De kinderen (4, 7, en 9 jaar) hebben genoten van de wandeling en van de verhalen door en over de straatjes van Parijs. Rachelle heeft leuke feitjes verteld over de wijken en gebouwen. Veel laten zien en leuke tips nog gegeven om nog te kunnen zien in Parijs. Op haar advies heerlijk een keer ook geluncht bij restaurant Le Procope. Was zeer de moeite waard om daar een keer te gaan eten.

We had a brilliant time with Abi. She is a kind and keen ambassador for Paris and was excellent with my seven year old - tuning into her interests and keeping her entertained with lots of information and questions. Without Abi we would not have seen so many incredible buildings and unique parts of the city such as Notre Dame and the Pantheon (impromptu detour to see one of the original metres was also very my appreciated). If we come back, we'll definitely try and book with her again to explore another part of Paris. Would highly recommend if you have a child and are looking for an intelligent and engaging guide.Friendly, helpful, very good company

I definitely recommend Gelsomina to anyone who has kids and wants to learn more about Paris’ hidden gems. We travelled with a 6 year old and a 1.5 year old. Gelsomina was incredible with both children. She had a scavenger hunt for our oldest and was very accommodating of our youngster. She is a wealth of knowledge and an amazing human! The tour was very informative and fun for the entire family. Right after the tour ended, my 6 year old asked if we could have another tour with Gelsomina the next time we come to Paris. My wife and I took our granddaughter for a week-long visit to Paris and contracted Anna to give us a child-friendly orientation to the city. Anna did a marvelous job of introducing Emma to the City of Lights (and, as she added, the City of Imagination). We visited many classic sights, and Anna used games and visual aids to make them relatable to a 10-year-old child. She often referenced her young twins and even took us by an elementary school. We had a wonderful tour with Gelsomina! We started in St. Germain, walking through the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. All along the way, Gelsomina talked about interesting facts that we didn’t know before and pointed out things that we would have missed on our own. We loved our Mountmarte tasting, walking tour for 3 reasons: 1- Alexia, what a gem! And a true local, she was knowledgeable and gave us so many experiences we would never have known on our own. 2- the tastes! Rachelle was a fantastic guide! She was able to help us on short notice and made our short time in Paris memorable. Rachelle communicated promptly and professionally; spoke great English! While the quality of food samples shared on the tour were good the venues left much to be desired. It was awkward trying to enjoy the different foods while standing on the street. Alexia was a delight as she toured us through the charming neighborhood of Montmartre. She made sure to cater the experience to our tastes and was full of stories of the different areas we walked through. Giedre was a gem. She was full of information and provided us with good samples. The tour itself was not what we were expecting. We assumed we would be sampling food in restaurants. Our first sample was in a restaurant and we did sit down and eat some cheese in the park and that was fine. Standing on a crowded street trying to eat a sample was not the most pleasant experience. I was expecting more drinks with our samples and I thought wine was included, but apparently it was not.Not the experience we were looking for

We did really appreciate this tour with Gelsomina. She is a very inspiring and lively, and she listen to you and not just talk herself. The tour in the newly fully renovated Notre Dame cathedral was breathtaking and very informative. I have seen the Cathedral many times during the last 20 years, but this was a completely new experience. Our tour also included part of the Latin Quarter. And we learned new things about many parts of it. Gelsomina was a very kind and knowledge person that we liked very much not just as a guide, but as a person. She really took care of us. This was important to us since my wife do not walk very fast and uses two sticks. We will book her again the next time we visit Paris. So, we can really recommend her. A fascinating tour with an excellent guide

My wife and I booked an afternoon tour with Anukool around Montmatre. Met Anukool and he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who gave us a great tour of the area and told us many things we would not have learned if we had done this on our own. He recommended some great places to visit and eat. Montmatre as a area is well worth visiting and whilst there are the obvious attractions such as Sacre Couer there also many hidden gems. Gelsomina has obviously studied the french history and the french culture. We had a member in our group who could not walk very far without stopping to catch her breath. Gelsomina took it into account and never tried to rush us. We also had a 10 year old child and she often kept him interested by asking him questions. Alex had a wonderful itinerary planned for us. She sent me about 5 options to choose from and I picked one that ended in and around the neighborhood where we were staying. I also let her know we love food! It was great to be able to tailor our tour to our interests. She took us to a handful of sweets shops with different delicacies along with a shop for us to purchase good pate and cheese. We got a lot of history along the way and got to see a few hidden gems as well. She talked with each of us individually as we walked. Anukool has lived in France for a long time and loves his city. He is very knowledgeable about French history and an engaging conversationalist.
