We had an outstanding experience with Victor as our tour guide for the Prado Museum for our family with our 2 children aged 9 and 12 years old. We have taken many private tours of many major museums in Europe, and he was the best guide we’ve ever had. The best part was his genuine enthusiasm for his work, as if it was the first time he was giving the tour, even though I know he surely has given it countless times before. Sometimes tour guides can seem bored and tired, but not Victor. He messaged me soon after I booked the tour and asked if there were any special interest our children had; I thought that was a nice touch and showed he was preparing a specifically for our tour. He made sure to keep our children involved and engaged and would try to find aspects of the paintings that our children would enjoy. He never seemed in a rush for it to be over, and again the best part is that you could tell he enjoyed his work and was passionate about the art. Prado Museum is our favorite museum, where we had been several times, but this time was very special, we had an amazing cicerone that gave us a different view of the museum. Iker was very professional and interested in making a personalized tour for us, asking in advance our interest and preparing a very intimate and personal tour through the painting that really interest us. He is a very charismatic personality with a good knowledge of the works in Prado, and gave us very interesting explanations of the paintings and the history which make our journey in Prado very rich and interesting. Maria provided Ana amazing experience for our family at the Prado. Iker is an amazing tourguide! He has incredible knowledge about the different art pieces, the artists and the epochs. He managed to explain it in an easy and understandable way. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Iker as our guide. He provided us a great experience at the Prado, and used every bit of the two-hour tour to open our eyes to the exhibits in a way we would not have been able to do on our own. We arrived at the meeting point a bit early at and right at the appointed time Govi showed up. Our group was made up of 2 who had never been to the Prado, 1 who visited once prior and this was my 4th visit. She asked if there were things we wanted to see and then explained how she was going to take us through the chronology of the art in the Prado. She started with areas I had never seen and shared the artistic style and historical relevance. She brought out information and insight to paintings that I had casually passed by in my previous visits and showed they really were...works of art. She was a magnificent guide.WOW!
