Bartek gave my 14 yo grandson and me a fantastic tour of Main Square, Wawel Castle, and the Jewish Quarter for most of the day. His knowledge and story-telling ability of the history of Krakow and especially what occurred during the period leading up to WWII was very broad and spending the day with Bartek was a pleasure. The pace was perfect, he chose a great restaurant for a quick bite, and we gained an excellent understanding of Krakow and the history of Poland. My grandson and I highly recommend Bartek if you are looking for a well-paced and informative day! Fantastic!

With Aleksandra as our guide, our family had a memorable tour of the Jewish neighborhood and Schindler’s Factory museum. Aleksandra handled all the entrance details so that we had no waiting or delays during the tour. More importantly, Aleksandra was a compelling narrator for the tour. She combined her expert historical knowledge with a tone of deep respect that made the tour educational and emotionally moving. Our 15-year-old grandson commented that Aleksandra made him feel connected to the history and the people. We all agreed. She personalized the tour. She was truly a guide to a history we should never forget. Highlight of our stay in Krakow

We fully enjoyed the tour with Tomasz.. he is very knowledgeable about the history of Poland during WWII in general and Krakow in particular, so he could guide us through those years, emphasising the important events impacting Krakow in an ‘entertaining’ way, to make it accessible. Tomasz is an excellent communicator and storyteller, which really takes you back to this period. Btw, the museum is really worth a visit, it has been designed in a modern and immersive manner, but without a guide like Tomasz, you risk missing a lot of the ideas behind it.Very interesting… and entertaining

We had a very interesting tour with Bartek through the jewish quarter, the area of the jewish ghetto and the Schindler factory. He was very friendly, accommodating, and a wealth of knowledge. Going through the factory museum with Bartek made the experience much easier than reading all of the displays ourselves considering how many people were there. He stopped and explained the exhibits and answered questions as we went which was very helpful. Very interesting

Bartek gave an excellent tour of the Krakow Ghetto and Schindler's factory. While it was a three hour tour, Bartek was able to cover an amazing amount of materials explaining the growth of the city, the commercial and social life as well as going into great deal about the fate of the Jews in the area before, during and after the war.
Perhaps the most extraordinary piece was the visit to Schindler's factory. The factory has been converted into a museum and is chock full of memorabilia and artifacts starting in the early 30's and going all the way till the end of the way in the later 40's.
Without Bartek's help, we definitely would have overlooked the most important pieces of the exhibit. He moved us a long at a solid pace, drawing our attention to the most salient displays. Without that guidance we would have never made it through in an hour and a half.
Bartek is soft spoken and thoughtful. He's been conducting tours for several years and brings a weatlh of knowledge to his work. He's intent on answering personal questions and bringing this terribly period of time in Krakow history to life for his visitors.
I highly recommend Bartek as a tour guide.Excellent Tour of Schindler's Factory

Bartek arranged our tour of Auschwitz as well as a tour of the Jewish Museum in Oswiecim, a few kilometers from the Memorial. He is knowledgeable about Polish history and is enjoys teaching others about his country. Bartel was also very adaptable - helping to pick us up in the pouring rain from the Memorial and arranging a spur-of-the-moment-trip to the Jewish Cemetery in Oswiecim, including securing a key to the cemetery and driving us to the location. He also provided a lot of information on the history of Krakow on our drive. Bartek is great!

Aleksandra is an incredibly knowledgeable guide who shared so much interesting information about Polish modern history, traditions and food culture. She took us to three different places - the first was for "starters" and vodka, the second was for the main meal (a very traditional one similar to what my Polish father would make) and we finished with a lovely cream cake at a small shop that brings the cake in daily from Pope John Paul II hometown nearby. Perfect amount of food, diverse settings and a delightful host. A Polish dinner in three restaurants

I had a great time hiking in the Tatras Mountains with Bartek. He was friendly, did a great job coordinating the day, had interesting talking points and the scenery on the hike we went on was beautiful. As a solo female traveler who has been trying to go on more hike while traveling, this was exactly the experience I was looking for to get out of the city and see the countryside, and it felt really safe from pick up to drop off. If you enjoy hiking and good company, would highly recommend this tour experience. Thank you, Bartek!Great hike!

We had never visited Krakow before but have enjoyed walking tours of several new cities around the world to orient us to the city. Bartek was the very best of what a tour guide should be - great knowledge of history, architecture, geography, social life, contemporary issues for the city and nation. He has a delightful personality, relaxed, easy going and filled with interesting commentary all along the way, including the (at times) humorous superstitions threaded throughout Krakovian history. He was very accommodating, offering to meet us at our hotel or several other locations. The pace of the tour was great with a relaxing stop for coffee along the way. The pre arrival communication was easy and straightforward which gave us great confidence - we were not at all disappointed. We give Bartek the strongest recommendation we could give for his time with us.Superb Tour Guide

Bartek is the greatest! I already loved and treasured Krakow more than any other place I’d ever been, but Bartek brought it even closer to my heart. He is so smart, enthusiastic, patient, kind, mature, responsive, flexible, fun -- all that good stuff. He’ll work with you in advance to discover places and events having to do with your own special interests – for me he took it upon himself to do extra research on my poetic heroes/heroines, and took me to local destinations I never could have found on my own. Places undiscoverable on the typical tourist maps, even though nearby, and best reached via tram or bus. (Hard to imagine navigating the city transportation system on my own with the eight or nine Polish words I “sort of knew” and could barely pronounce!) Bartek’s own enthusiasm for Krakow was evident in the depth and breadth of his knowledge and in his delight in sharing it. I could go on and on about how Bartek expanded “my” Poland, but I urge you to find out yourself. From small, inexpensive student restaurants and obscure special events in the old town, to hot springs and national parks at the edges of the Carpathians (with Bartek, city or countryside, I heard only Polish being spoken!), you will get way beyond being merely an appreciative tourist on a break from your “real” life. Your time in Krakow ill have been and continue to be part of your real life in a way that trips “abroad,” no matter how wonderful, almost never are.Bartek is wonderful! Go for it!

We had a tour of Krakow with Tomasz on Sunday 11 May 2025. We agreed that he was probably the best city guide we have ever had and we have traveled quite extensively over the years
Tomasz was charming and friendly. His knowledge was excellent and his command of English extremely good so that when he related stories to us we really benefitted from them. The tour was meant to be 3 hours which incidentally literally few by, but Tomasz hadn’t finished all that he wanted to show us so happily spent another half an hour with us in order the finish the tour
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!
Thank you very much Tomasz!

Tomasz met me at my hotel & drove me to my family’s hometown. This was a full day tour. He showed me the highlights & had asked for addresses or particular things I was interested in doing so he could research these ahead of our meeting. He was totally prepared. He knew where to park & took me to the properties I wanted to see & we walked through and around the village square. A huge & delicious Polish meal was eaten by us for lunch & we even shared a slice of pistachio cheesecake. He even suggested a bakery for me to visit when I got back to Krakow, in my search for my grandma’s kind of Polish cheesecake, which I did on my last day in town, & it was the best cheesecake I had.I got some Polish language & pronunciation lessons too! All in all, a very informative & good day. Thank you Tomasz. Professional & Personalable

We did multiple tours with Bartek : from the horrors of Auschwitz-Birkenau to discovering the delightful city that is Krakow and the Jewish quarter ; hearing about the history, the impact of the Nazi invasion and also the lovely folk tales /myths surrounding various churches and buildings. Bartek is a font of information and he delivers it in enough detail to keep one engaged. He is amazingly flexible and will do what it takes to make the tour worthwhile. We found it really easy to hang out with him and talk about lots of issues and life in Poland. He absolutely made our time in Krakow so much more interesting and fun and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his services. Our time in Krakow would have been half as interesting if we had not had Bartek with us. Just do it! Krakow unmasked

We had the food tour with Alessandra on our first full day in Krakow. She was full of key information of Polish cuisine and stories about the Polish culture, including how Poles hold their thumbs as an expression of hoping for good luck. And what good luck we had with Alexsandra as our guide! She was thoughtful to take into account a gluten intolerance of one of us, and she made each one of us feel specially included.
