This was our second tour with Nesreen and it was excellent. She helped us navigate this big museum and avoid the crowds. She gave us time to enjoy the exhibits and taught us a lot in a fun and interesting way. Nesreen was excellent with my teenage kids and very caring when one wasn’t feeling well that day and adjusted the tour to suit our needs. We explored the Pyramids of Giza during a 4 hours tour with Nesreen and had a great time. Ramses was charming company. Very knowledgeable about Islamic history but judged well how much information we could digest. He showed us some key historical highlights but balanced this with a walking tour of the markets and a stop for tea in a local cafe. He made sure we got back to our hotel safely. Nesreen is a total professional tour guide! We mixed up and went to the wrong meeting place for the start of the tour but she collected us and got the tour back on track! Excellent tour, Nesreen has excellent English and is detailed in her knowledge of Cairo its history, religions, politics, traditions and practices. For us she filled in a lot of the intricate background to the souks buildings, their functions and artisan trades; pointing out areas and things we would never spot and talking to traders we would not approach. We really enjoyed our half-day guided tour with Moustafa! We were a group of 5 adults and one 3-year-old child, and he catered extremely well to all of our needs and interests: he explained the history and mythology of the site, led us to less busy places and into a small tomb we would have never found ourselves, was always upbeat, personable and considerate and made sure that the child in our group had a great time too. At the end of our tour, Moustafa showed us a local lunch spot where the food was absolutely delicious — again, we wouldn't have found it on our own.Giza pyramids off the beaten track :)

TLDR: Tour with Ramses, it'll be the best decision you make. We had an absolutely amazing time with Ramses. From the beginning, everything was so easy. We were in Cairo for a week (2 adults & a 7-year old) and wanted to take our time seeing the sites. We contacted Ramses with our time constraints and interests, and together we constructed the perfect itinerary. Over five days, we saw the Giza pyramids, Saqqara & Dashur, Alexandria, Islamic & Coptic Cairo, the National Museum of Civilisation, Grand Egyptian Museum, Egyptian Museum, Khan El-Khalili Market, Muhammed Ali's Palace, and the Citadel. With his local knowledge, we avoided the crowds and were able to enjoy learning about Egypt without feeling rushed or crushed. Ramses is inspiring, friendly, warm, and easy to be around. His depth of knowledge is astounding. It was great learning about Cairo and watching our daughter love learning about Ancient Egypt. She hadn't wanted to go on the trip and by the end of the first day, she was fascinated! Beyond the tour, Ramses is an invaluable part of any Cairo trip. One of our suitcases was delayed in arriving to Cairo. Ramses was beyond helpful, calling the airport on our behalf, sending follow-up messages and adjusting our itinerary so that we could collect the wayward bag. He convinced our daughter to try new foods and go inside of pyramids (she was initially a bit scared). He is pure magic. Ramses arranged all transport and it was smooth, comfortable, and easy. Iman, our driver, navigated the traffic with ease and made visiting multiple sites in one day seamless and stress-free. Nana is a wonderful guide - a warm, empathetic and joyful person who made me feel instantly at ease. I am a woman and was travelling solo; she took great care to keep me safe during drop-offs and pickups, and allowed me to see a side of Cairo I would have been unable to access either alone or through a standard tour company. Moustafa didn't make me a tour in a traditional sense, but he took me to Giza pyramids to interview some travelers and tour guides there since I was writing an article about the tourism in Egypt as a journalist. Moustafa has a lot of friends at the pyramids since he has been making tours and excavating there for a long time and thanks to this it was easy to find interviewees. And besides making interviews, I was on the back of a camel for the first time in my life thanks to one of his nice friends. Our time with Ramses was nothing short of fantastic. His deep understanding of Egyptian history, combined with his ability to tell stories, made the ancient sites come alive.
