We had a wonderful tour of Florence with Martina! Our 11 year old daughter, who does not like tours, could not stop raving about her. We loved her knowledge and her positive energy. She was engaging the entire time and we loved how her stories brought the city to life. Martina also went above and beyond to give us recommendations for Naples (since we were going there later in the week). Overall, we cannot recommend Martina more! My 13 year old daughter Maxine and I absolutely loved our tour with Giulia. She was so interesting and really made the streets of Florence come alive for us. We avoided crowds, saw small things that we would never have noticed, and got a real feel for the history of the place. Cristina was very knowledgeable and approachable! She kept every person from our 5 year to our 17 year old involved in the tour. She also brought my 5-year old a scavenger hunt + markers to color which made my child ecstatic as she was "tired of walking and doing tours" ; )! we also had the best gelato as part of our tour! Our tour with Cristina surpassed all expectations! She immediately engaged my kid and my teen -- who were somewhat tired and maybe even a little cranky from lots of sightseeing -- and kept them interested for the full two hour tour. Virginia was very knowledgeable about all of Florence and the history but she advertises as family friendly - and there was nothing that made it "family friendly" i don't think she ever got down on her level and really spoke to my daughter or engaged her at all. Again she knew her stuff so if you want a history, lovely walking tour this is great. but not family friendly necessarily great history - not for kids

Cristina was a wonderful enthusiastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and passion for art history. She gave us a nice introduction to Florence that gave us a head start for our 4 days in the city. She answered all our questions and was able to speak with great authority and passion on everything we saw. She worked hard to keep my 10 & 11 year olds engaged despite unexpected pouring rain and cold weather conditions. Cristina adapted to the weather really well and gave us a great tour. At the end we asked her for recommendations of what food to try in Florence and her favourite shopping stores and she gave us some helpful tips. Fantastic intro to Florence

Prior to the date of the tour, Dina provided excellent communication regarding the meeting place and what to expect on the tour. Dina met me at our hotel right on time. Originally, the tour was to include my wife but we made the mistake of touring the Boboli Gardens the day before and she had blisters on her feet. For English speaking guests, rest assured, Dina speaks perfect English. Dina was full of interesting stories and facts about the Oltrarno area and the Medici family. She took me to a few local artisans to describe their goods and process. Dina has a great personality and the time went by too fast. Dina was warm and quickly made our two kids comfortable. She ensured that she connected with them on their level (sometimes literally squatting down to their eye level) and engaged them with questions. Our family of 7 (grandparents and kids, ages 5 & 9) had a wonderful tour of Florence’s city center with Dina. She was super knowledgeable, patient, funny, and it felt like we were wandering the city with a good friend by our side. She answered all my questions even before we met and was engaging throughout the tour. It is exactly as advertised: a Family tour, so if you’re looking for something specifically to keep young kids entertained (like a treasure hunt or games), this isn’t it. Dina was simply the best. We had an afternoon tour and were a bit worried about the kids being tired. She completely enchanted the children and then bent down to talk to them at eye level. Wir durften mit Maja Florenz erkunden und sie hat uns Details gezeigt und erklärt, die wir ohne sie nie entdeckt hätten. Die Kinder hat sie grossartig miteinbezogen und die zweistündige Tour ist wie im Flug vergangen. Auch muss noch erwähnt werden, dass unser Zug 2 Stunden Verspätung hatte. Es war für sie kein Problem, sie hat flexibel und freundlich darauf reagiert und uns sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt. Maja ist freundlich, kompetent, spricht gut Deutsch und konnte auf all unsere Fragen Auskunft geben. Ausserdem hat sie uns noch Tips gegeben, wo wir nach der Führung Essen gehen können. Da wir leider nur ein paar Stunden in Florenz verbracht haben, konnten wir dank Maja das Beste aus dieser Zeit machen.Grossartige Führung

We are so pleased we booked a family tour of Florence with Dina! We chose her at random on the website because of her warm, smiley face and she was just as lovely in real life. It was our first time in Florence, with three teenage children. It was hot and we wanted to hit the main sites as efficiently as possible. Dina adapted her level of conversation to our group perfectly, (we have one history lover and one who’d rather be in a swimming pool!) We learnt a lot about how the city began, who the main players were and got a great insight into Italian politics. Two hours flew by! She also shared her favourite gelato shop and set us up hot delicious hot sandwiches for after the tour. In addition, she helped us get tickets to see David when we had struggled to get them online. Overall this was the best way we could have possibly seen Florence. Highly recommend Dina! She is absolutely delightful!! Highlight of our holiday!
