Communication with Julien prior to the day of the tour was great! He kept us informed of all of the important details, including the place to meet him on the day of the tour. He purchased our admission tickets to the Louvre in advance, and was waiting in the line to enter the museum before it opened. Once it opened we very quickly made our way to see the Mona Lisa and it gave us a great view before the crowds arrived. He continued yes to point out the highlights of the Louvre and explained a lot of detail in the paintings to really help us understand the artists perspective. It was a fantastic way to see the highlights and avoid the crowds and lines as much as possible. Great Louvre Tour

We had an enjoyable morning at the Louvre with Bibiana who is an expert in Renaissance Art. We started touring from the foundation of the Louvre understanding how the palace turned into a great museum before maneuvering between the most iconic exhibits of the Louvre. Bibiana's narratives was simple and precise. As a painting expert, she did not just throw out a bunch of information but instead she weaved a historical picture of how painting styles evolved and how an amateur could understand the story and thus appreciate each artwork. My family and I had a memorable two hours with Fernanda seeing the highlights of the Louvre. We loved her positive energy, her storytelling, and her knowledge of the Louvre and its works of art. Our family benefited greatly from Fe’s knowledge and expertise in art history. When we were greeted by a strike at the Louvre at the beginning of our scheduled tour with Fe, she didn’t miss a beat and used the opportunity to give us an outdoor tour of the grounds and surrounding areas, along with in-depth explanation of French history and the museum. Later, when we were allowed to enter the museum, Fe made up for lost time by bringing us on a whirlwind tour of the highlights of the museum, including the Mona Lisa to the immense delight of our youngest family members. Paola and her tour were ah-mazing! We toured the Louvre with her and her knowledge about so many pieces, the building itself, the artists, literally everything, was exceptional. She also came equipped with listening devices for each of us to wear in one ear so that we could hear her even if we were a little distance away. The Louvre is very crowded and loud, and these devices saved the day. Plus I wouldn't want to miss a word she said because it was all so fascinating.Exceptional

We had an awkward start through no fault of Emilie’s. The Lourve opened an hour late and there was at least a couple thousand people in line. Emilie kept us comfortable and entertained. She also helped keep our spot as second in line while countless other groups tried push their way to the front or “make friends” at the head of the line. Once inside Emilie gave us a wonderful tour and even spent extra time with us to make up for the late start. Highly recommend her!Emilie is the best!

Thank you so much Emilie for our fantastic tour of the Louve! We can't rave enough about Emilie and are so thankful we booked the Louve with her. We didn't give her a "must see" list of art to see, we are experienced museum goers so we left it to Emilie to show us her version of the Louve. We spent a fair bit of time learning to history of the museum itself rather than running from one masterpiece to the next and are we the better for it! There is a vast part of the original medieval fortress that predates the museum that many people miss. We learned all about it and so enjoyed this part of the tour! After teaching us the history of the Louve, we did see several "must see's" as well. I also wanted to visit the Couture Exhibit and Emilie made sure we knew exactly how to get to the beginning of that show. We could not be happier with her and highly recommend Emilie as a guide! Bibiana was a great communicator. She helped us navigate everything and we didn't have to wait in any of the lines. Since this was our first time, she started by explaining the building's history itself and how it came to be a public museum, which was really interesting. Then we covered three main areas and periods of work. Two hours is not terribly long but we got through a lot of things and it made it so much more enjoyable than if I had wandered around myself unsure of why I should be interested in different pieces. We hired Hugo for a tour of the Louvre in January 2024 and found him to be extremely knowledgeable, very interesting, funny, and just a bit irreverent in the best possible way. This January we had friends visiting with us and since we had such a great experience the year before, we hired Hugo again. All of our friends agreed, Hugo makes such a large museum as the Louvre completely approachable, covers all the highlights with wonderful anecdotes and histories and leaves you at the end of the tour with insights and a plan for the remainder of your museum visit. Bibiana was excellent and prompt with all communication, very knowledgeable about the Louvre, art history, etc. She was very nice and helpful throughout preplanning and the tour, she made all members of our group comfortable from baby in stroller to adults. I can’t fathom doing the louvre without a private guide, it’s so insanely crowded and huge, even just entering is an ordeal, but not with Bibiana. She knew just how to move us through the crowd and skip the lines and navigate the huge museum. She also helped us to understand why the most famous pieces are famous and really expanded our knowledge of the renaissance. Thank you! Great tour, wonderful guide.

We booked Lucien for our visit to the Lourve, and we definitely found the right person! We were late and Lucien was able to get us in quickly which was amazing! He was very enthusiastic about everything in the Lourve, our 2.5 hours tour was way too short! Lucien gave us a very interesting and informative tour which was exactly what we were looking for!
