Reem was a wonderful guide. She knew a lot about life in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. We did a very nice tour of the magnificent Mosque and the City with her and she absolutely went far beyond what was expected. She kept going as long as we could handle (which we did). She stayed with us longer and showed us some hidden gems and delicacies of the city that only a local would know. She loves what she does and this helps the experience a lot. I can not recommend more knowing this beautiful city with Helena, you will not regret if you do decide to visit Abu Dhabi. Reem has been an exceptional guide.

I booked Reem 45mins before meeting her at the Grand Mosque. Honestly, any other person would have refused to meet me but Reem was keen to come. She met me at the entrance to confirm I was wearing appropriate clothing and show me how to wrap my head.
Reem knew so much about the mosque, it's history and the decor. She tailored the tour exactly to my needs - for an intelligent, overstimulated tourist.
After the informative tour, with historical context, fun facts and some photo taking (by Reem), we did not want to say good night.
Reem kindly invited me to join her for a meal. Not only is Reem a stellar guide but also an incredibly kind human being. I hope that we keep in touch.DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK REEM NOW!!

Adnan did a great job of customizing my tour. We saw sites that I wasn't going to see on my other days in Dubai. He is an Emirati and was knowledgeable about Dubai and UAE history and future plans. He was quite open about his personal life which was a great introduction into his family's Muslim traditions. He taught me how to hold my coffee cup and ask for more if I'm ever invited into an Emirati home. He even helped me purchase a kandura in the souqs and negotiated the price for me. He exceeded my high expectations! I would use him again and recommend him to anyone visiting Dubai. Adnan is fantastic!

We booked a 4 hour tour starting at 9am.
The day before our tour Khaled arranged for a colleague to take over instead. This was a big disappointment as I had watched the guides’ videos to choose someone we thought would be good.
He told the new guide the wrong time so we ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes. The colleague was friendly enough, but didn’t really act as a guide; he was really just a chauffeur. He drove us to the mosque, “palace”, and date market. We missed the heritage village because he was late and hadn’t checked the time. Most of our “tour” was spent in the car, and Mohammed didn’t really provide any information during that time. He also rushed us through the mosque and shared very little about it - we learned more from the few signs we read as we were whisked through.
Overall this was a waste of money. We could’ve paid less to taxi to the locations. This will be our last booking via With Locals as 3 out of 4 times we’ve used the platform we’ve been disappointed. It really seems to be a scam.Bait and switch?

Our 4 hour Abudhabi sightseeing trip with Adnan was wonderful from start to finish. We asked lots of questions and Adnan was very happy to give us lots of interesting insights into history, culture and the vision for Abudhabi. This was quite honestly the best guided tour experience we have ever had. You must book this trip- fabulous in every way and in a few short hours you see so much and learn even more! We wanted dinner last minute and to see a specific building last minute and adjusted the schedule easily !

My husband and I had a lovely experience with Sandy. We had great food and soo much food we were stuffed. My husband is vegetarian and his dietary needs were met at all spots. Sandy was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Dubai which made the tour very interesting. I would highly recommend making this a part of your Duabi trip. Amazing Adventure

We took a half day city tour with Captain Usman and Adnan. It was one of the best experiences we had in UAE. Mr Adnan explained to us everything about the city and each of the places that we visited including the history and culture of the city. His knowledge is impressive. He took pictures of us everywhere and was very patient throughout the trip. We could not have had a better city tour than this. If it were not for Mr. Adnan, our trip would not have been as enjoyable and interesting. We were so lucky to have him as our guide for today. We did the streetfood tour with Sandy and a had a great time. The communication was good and Sandy gave us good explanation about the meeting point, as well as the traffic at this time. The range of food was excellent and we visited restaurants, which we would never had found on our own as tourists. Sandy is a great tour guide and we got special prices at the spice market as the sellers know him. He made our trip to Dubai very special as we love to experiance local food on our vacations.

We were lucky enough to have a private licensed guide for the entire trip in Abu Dhabi, and let me tell you, Anamaria was an absolute gem. She was a walking encyclopaedia of the city’s history, casually rattling off facts with ease like it was second nature. But what made her stand out wasn’t just her knowledge — she quickly became more than just a guide. She became a friend, someone we laughed with and genuinely enjoyed spending time with. My boys even declared that she’s now part of our family, and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. Anamaria truly embodied the spirit of Arabic hospitality. He presented the numbers and rankings of the highlights (the biggest, the largest, the most expensive of the world) without hesitation. We got to learn a lot about the (short) history of uae as well as the culture of the present. He explained the political system and the role of the King and the royal family, and he also shared details about his personal life and the way his family lives, which was very interesting. We will remember our afternoon with Adnan as the true highlight of our time in uae Highly recommended - worth every dirham!Great experience!
