Weil das Museum am gebuchten Abend bereits geschlossen war, hat uns David kurzerhand angeboten, die Führung durch das Museum am nächsten Morgen nachzuholen. António was very pleasant even though we were late getting to our prearranged meeting. He was hired to take us around the Gulbukien museum. He was knowledgeable about Mr Gulbeckian’s life but told us nothing about what we were to see in the exhibits. He walked around with us but seemed to know nothing about the art. I felt we paid a lot for no information. The collection was wonderful and l was fascinated by the art nouveau jewellery which I didn’t know was there. It would have been interesting to hear about the designers.

Our tour was supposed to be a museum tour but it turned out that the museum was closed. Diolo, being the skilled tour guide and beatboxer that he is, thought quickly, improved and offered us options on what we could do as an alternative. He took us on a tour around Lisbon that gave us some of the old and new sights that showed us what makes Lisbon the vibrant city that it is. Occasionally displaying his hype beatboxing skills, Diolo’s love for Lisbon and exuberant energy made our detour one of a kind! We had a fantastic day with Andre. Great e bikes in excellent condition with nice helmets. There’s an excellent bike path along the waterfront. We were glad that we had André to guide us, as there are some tricky transitions. We rode out to the tower of Belem and André pointed out all of the key sites. He has a superb knowledge of history, culture and the ins and outs of Lisbon. He also gave us. Get lunch recommendation. We felt like we learned a lot, got some nice exercise and enjoyed the beauty of the town. On top of it all, he is a really nice and friendly guy. We loved the history content but were surprised with wine and food part . Normally we do just a history group walking tours ( free sort of ones if available) . We only had 3 nights in Lisbon, with one day spent in Sintra we decided to have a private tour covering all aspects of local culture. We totally enjoyed the history part but I thing the food /wine part is guided by the Company guidelines and it wasn’t what we expected for 250 euros . The lesson - don’t assume - ask , I mean ask about what food , wine experiences have been planned. If it’s private it should be tailored to some extent to your liking. We only visited two places and neither did wine testing . First place ( like a milk bar in Australia) offered a sweet white wine out of the 4 L cask .. not something we would drink plus my husband doesn’t drink white wine at all ( sulphate issues). Second place - lunch in a local tavern . Food was nice but it wasn’t tasting as we only had 2 dishes .. and a bottle of red covered with a brown paper .. not sure why but it was a nice wine . Desert was a take away .. yes pastels de nata , yummy of course:) So looks like the Company gives quite low budget do the guides for the food and wine as it’s far from to be called tasting and the price is over the top for what you get . My price value rating is based on the food / wine part as the history only tours are worth 20-50 euros per person in the group setting . For the private tour - the question is what would you like / dislike is what anyone would expect . For the history/ culture knowledge we would give Alphe - 10 ! He was amazing! Great guide but questionable company

This 3-hour walking tour was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon. It is the perfect way to get the lay of the land once you get to Lisbon. Our guide, Sonia, was delightful and knowledgeable, and because she has a travel blog and TV travel spot, she is the ideal guide. For 3 hours she shared the history of Lisbon and stories about well known sites, as well as hidden treasures. She even bought us pastel de natas and cherry liqueur along the way! By the end of the tour, we felt that Sonia was a personal friend, and later she even helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. We give this tour, and Sonia, our highest recommendation!Fabulous tour

After finding I had a day free in Lisbon, I was lucky enough to book a last minute tour with Inez! She even offered to change the meeting place to make it easier for me walking there. A delightful experience. It is wonderful to experience her enthusiasm about Portugal and its history. She went Above and beyond to check the cleanliness of a public toilet before we used it- I would never even think of asking someone do that! Sunday am was perfect with less crowds. A savoury treat at my request site the pastel de nata are so addictive. Inez spontaneously shared her amazing singing at one point. Since she’s a professional- big surprise- it was so lovely! She recommended some other spots- Belem - and showed me where to catch the tram.that a must do was trying the pastais de Belem! Done, and delicious! A perfect day! Unexpected delight to tour with Inez!

Veerle heeft de voorbereiding van ons dagprogramma en de ontmoetingsplek perfect geregeld. Veerle reageerde snel en goed op onze vragen vooraf over bijvoorbeeld tips restaurants. Dat was heel fijn. Veerle was netjes gekleed en we vertrokken op tijd via de trein naar Sintra. Vanaf het begin tot het einde was ons contact met Veerle prettig en relaxed. Veerle is een open mens en oprecht belangstellend. Zij vertelde ons veel waardevols over Portugal, Lissabon, Sintra en de mensen die daar wonen. We hebben een prachtige dag met haar beleefd en we bevelen haar als gids zeker aan. Een eerlijk oordeel geven over de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vinden we lastig. Een dagtour met een privé gids was voor ons namelijk de 1ste keer. Wat ons hierbij zou helpen is een specificatie van de opbouw van de totaalprijs van 400 euro. Bijvoorbeeld de verhouding tussen de overheadkosten en het salaris van Veerle.Een prettige gids met waardevolle info

Andre guided my wife and I on an e-bike tour with a stop at a local lunch spot. Andre was very knowledgeable and his love for history and storytelling was a highlight of the trip. We also really enjoyed the local restaurant he selected and he guided us through the menu selecting several items that locals would eat. We would have been less adventurous without his help. Good morning, On Monday, June 2, we participated in a 3-hour walking tour in Lisbon with your company. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the experience and feel it did not align with what was advertised. The tour lacked the depth and substance we were expecting. There were no meaningful talking points or historical insights shared, and we didn’t stop at any locations for further explanation or context. It felt more like a basic walk with brief identifications of buildings rather than an engaging, informative experience. To be candid, we believe we would have received more value from a complimentary walking tour, which is quite disheartening given the investment we made.
