We are very pleased with Selin as she is full of information about Vienna and its hisory. I must admit we had a challenging time trying to remember who is who but Selin is very patient with us. The pace of walk was just right for us at our age and Selin was constantly checking with us and giving us options given the limited time we had with her. My wife and I had an excellent tour with Susanne of the Schonbrunn Palace. She is a wealth of knowledge. Provided us with great context for all that we saw and detail about the Hapsburgs and Austrian and European history. We learned a lot and enjoyed Susanne's ability to teach without overloading. After we finished the Palace, we had a fantastic walk through the gardens. Susanne answered all of our questions and was extremely clear and personable. Roxane hat sich super nach den Bedürfnissen der Gruppe gerichtet. Wollen die mehr weniger, kürzer ..oder noch was anderes wissen. Geschichtliche zusammenhänge wurden witzig in Anektoten verpackt und verknüpft mit was wir schon gesehen hatten -so merkt man sich wirklich was. Roxane gave us a wonderful introduction to Vienna. This was our first experience with a personal/local tour guide and I don’t think we will be able to go back to group tours after! As this was our first time in Vienna, we chose a City Kickstart tour through Withlocals to get an overview and introduction of what to see. Our local guide, Roxana was amazing! In addition to her bubbly warm personality, she was a wealth of knowledge. In the relatively short time together, we learned more about the history, art, culture and unique aspects we never would have picked up in a large group tour or reading a visitors' guide. Doing this on foot was fanastic as we saw so much and knew exactly where we wanted to return to to spend more time and tour inside. Selin gave us a lovely mixture of history and food tastings that introduced us to Vienna beautifully. Our meeting point was not clear, however, so it was frustrating to be waiting for over half an hour in different places around the cathedral, both too worried about moving to look for each other! I suggest giving better instructions or even posting a photo of where to meet, telling clients what you will be wearing..the crowds at the Cathedral made it difficult! We were glad Selin didn't give up on us when our phones were not working and we eventually connected via email. A great tour, very personable and some great food! Laye start, but a good tour.

We only had one day in Vienna and really felt Claudia-Marie was the best fit for us. She worked around her schedule so we could have a 3-hour city tour with her. She was so knowledgeable, but also mixed in a lot of stories with the facts which made it so much more pleasurable and memorable. Even though it was a city tour, we stopped in a famous place and got a pastry and had an opportunity to sit and get out of the cold as well as an amazing wine bar with a cellar! Claudia-Marie helped us look for unique gifts as we walked as well. With her archeology background, she was able to add another dimension to the history and architecture. Our tour with Selin was fantastic! She has deep knowledge of the culture and the history of Vienna and gave us a fantastic introduction to the city through her story telling. She mixed some hidden gems in with the big highlights, and you can tell she knows everything there is to know about Vienna. Roxane was wonderful - from the great communications ahead of time to the level of detail and flexibility during our walk in and around town. We saw streets and landmarks that we never would have found on our own with a great history lesson along the way and clearly she has a fascination with art as well - so advice on museums etc was great! We also found some great places to eat based on her recommendations and she helped us navigate the tram a bit as well! I booked two different city tours for groups and found both exciting and entertaining. Claudia Behling knows a lot without being didactic, connects with the group, and came up with a special feature each time – be it archaeological finds to touch or the wonderful Grotto Railway ride. Thank you for the competent and extremely interesting tour through the Tulln Roman/City Museum. The explanations of the excavations were particularly impressive. It's great to get such an insight from a real expert/archaeologist on how archaeologists work and what is possible. Additionally, we were allowed to visit Hundertwasser's ship Regentag in Tulln Harbor. That was the absolute highlight.Private Groups Vienna

Es ist schön, so einen Einblick von einer richtigen Fachfrau/ Archäologin zu bekommen, wie die Archäologen arbeiten und was alles möglich ist. Susanne is a very warm and engaging person, with an enormous amount of knowledge on Vienna due to her historian background. She is a wonderful storyteller, bringing to life snippets of interesting information about the places we visited. When we experienced a delay at one of the cafes we visited Susanne kept us entertained with more stories. Ultimately we ended up moving to another cafe due to the delay, but that was by no means any fault of Susanne's. We enjoyed our foodie tour. The tastings and the history along the way were a wonderful introduction on our first day in Vienna.Cold day but warm experience
