Our guide was Marcos and he was one of the best tour guides we've had. We were travelling with our three young kids and Marcos did a brilliant job of tailoring the narrative to ensure they were always engaged and interested. He also incorporated a number of unplanned detours to get the kids ice cream!! It was our first time in Valencia so the itinerary curated by Marcos was bang-on the money. I was actually surprised with the range of sites we were able to cover in 2 hours. One of the subtle highlights was walking through the back-lanes rather than on the main streets all of the time. It gives a greater sense of the Old Town, it's history but also the way of life now. Great job Marcos and thanks very much.Well Organised and Great Value

Marcos was a great guide! He was wonderful at navigating the needs & interests of me and my wife, my mother in law who is very into Jewish history, and our two kids (8 & 6). He totally engaged the kids by getting on their level (physically) and responded quickly when we needed the many bathroom breaks (small bladders...). When we go back to Valencia, he's our first call!SO GOOD! Great with our kids!

Mike did a great job in creating a tour adapted to the interests of the whole family and managed to keep our two kids focussed on the various details of the streets, buildings and history of Valencia. Touring Valencia with Esther was a wonderful experience for my 10 y/old son and me! We had such a great time with her showing us her city and telling us stories about its past (beware of bats! 😊) and its present (the way we looked at graffiti all around changed completely into a game, after hanging around with her! He’s a teacher by profession, and it really showed in the way he was able to get the kids involved, keep their attention, and explain interesting things using stories and humor. We did the family tour with Marco. He was the perfect guide. There was 3 children in our group, 10, 8 and 1 and they all loved it and were entertained from finish to end. Even though it was in the high 30s Marco made the tour very comfortable finding shady spots and going at a nice pace. He was very knowledgable but interesting and his passion shone through. Too many our guides simply just tell you facts, such as the date of this building and the name of that building etc.; facts that one forgets within a few hours after the tour. Maria is amazing, we were 4, different age and interests, but she was able to read into this and adjust every minute of our visit. She was very well prepared, on just on history, but also on local places, drinks, food and culture. The tour with Marcos was a highlight of València. We really enjoyed how engaging and knowledgeable Marcos was, the three hours flew by and we learned so much about the city. What a fantastic 3.5 hours. A superb teacher who brought the old and the new of Valencia to life. A history lesson, recommendations on where to go by ourselves and Spanish lessons for my daughter as we toured the highlights of this beautiful city. I felt very sorry for the packed generic tours .. whilst we had a totally bespoke tour catering to exactly what we wanted to learn, taste in the market and plan for other days. We had a tour of Valencia with Mimoza today. With the Fallas Festival going on I’m sure that it made things difficult for Mimoza. But I have to say that she put on a fantastic tour. My wife and I both loved seeing Valence with Mimoza. We learned so much about the history and culture of Valencia that we didn’t know and that we wouldn’t have learned except from someone who lives here. The best part of the tour was diving into multiple buildings that we thought were private or at the very least charged for entrance! Her knowledge of architecture was encyclopaedic.
