigated the museums with ease (through the crowds), had headsets for us to all be able to hear, and suggested a great place for lunch. She also gave us a little info about what we would see in Rome, that helped us understand the connection of the art - so helpful! My family liked Dina the most of all the guides we had in Italy. My journey to get to our tour has taken 9 months. I am quite a planner and wanted something special in Florence as we have never visited and only had several days. I reached out to Dina. Over the course of heading into the new year, she messaged me and ask if we would like her to purchase the reservation for Accademia and Ufizzi. I thought that was so nice of her to ask. The closer we got to our tour, she was in contact. She planned the perfect tour for us....Accademia to see David, a wine/food stop in which she gave me two choices and then Ufizzi. I also asked her to meet us at our hotel and she gladly obliged. Our tour was to be 6 hrs. My husband does not appreciate museums so I did inform her of that. So the day before out tour, she reached out to make sure we had appropriate rain gear as it was to rain. She was right on time!! Accademia was amazing, then she took us to the market. What an unexpected surprise. We LOVED it! Then on to lunch then Ufizzi. She called us a taxi to return to our hotel. It seemed like it was only 2 hrs instead of 6. She was always asking about restroom stops or cafe. She was well tuned into the needs of her tour participants. I could go on and on, but if my husband can rave about a museum tour and love how warm, down to earth and knowledgeable Dina was, she has to be simply fantastic!! Thanks again Dina. Dina was one of the most wonderful guides we have had in over 15 years of travelling. She met us at the Accademia, gave us a great tour of the museum with just the right amount of history/detail. She was excellent at reading our group knowing if we needed a break, a coffee, lunch, more or less history as we did our 6 hour tour, offering us great recommendations for restaurants, other museums, sights to see etc. We sadly ended our tour at the Uffizi Gallery but wished we had more days in Florence so we could have spent more time with her.
