Emilie was great at communicating before our visit about meeting and tickets. She kept us on schedule and showed us a large variety of the collection in only 2 hours which I know we could not have done on our own. She also was informative about the art without being dry. She also took us to the gallery we wanted to visit after our tour was over to make sure we didn’t get lost. I would book with her again. Great morning at the louvre

Bibiana was a great communicator. She helped us navigate everything and we didn't have to wait in any of the lines. Since this was our first time, she started by explaining the building's history itself and how it came to be a public museum, which was really interesting. Then we covered three main areas and periods of work. Two hours is not terribly long but we got through a lot of things and it made it so much more enjoyable than if I had wandered around myself unsure of why I should be interested in different pieces. Lovely first experience at the Louvre

We hired Hugo for a tour of the Louvre in January 2024 and found him to be extremely knowledgeable, very interesting, funny, and just a bit irreverent in the best possible way. This January we had friends visiting with us and since we had such a great experience the year before, we hired Hugo again. All of our friends agreed, Hugo makes such a large museum as the Louvre completely approachable, covers all the highlights with wonderful anecdotes and histories and leaves you at the end of the tour with insights and a plan for the remainder of your museum visit. Bibiana was excellent and prompt with all communication, very knowledgeable about the Louvre, art history, etc. She was very nice and helpful throughout preplanning and the tour, she made all members of our group comfortable from baby in stroller to adults. I can’t fathom doing the louvre without a private guide, it’s so insanely crowded and huge, even just entering is an ordeal, but not with Bibiana. She knew just how to move us through the crowd and skip the lines and navigate the huge museum. She also helped us to understand why the most famous pieces are famous and really expanded our knowledge of the renaissance. Thank you! Great tour, wonderful guide.

We booked Lucien for our visit to the Lourve, and we definitely found the right person! We were late and Lucien was able to get us in quickly which was amazing! He was very enthusiastic about everything in the Lourve, our 2.5 hours tour was way too short! Lucien gave us a very interesting and informative tour which was exactly what we were looking for! My daughter is 11 years old and she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Lucien was very easy going, he was happy to show us the sections that we were more interested in (which was not in the itinerary). We just returned from a vacation in Paris. It was a family of eight ages 7 years old to 78 years old. We had a fantastic time with Bibiana. She was so knowledgeable and accommodating to our family. Due to the younger one could easily be sidetracked and the older ones could easily get tired, but Bibiana was fantastic in keeping everybody engaged and teaching us so much. It was also very nice that she knew her way around the Louvre and was able to get us a locker for our coats and skip the lines. She knew the great spots to see and view the very interesting pieces. I would highly recommend her, and her English is very good and easy to understand. Absolutely no negatives regarding this experience! Perfect Guide for the Family!

Hugo was a delight from start to finish for everyone in the family. We’ve toured with many private guides; Fernanda is among the best. She is not only extremely informative but so enthusiastic. She welcomed every question; whenever we showed interest in an object we were passing on the way to elsewhere she stopped and gave a full explanation. She was a lot of fun, too, and so friendly. When you had Hugo's attention he did a great job and is clearly passionate about the subject material. We did however book a 2 hour tour and it felt like he really needed to get back to something else. He was only slightly late but then separated for 15 minutes while going into the museum (perhaps it makes more sense to meet in the lobby after security). Then we rushed through the highlights which ended with just over 20 minutes left. I mentioned a desire to continue for the 2 hours and get explanations on other paintings in the grand gallery but wasn't getting through. In all we paid a considerable sum for what turned out to be a hour and half tour and the value is just not there.Tour of the Louvre

Julien was great, but, I wish I hadn’t allowed him to convince me to take my daughter to the Louvre instead of the Orsay. The Louvre is crowded and overwhelming. They opened 1.5hrs late, which was absolutely not his fault, but the we were forced to do a turbo tour making it much less enjoyable. It burned out my daughter on museums. She normally loves them and will spend hours in them, but although she said she enjoyed the tour, I couldn’t convince her to go to another museum after. The tour guide was great, we just didn’t have a great experience with the Louvre. I prefer the Orsay. Less crowded and I find the impressionists more fun.Great guide
