We had a great Verona tour with Andrea! He was very knowledgeable of Verona and its history. You could tell he loves talking about the Verona and did a great job of weaving in educational points as well as present day. He was able to keep of family of adults and high school ages kids entertained for the whole tour. After touring Juliet’s house he offered to take our picture from outside at the entrance while we were at the balcony. A nice touch. He also gave us a recommendation for a local place to eat that was amazing. Coming into the trip we were not sure if we needed a tour, but are so glad that we did. Andrea far exceeded any expectations that we had and we learned so much. Highly recommend Andrea and With Locals. Great Verona Tour!

Francesco was a really brilliant guide. He sat us down to start with and invited us to a coffee at a local cafe to ask what we would particularly like from our tour of Verona. That was a nice touch. Whilst Juliet's House was closed on a Monday and the terrace closed off for filming, this really didn't matter as there is so much to see and do. Francesco is so enthusiastic and passionate about Verona and gave us a very interesting and enjoyable tour of the highlights. My daughter and I schedule this day trip to Verona from Venice. We met our guide Francesco a the designated spot and he gave a an introduction to the history and culture of Verona before we started out walk. He was very knowledgeable on history, architecture fiction and facts. We strolled through the streets with many opportunities for photos and a stop a the coloseum and the market before heading to "Juliet's House". Francesco was warm, friendly, engaging with a huge depth of knowledge of the history and culture of Verona. He was able to make a small group tour interesting for adults and teenagers alike. He even managed to take in his stride our late arrival by 10 mins due to a parking problem we had when we arrived in the city. I would definitely recommend this tour. Andrea was an excellent and delightful tour guide in Verona. He met us at a cafe near the Arena and gave us an in depth background of the history of the city. He then proceeded to lead us in seeing all the city highlights. He was patient with our questions and the varying paces of our diverse group which ranged from 87 years old to 22. Not only did Andrea give us a comprehensive tour of the beautiful city of Verona but he ended by giving us many helpful suggestions for other places to visit in the vicinity, plus excellent restaurant recommendations. We originally booked a food tour but the host canceled. We ended up booking something different (this tour) with the request to add some food stops. The didn’t leave feeling confident and we tried to cancel the tour the day before but they wouldn’t accommodate us. Really disappointed especially after the original tour guide cancelled on us. Would not recommend with locals to anyone after this.Unable to cancel

Maria is a knowledgable and cheerful guide. We learned a lot. This tour is good for people who can’t walk a lot or walk long distances as many stories are shared sitting in the sun on a bench. Only downsides are she took several phone calls during our tour and we were never offered a drink or snack as advertised.

terrific tour. we only visited family run activities: a bakery, a local trattoria where the chef does all days his fresh pasta (we had the one with truffle ) AND A NICE VINERIA where we hada great introduction to the wine regions around verona. our guide Virginia was amazing. she knows a lot of the story, her city, wines and more. she gave us tickets fort the cable car, too. where there is a stunning view of the city. great dayvery local and tailor made tour in verona

We just returned from an amazing tour of the Verona area with Virginia and Sara as our guides. Their knowledge of all things Italian is simply perfect...history, local highlights of Verona as well as further away "things not to miss" in the Veneto region, making of Parmesano Reggianno, balsamic vinegar not to be believed all combined to make our visit unforgettable. Our tour guide was not available on the day, but sent another “Maria” in her place which was kind of her. Our Maria was an absolute delight from the moment we met her. We learned so much about the history of Verona, from the Romans to the families who influenced the culture and customs under various rulers and factions.
