My 14 yo grandson and I loved our tour with Seth. He told so many pertinent stories to our discussions on what happened in Berlin in WWII and showed us many photos of the original buildings that we discussed that were no longer there. We definitely got what we paid for and more - Seth showed us the Jewish Quarter, many beautiful memorials, talked about the damage that occurred as the Soviet’s arrived, told stories about many events during the war, and captivated us for the entire morning. The tour was well paced (including a stop at Starbucks for some sustenance for my grandson) and the rain didn’t stop him or us for a minute - in fact we hardly noticed it was raining (not!). On a special note, I asked Seth about Jazz clubs as this is a special interest of ours and he went above and beyond, doing research and giving us a list before arrival. I’ll call Seth again the next time we are in Berlin!! So many stories

Tiago took us to six different places, spaced out over three hours. The tastings were so varied and all very good except we didn’t care for the currywurst. We understood that is a typical German street food. We highly enjoyed the rest though. Tiago was a great guide and even helped us with the Bahn route back to our hotel. Firstly, Boyd, unfortunately, was unable to make the tour but he contacted me a week before to explain the situation and that he had kindly rearranged the tour with Juan. Contacted Juan and he kindly arranged to pick us up at the agreed time, from our hotel. Juan was absolutely amazing, took his time explaining the amazing, complex and incredible history of Berlin from WW2 and how WW2 shaped the future of this city up until when the wall came down. The tour was 4 hours and we walked over 10km but take my word for it, it was truly amazing and the time flew by. What an amazing story and Juan told it perfectly. We came away from the tour amazed, enlightened and at times absolutely shocked at some of the wartime stories. I’d told myself I’d return to Berlin once all the pandemic stuff settled down, and I finally made it back in October 2022. Alex really knows his way around the city. He was flexible and accommodating when my cousin and I had some last-minute changes, which we really appreciated. Even though this was my third time in Berlin, there was still plenty I hadn’t seen. We got a great view of the city from a hilltop and popped into a second-hand bookstore that had tons of charm. Alex’s humor and energy really brought the experience to life. I can't recommend this tour enough, Boyd was informative and helpful. The tour was for 4 hours, the time passed very quickly. The tour covered WW2 and general history as we walked around the city. During the rest of our stay in Berlin we were able to use the information Boyd told us to make the most of the time in the city so interesting. Its a complated city and Boyd really helped us understand it. 10 out of 10 from us :-)Great tour

We booked Michèle through a word-of-mouth suggestion and it was a great call. Michèle was exactly the right blend of knowledgable, relaxed and helpful. She didn't rush, she listened to our needs and preferences and tailored our tour so well. It was much more like being with a friend than a "tour guide". Not knowing Berlin really at all we were slightly apprehensive at the prospect of biking in a big city, but it was perfect - most of the tour is not on busy streets, and even the busier bits were relatively calm.
