Itinerary
This is what our experience could look like, but it’s not set in stone! Once you book, you can chat directly with your host to make small tweaks to suit your preferences.
The biggest railway station in Switzerland
We will meet at the country's largest train station under the sculpture of the guardian angel and immediately begin to explore the city.
Alfred Escher Fountain
This man had a fix-it idea: railroads. If you had to spend 4 days traveling from Zurich to Bern, where he worked in parliament, you too would make sure that by the end of the 19th century Switzerland had the best network of railways in Europe.
Lindenhof
is the scene of numerous historical events. In the 4th century a Roman fort stood on Lindenhof – and in the 9th century the grandson of Charlemagne built a regal palace as place of residence on the very same site.
St. Peter's Church
The clock on the tower is the largest in Europe and the dial has a diameter of 8.7 metres!
Bahnhofstrasse
The shopping heart of the city of Zurich.
Paradeplatz
One of the most expensive pieces of real estate in Switzerland.
Fraumünster Church
Many visitors are attracted by the five stained glass windows prepared by Marc Chagal.
Grossmünster Church
- symbol of the city and Zürich's religious heart and soul.
Niederdorf
or Dörfli – the “little village”. One of the last places in town where you can still find real locals.
Cabaret Voltaire
The Cabaret Voltaire is the birthplace of the world-famous Dada movement, which started in Zurich in 1916.
Lake Zurich
Golden and Silver sides
KKL
Jean Nouvel's architectural masterpiece. Сoncert hall with a capacity of 1700 people, has become an emblem of the city. The imposing and elegant roof stretching over the lake serves to bring clearly distinct architectural features together: the Concert Hall, Lucerne Hall, conference rooms and art museum.
The Arch
The arch you are standing next to is all that remains from the old station. It was the main entry portal.
Chapel Bridge
The world-famous wooden bridge is the most photographed spot in Lucerne.
Fritschi fountain
There is a legend in Lucerne about a fun-loving farmer named Fritschi. Every business trip to Lucerne ended with him visiting taverns and having fun. He bequeathed all his money to one of the guilds to serve wine to the poor during carnival. To this day, the guilds fulfill his wish.
Musegg Wall
Lucerne began building the city fortifications in the 13th century - a symbol of power and domination! The towers and the Musegg wall are opened from 1 April to 1 November.
Lion Monument
Have you ever heard the expression: "No money, no Swiss"? it's not about the banks at all. The mercenaries are the history and the present of Lucerne. We'll talk about how it all began at the most mournful and moving piece of stone in the world.

luliia is an amazing guide. Having lived in Ukraine, Italy, and now Switzerland, she has wonderful perspective on the history and culture of Europe. Her personality is incredibly upbeat. We had a lot of fun walking around Lucerne with her. Because of her nationality and language skills, she gives lots of tours for Eastern Europeans. However, her English language skills were very good. Iuliia also gave us lots of ideas about other hikes and day trips to take around LucerneAll you need to know about Lucerne

She came to our hotel to get us, knew all of the history, helped us get fondue dinner reservations that day and lunch reservations at an impeccable Italian restaurant the next day as well, and didn't charge us time for getting us to a boat trip and continuing on our own to Burgenstock that was the highlight of whole trip.Favorite tour stop with favorite guide

We contacted Lullia early on and told her the kind of tour we wanted. A mix of history, where to go, mountain hiking, lake cruise, etc. She got back with us quickly and proposed some activities, we responded with what sounded good and left it up to her to organize. We started early in the day so we could fit everything in. When we finally met she was very relaxed but diligent on how we went thru the day. She recommended places to visit mixed in with in depth history about how Luzern came to be and evolved. We had a relaxing hike on top of Rigi, ate lunch on top at a mountain cheese maker, wandered around mountain paths, cruised the lake, strolled thru the city. Never rushed but very pleasent. It was a long day but exactly what we wanted. Probably the best guide we have used in all of Europe. Luzern how you like it!

Lulia was a last minute substitution because we changed our timing due to a rain forecast.
What a treat! She has a wonderful personality, and we laughed a lot as we walked around. Yet she is also very knowledgable and well traveled herself-so we also learned a lot, We call this kind of tour a "lay of the land" tour, to acquaint us with the city where we have just arrived and would spend a few days. It was perfect.Perfect

More about me
I learned to read at the age of five and quickly fell in love with fairy tales.
For 11 years, I studied the cello at the same school Oistrakh graduated from in Ukraine.
My favorite subject in school was history, my true passion. I dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, but I graduated from the acting faculty and worked as an actress in the theater.
In 2008, I moved to Venice and gained experience in travel companies hosting tourists throughout Italy, France, and Switzerland. So, even before I moved to Lucerne, I knew Switzerland very well!
In 2015, I received my guide license in Venice.
In 2020, I moved to Switzerland, which is now my home. Here, I have my family and continue to work as a guide.
I promise not to overwhelm you with too many dates and names.
