Elena is a great storyteller and extremely engaging. Plus, she is a native with a worldview having left the city before. So she understands the nuances of being a Venetian and looking at the city through the lens of a tourist! She was also very informative, we had a great time, in spite of the December winter cold. She was also good with answering questions from my tween/ teenager and made sure we were comfortable whilst walking. I had studied The Merchant of Venice for literature - and Elena gave me the 101 on the key places mentioned in the book and even took us on a Traghetto boat ride! Highly recommend if you're looking to discover more about Venice through the eyes of a Venetian. Best way to immerse in Venice history!

Adair was a fanrtastic support on the day, we had a big issue as our ferry was cancelled so we arrived over an hour late to Venice, on our journey to venice Adair helped replan our afternoon to make sure our children had what they needed and enjoyed their time in Venice. Private taxis (whilst expensive) were defiantly worth it to reduce the stress of getting around on a tight timescale. Adair organised a mask making workshop for our 7 and 4 year olds which was wonderful and exactly what we needed after sitting on a bus for 6 hours! I would highly recommend Adair she made our afternoon special and really easy!Fantastic Support and Great Day Out

Claudia gave our family a wonderful time showing us her special areas in Venice. She was warm, enthusiastic and fun and her stories about Venetian life now and in past times were fascinating for our teenagers and very interesting for the adults. Our family of 5 (9, 12 and 14 year old) booked Family Friendily Venice City Tour with Claudia on our first day of our weekend stay. The 2 hour tour was a perfect way to understand the history, orientation and local traditions. Claudia was a skilled storyteller balancing information in an entertaining way. Her passion for the city certainly rubbed off as we enjoyed continuing getting lost in the backstreet alleys during our stay with a new appreciation. At the end of our tour Claudia kindly offered dinner options and made our reservation. Furthermore, knowing that we were arriving on Redentore Festival (3rd weekend in July) she made earlier with us to provide program information and events requiring booking. Unfortunately, our family tour was canceled by Roberto because we ran ‘late’. Granted it was a family tour as scheduled and one of the children had a slight emergency which is why we ran late. Not enough that we stayed in touch with Roberto and let him know we were running late, not enough that there was about an hour and a half left in our planned tour, our host just cancelled without any recourse. Not only we didn’t get reimbursed but now going back and forth with the company trying to justify our request for reimbursement. It’s a bad incentive for the host to be able to get paid without delivering any service due to the client being late. Unacceptable!No integrity and no service

We had a fantastic tour with Genny. We flew in to Venice at 7:30 am and planned the tour to get a feel for the city and try to make ourselves stay awake. It was a big success but we were also very tired!! Genny did the most amazing job of showing us the sights but also recognizing we were low on steam. She gave us just the right amount of information to make the tour entertaining, informative, and interesting but also not dragging things out when she knew we were tired. Venice City Kids Tour with Genny: by far one our for FAVORITE activities in Venice. Genny was the best tour guide - she has 2 kids of her own and was so engaging and funny with our kids. We loved her so much - everyone in Venice seemed to know her; yelling “Ciao, Genny!” everywhere we went. Because of her, she got us a private glass blowing demonstration (which we didn’t think we could do because we couldn’t book one in time), a mask making class with San Marco 596 after our tour ANDD she called in a favor and got us entrance to the rooftop of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi with the most incredible views of Venice when we couldn’t get our own tickets 🥲 Please book her — you will not be disappointed. Plus she got our boys a little treat that they loved. She is truly special!Genny was the best!

While we were excited about the tour based on the description provided on your website, we regret to inform you that our experience fell significantly short of our expectations. The tour was advertised as an engaging adventure suitable for families with children, promising interactive activities and an entertaining experience for all. Unfortunately, our actual experience was quite the opposite. During the tour, we found that it lacked the interactive and kid-friendly elements that were promised. Most notably, our host had specifically assured us that there would be a treasure hunt as part of the tour, which was a significant factor in our decision to book it. Regrettably, the promised treasure hunt did not take place, and this led to profound disappointment among the children in our group. As parents, we were also disappointed that our expectations were not met. We understand that unexpected variations can occur in any tour, but we believe that the tour we received did not align with the description provided on your website. Considering this, we kindly request a refund of the tour cost to reflect our dissatisfaction, with specific regard to the unfulfilled promise of the treasure hunt. Very disappointing

We decided the start our time in Venice with a tour with Genny and this is the best decision we could have made. It was our first time visiting Venice and my husband and I were travelling with our 5–year-old daughter. Genny was such a delight from the moment we met her! She is one of those people that you feel like you’ve known forever when you’ve only just met. She made us all feel immediately comfortable. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable about Venice, its history and sites and her enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge was incredible. She tailored our tour to the day and time and managed to get us access to an unexpected and very memorable view of the city. She also helped us book a gondola ride and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. I only wish we had had more time to spend with Genny. We close our visit to Venice with a tour from Genny. Genny is fantastic, she shows us the first church, pillory, the (fish) market and the best gelateria and pizzeria in Venice. She tells the story of the masks, carnival and the plague, the rats and cats heroes, the prison and the bookshop. But above all, she takes us to the old ware house where all the famous fashion brands are located nowadays, not for shopping but for the roof terrace where you have a 360 degree view of Venice! Not pre-booked but Genny gets us up fir 15 minutes. She is an example of who does good, meets well and a smile costs nothing. With her disarming stories, smile and character, she get everything done during the tour and she knows how to inform and intrigue all 5 of us. We love Genny!Great experience with a big smile
