Donatella was an absolutely wonderful guide during our time in Naples. Warm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, she brought the city to life by weaving together fascinating historical details with modern stories. In just three hours she managed to show us so many highlights - from the home of Maradona and hidden Roman ruins to the birthplace of the Margherita pizza. Along the way, she pointed us to the very best spots for pizza, pasta, and gelato, and even took us to Popella to try the original fiocco di neve. As a thoughtful surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday, she treated us to the desserts herself - a gesture we’ll never forget. We felt safe, well looked after, and completely immersed in Naples thanks to her guidance. This walking tour exceeded our expectations. We saw a lot of the historic part of the city and Pima tailored our tour to our interests. We learned a lot about the history of the area and she even took the time for us to do some shopping. The food was great, and overall our favorite part was being able to really experience the city! Miriam was so friendly and welcoming to the city of Naples. We definitely felt like we experienced the culinary secrets of the city. We were provided with a wonderful selection of treats, both sweet and savoury. Some highlights were the mini mozzarella, pasta frittata and fried fish. The difference between a good tour and a great tour is the guide. This was a GREAT tour. Our tour guide Roberto was a joy to hang out with for 4 hours; walking around the streets, learning the history and stopping by a half dozen spots for vegan delights. The pizza was the best ever. Nino blends history, food, culture and fun. He was welcoming, warm and patient with our large group of adults and kids. He even chose streets for us to walk that would be easier for pushing a pram/ stroller. We loved our tour with Miriam. She was so passionate about her city, funny, chatty and full of life. We booked as a family of four. The children loved her stories and the fact that she listened with interest to all they had to say and answered ALL their questions. She had us tasting lots of food but also showed us some hidden gems of the city, told us about the history and made us feel right at home. My husband and I arrived in Naples without a plan. At the last minute I connected with Roberto via WithLocals and it was the best way we could have experienced Naples! Our group loved spending the whole day with Noemi! Right out of the gate, as soon as I made my booking, she was a fabulous communicator. She arranged everything! She hired a FANTASTIC driver, and made sure to accommodate every single whim and wish on our list. We traveled the Amalfi coast, stopping along the way for food and shopping. She made us feel like family, taking care of everyone’s needs and preferences. We had THE MOST AMAZING lunch, right along the side of the road, not a restaurant, simply a shop, she did all of the ordering and we had the best, most authentic meal! We were delighted. And then, we reached Pompeii; this is where Noemi SHINES. She knows everything about Pompeii, not only does she know how to navigate and narrate it perfectly, but she has developed an internal treasure hunt, and little games along the way keeping you fully engaged and in the spirit of exploration. We were a group of adults, but I can imagine this would be fantastic for kids too! Noemi is the whole package! Tell her what you want to see, and she will make it happen! Thank you, Noemi! Nino was a fantastic guide and gave a dollop of history and a full serving of food. He took us to several places that we wouldn't have found on our own and, as another reviewer said, took us to a place with the easily best mozzarella we've ever had. We also learned a lot about Neapolitan cuisine. Excellent tour! I was a lone traveler so it was just myself and Federica! The tour is the same price if you’re alone or a family but it was well worth it to me. I had limited time to spend in Napoli and wanted to make the most of it. She was very informative regarding the history of the area! You could tailor this tour to what you were interested in knowing and seeing. It was a well spent afternoon and I’m so glad I chose this. We went through local sights, local food market shopping, and neighborhoods I may not have discovered on my own. Being with a local was great! The food tour was great however we had a difficult situation arise. One of the guys in our group was not feeling well and found it difficult to walk. Frederica’s husband was our guide and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We went to a few spots and when it became evident that one gentleman couldn’t handle the whaling he brought all the food tour us so we didn’t miss anything.
