Excellent walk and talk on the development of German architecture in Berlin. It’s not an art tour but a talk about each of the buildings and the overall model of Berlin in the Markisches Museum is fascinating. Boys is knowledge and warm hearted. I can't recommend this tour enough, Boyd was informative and helpful. The tour was for 4 hours, the time passed very quickly. The tour covered WW2 and general history as we walked around the city. During the rest of our stay in Berlin we were able to use the information Boyd told us to make the most of the time in the city so interesting. Its a complated city and Boyd really helped us understand it. 10 out of 10 from us :-)Great tour

We booked Michèle through a word-of-mouth suggestion and it was a great call. Michèle was exactly the right blend of knowledgable, relaxed and helpful. She didn't rush, she listened to our needs and preferences and tailored our tour so well. It was much more like being with a friend than a "tour guide". Not knowing Berlin really at all we were slightly apprehensive at the prospect of biking in a big city, but it was perfect - most of the tour is not on busy streets, and even the busier bits were relatively calm. Lee was very knowledgable and generous with his time. We took the kick start tour and off-the-beaten-track. Lee was happy to tailor things to our requests and introduced us to many ideas and sights we would otherwise have missed. It was a very short visit for us and we definitely got a lot more from the trip because of Lee’s input. Boyd was everything we hoped for. We wanted him to go the extra mile and he did. It was a tour outside the box. He gave us a glance of what east Berlin looked like. He knows just about every building and its history. We had a very enjoyable drink with local brewers since we’re Belgian and beer has very little secrets for us. He let us see the more urban side of Berlin since we were already a few days in Berlin and had seen the more typically tourist attractions already. Very much a plus is the fact that he is Canadian and thus a native English speaker which made it very easy to follow his English. We recommend Boyd for everybody who is looking for a tour outside the box although we are convinced that Boyd can make an adventure of about just anything. As a history teacher he tells the story of Berlin with a lot of respect for the city and its inhabitants. Half a day spent with Boyd makes him a friend rather than just a guide.Boyd went the extra mile

This was my first time in Berlin and I didn’t choose the tourist highlights although even on this ‘off the beaten track’ tour there were large groups of tourists going through these areas. Miha was very knowledgeable and helped orient me to the area and point out the street art. We had a beautiful sunny spring day to explore Berlin and I appreciated the artisanal coffee shop he took me to. The only downside was that he arrived late and could have been better at communicating this to me. He did answer quickly once I messaged him on the app. Great street art tour

Spent a wonderful day with Seth visiting the house where the Wannsee Conference was held, then we went to see the KGB Prison at Leistikowstraße, and finally walked through Potsdam, visiting the Dutch Quarter, having lunch and hearing great stories about WW2 and the Cold War. Seth helped us plan our day and set our itinerary around what we suggested and then made his own recommendations so the logistics of our travels made sense. He is well versed and personable and an an overall great guy. My 15 year old son said our day with Seth was the highlight of our trip to Berlin. Reach out to Seth and schedule a day with him. This was the best way to get to know Berlin on our first trip to the city. Pablo showed us the big sights, but took us to less well known places that we would not have otherwise visited.
