We were under the assumption we would divide our 3 hours between the Louvre and small amount in Notre Dame. We spent all the time at the Louvre. In addition, we were given the option to reimburse her for reserved tickets that included a cruise, which we couldn’t use. Over priced, would prefer to go to Louvre, get audio and move at own pace.Mediocre…

You get a lot of new insights with this truly knowledge and elegant guide. Our tour to the Louvre and surroundings was due to our request just a three-hour tour in the Louvre. We saw a lot, still just a small part of the museum. Since we are interested in art and not scoring tourist points, we skipped the Mona Lisa. But we saw many masterpieces from different time periods. We also visited a quieter part of the Louvre, the French painters that you do not find in other museums. That got us also insight into French history and court life. So, we learned a lot due to our extremely knowledgeable guide Sophie. She is really a lady, smartly dressed and beautiful. She was also considerate and flexible. This was important to us since my wife do not walk very fast and uses two sticks. So, I can really recommend Sophie and the tour. Get new insights with this knowledge guide

Julien was amazing! He was easy to get ahold of. He made sure we knew where to meet and discussed our interests before the tour. We had a three hour Louvre tour with Julien and it was the best. I don’t know if we would have been able to see and understand all of the art without his expertise. He met us at the carousel outside and stayed with us until we had a taxi to our next adventure. Going to the Louvre without a private guide is a terrible idea and Bibiana was an excellent person to lead us through this labyrinth of a museum. Without her, the sheer size of the place and the large crowds would have made for an unpleasant and frustrating experience, especially for our 14 year old son. Her ability to skip the entry line was enormously beneficial during such a busy time at the museum. She was able to tie together the art we saw in a comprehensive and understandable way so that we truly understood what we were looking at and were able to appreciate it fully. Chrystelle was able to make the best out of a tricky situation and although our guided tour could have been a disaster, it ended up being even better. Unbeknownst to all guests of the Louvre on the day we booked our tour, the museum was closed to the general public until the afternoon, so when we showed up to start our tour, the Louvre was letting all morning tickets enter. We ended up seeing other sites near by, all the while learning abt the history of the louvre and the city. After the lines had died down, we then hit the highlights of the museum. Chrystelle is smart, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We would book another tour with her again for sure! Great Tour

Sophie was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the Paris strikes caused the Louvre to open a bit later, so she had us meet later by Notre Dame and we spent an hour outside the Louvre that would have been better spent inside. Once we got through the line, she was able to take us to see quite a bit, but left us as soon as her time was up. For $90 plus the tickets which we had to pay to her on top of the charge (17 euros), I’m not sure I would book this private tour again. It was very expensive for the service we received, and it did not include the actual tickets to the Louvre.Lourve Tour

We had a limited amount of time in Paris and knew we wanted to see the Louvre. Booking with Chrystelle was the best decision we made. As an Art Historian, her knowledge was invaluable and the hours we spent with her were fun and educational. We started with a walking tour around the Left Bank which included Notre Dame and although we could only view it from the exterior, we were able to learn the history of it as well as the ongoing restoration. At the Louvre we learned so much more about the history of the building as well as the art and paintings inside than we ever could have learned on our own. I had one day in Paris and was looking to see as much as I could in a short period of time. Marie’s approach to the tour was excellent, as she gave me a chronological tour through the Louvre starting with Greek sculptures, to Roman sculptures, to religious paintings, the transition from pure theology to artistic technique, to the French Revolution. She gave me a great overview of French history along the way. We then went to the Notre Dame cathedral. We booked Julien through a referral from a friend and this was easily one of the best things we did on our honeymoon. Julien was amazing. He made the Louvre feel personal, approachable, and honestly kind of magical. I’m not an art expert by any stretch, but he made everything feel interesting and easy to understand. The way he told the stories behind the paintings and sculptures really brought them to life. We didn’t have a direction or focus we wanted and entrusted our experience to him. He also picked up on the fact that we were on our honeymoon and added these thoughtful touches throughout the tour. He pointed out romantic pieces, shared cool little hidden spots, and just made the whole experience feel tailored to us. It didn’t feel like a tour, it felt like walking through the museum with a super knowledgeable friend who really cared about making it memorable for us. We wanted to book a tour to make the most of our Louvre experience both for us and our children aged 11 and 13 rather than be overwhelmed with such an huge collection of art and the crowds. We are not art experts and wanted to have a tour guide help us to get the most from the experience and enhance our understanding and appreciation of the amazing and notable pieces on display. We weren’t sure booking a group tour would keep them engaged and give us what we were after so we opted for a personal tour with Bibiana. We found Bibiana to be warm, friendly and fun and in our time together she covered the early history of the Louvre when it was a palace showing us the old foundations and taking us back in time in the history of France before helping enlighten us on the evolution of Greek and Roman sculptures and art. Both my husband and I felt Bibiana gave us a whole new appreciation for the more famous pieces by classical masters and by the time we parted we felt like experts and could admire the art in a whole new way. We appreciated that Bibiana also made sure to engage our children asking them questions and pointing out aspects to them throughout the tour as well. We were able to skip the line to enter through an alternative entry which was also a bonus and time saver given we visited during the Summer when crowds are at their peak. Overall I definitely felt touring with Bibiana enhanced our overall Louvre experience. A fantastic Louvre experience

We had a wonderful tour with Emilie! She was so friendly and knowledgeable and kept our jet-lagged group of 4 engaged throughout our two hours. We knew we would be tired after an overnight flight and wanted to see the highlights of the museum (Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Venus de Milo, etc.), and she showed us all of those and more.
