We loved our family tour with Dina. She kept our 6 and 9 year olds entertained for the 2 hour walking tour. Dina is friendly and the stories she told us of Florence we would never have learnt about by ourselves. After hearing our girls liked art and craft she took us into a store where the lady showed us how they do marble paint designs. Then Dina took us to her fav gelato store! Michele was AMAZING. Super accommodating as we were late due to an unfortunate communication with our driver about which Piazza Della Republicia ….note - there’s more than one in Florence !!! We booked Dina for a walking tour of Florence on Monday 17 March 2025. She was an excellent guide, providing an overview of the city’s rich history, with insights into its medieval and modern art. Dina was the best tour guide we have ever had! She was so knowledgable and made the art and the history surrounding what we saw approachable and enjoyable. I would love to book her for several days just to take me around and show me art and tell me the stories behind them. She was WONDERFUL with our 9 year old daughter. Spending the afternoon with Marty at the Uffizi was like being with an old friend. She was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. She showed us the important paintings and the history of each one. We wanted to see the Caravaggios, which might not have been on her normal “route”, but she made it possible to show them to us. Dina was the best! We booked a Highlights and hidden gems tour in Florence for my husband and 2 kids 15/13. Dina was truly awesome. Communication was fantastic pre tour and during - she provided us with so many fun facts and interesting stories. (Ones you can’t google!) Incredibly personable and flexible with organizing the tour for us.
